I have been tracking your posts regarding the Catholic errors, and I think we get the point by now, but I wonder what error do you think was first in the sense that all of the others resulted from it?

The following information came from AI. AI's data base consists of information derived from just about all documents discovered and all books published.
Through the years, the West became mostly Nicaean, and the East mostly Arian. When the Spanish, and devout Nicaean Theodosius became emperor in 379 AD, he issued the Edict of Thessalonica in 380 AD. The Edict specifically targeted other Christian sects like Arianism, which held different beliefs about the nature of Christ. These were labeled as heresies with both divine and imperial retribution. The theological content follows: "... let us believe in the one deity of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, in equal majesty and in a holy Trinity". The edict then transforms this theological definition into a legal status: "We authorize the followers of this law to assume the title of Catholic Christians". For the first time, the state claimed the authority to determine who could legally bear this name. The consequences for those who did not conform were severe: "...but as for the others, since, in our judgement they are foolish madmen, we decree that they shall be branded with the ignominious name of heretics, and shall not presume to give to their conventicles the name of churches". The language is one of utter contempt. It strips non-Nicene Christians of their religious legitimacy, their property rights as religious bodies, and their identity, recasting them in law as insane deviants. Finally, the edict makes explicit the threat of state-sanctioned violence: "They will suffer in the first place the chastisement of the divine condemnation and in the second the punishment of our authority which in accordance with the will of Heaven we will decide to inflict". This clause is the essence of the new state-church relationship. Theological error was now a civil crime, and the power of the Roman state was officially pledged to persecute religious dissent. Arian bishops were systematically deposed and expelled, and their churches were handed over to Nicene clergy. Theodocius's imperial decree had become the official doctrine of the Church. Everyone was forced to preach the Trinity under penalty of death. The enforcement of these laws culminated in a grim precedent: in 384 AD, the Spanish ascetic Priscillian and several of his followers were tried and executed by a secular court on charges of heresy, marking the first time that Christians were put to death for their beliefs by a Christian Roman state.

Yes, I'm sorry if I know it was not addressed to me.

This is a CC sight and when I read something that does not look like it's GODS word I have to ask questions.

The most important thing is being reborn and only one way to be reborn.

Since you are pointing out all of the Catholic problems as there are many, I was challenging you on yours.

Don't get me wrong I appreciate it, those who are wrong need to be challenged I can only guess not many Catholics on this sight to go against you and HIS word.

If I can't get in your business a little to question you why do you all in the Catholic business?

The Catholics isn't the only denomination who doesn't follow JESUS and HIS rule book will you be challenging them next?

These were my questions,

When Peters message is very clear why would you imply,

1. Peters messaged didn't mean what it said.

And why would you say,

2. What it means is they already got baptized in the name of Jesus through Peter's preaching?

How does someone get baptized for remission of sins while listening to someone speak?

If you will not answer them, will you at least look into them?

I'm just in the seed bossiness GOD BLESS YOU.

Hi Ouch.
The reason I've been posting Catholic mistakes is because I grew up as a Catholic and am familiar with all these mistakes. My posts are mainly to educate Catholics.
Here are the answer to your two questions:
1. Peter's message is clear what it says for the Jewish Christians, just like worshiping at the Temple in Jerusalem, circumcision, celebrating Jewish holidays and customs. John the Baptist clearly stated that there was going to be someone greater than him who was going to be baptizing with the Holy Spirit instead of water.
2. Matt 28: 19-20 Go ye, therefore, and
teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you; and, lo, I am with you always, even (that is) unto the end of the age. Amen. It is Jesus Christ that does the baptizing with the Holy Spirit. Our job is to bring people to Christ through preaching. Read Acts 19: 1-7. In verse 5, "When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Not before they heard. Not way later when they got baptized with water, but when they heard about Jesus). The Father chooses who to give to His Son by granting repentance so that they turn to Him for forgiveness. That is Baptism in the name of the Father. When through preaching, you put your faith and trust in Jesus for the remission of sins committed, you have been baptized in the name of the Son. It is the Son who then baptizes you in the name of the Holy Spirit.

-"Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were BAPTIZED into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And IF you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Galatians 3:24-29 NKJV

Yep, that seems true. So RC’s original sin was failure to realize that God’s normative method of evangelizing is persuasion rather than persecution and coercion. This sin was repeated by the Muslims.

Catholic Mistake #22
Confessions to a Priest
Catholics teach that individuals can confess sins committed after baptism and have them absolved by a priest. This is known as a confession. Here it is in the catechism 989 After having reached the age of discretion, each member of the faithful is obliged to confess faithfully his or her grave sins at least once a year. 990 No one is prohibited from confessing through an interpreter ...The Bible is very clear that Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and men. We don't need an interpreter (1 Tim 2: 5). Catholic priests are sinners, just like the rest of us, and nowhere in the Bible does it say to have a one-on-one private session and confess your sins. In fact the idea that a sinful man can forgive someone else's sins is blasphemy against Jesus Christ. A priest doesn't have the power to forgive sins. Only God does. Here is a question: who does the priest confess his sins to? Directly to Jesus? So priests can go directly to Jesus, but the people in the catholic church can't. So is the RCC saying that priests are better than the average person in the church? Romans 3: 23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; So who are we supposed to confess our sins to?1 John 1: 9 If we confess our sins, then He (Jesus Christ) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.Confessing your sins to a priest is a man-made tradition of the RCC that is found nowhere in the Bible.

Thank you and it's best for you to deal with them and glad you can see their erors and got out.

Having a catholic background do you still beleive in the trinity?

This however is very confusing.

"When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. (Not before they heard. Not way later when they got baptized with water, but when they heard about Jesus). The Father chooses who to give to His Son by granting repentance so that they turn to Him for forgiveness. That is Baptism in the name of the Father. It sounds like your saying when they believe they are baptized for remission of sin.

I will tell you what I see in HIS word and go from there ok.

Yes JESUS told HIS disciple to go into all nations baptized in THE NAME of the father, the son and the Holy Ghost.

JESUS reveled who HE was in Matthew 28:19, why do I say that?

Every recorded act of baptism was done in JESUS name, EVERYONE of them, did they disobey HIM or did they know who he was?

If when you believe sins have been remitted when you believe, what is the water for?

Why did JESUS tell HIS disciples to baptize???

JESUS fills us with the Holy Ghost.

This happened when JESUS told HIS disciples to wait,

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

According to Peter,
Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

That is what happens when JESUS fills you with HIS spirit the Holy Ghost.

Same with what JESUS says,

Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

What do you think happens when someone is filled with the Holy Ghost?

Thank you and it's best for you to deal with them and glad you can see their erors and got out.

What do you think happens when someone is filled with the Holy Ghost?

Matt 15: 9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. See post # 261.
John 17: 3 And this is life eternal, that they know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. "thee, the only true God" and "thou" refer to the one that Jesus is praying to, which is the Father.
God has always existed, is everywhere at once, transcends time, has a mind, heart and will, can create out of nothing, and knows everything about everything, including what everyone is thinking and feeling, and the future. Our reality is in the mind of the Father because that is the only way that He can have all those qualities and power. He is the Father because He is the Father of our reality and everything in it. The Father, who has always existed, must have created many different realities, and ours is just one of many. In our reality with nothing in it and nothing happening, there is no concept of time. When He placed a living, thinking, willful, and feeling being in it and called him His Son, time begain because there is now a time before, during, and after this event. The Father interacts with the realities that He creates through His Holy Spirit, which in Isaiah 63: 9-10 is referred to as "the angel of His presence". Angel because it can be sent, and where the Holy Spirit is, the Father is. In our reality, the Father fills (indwells) His Son with His Holy Spirit so that the Father resides (is present) in the Son's being. The Son has his own mind, feeling, and will, but because he loves the Father, he surrenders his will to the Father. The Son is the image of the invisible God in our reality because the Father is in him and he obeys the Father. Col 1: 15-17 The Father, through His Holy Spirit that is in His Son, creates everything that is in our reality. In 1 Cor 15: 27, because the Father loves His Son, all creation in our reality is placed under the Son's feet, which makes the Son Lord and God of all creation in our reality, but the Father is the Lord and God of all realities. If you think of the Holy Spirit as a portal through which the Father can enter the being indwelled, scripture starts making sense.
The Holy Spirit is a
portal through which the Father can enter the being indwelled in order to communicate with, speak through, motivate, and empower to perform His will.
When Jesus ascended back to the Father to get glorified, he received a glorified body made up of the spiritual souls of those chosen by the Father to fill this body. The person gets baptized in the name of the Father when the Father fills the person with such extreme repentance that he turns to God for forgiveness. The person is baptized in the name of the Son when he puts his faith and trust in Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. When Jesus baptizes him in the name of the Holy Spirit, he receives a portal through which the Son can enter his being, along with the Father who resides in the Son. That is when the person is born again. Together, they change the motivation for living from love of self first to love of God first and all others as we love ourselves. That is how we get perfected. When the motivation for every thought and action is loving God by trying to do His will, and loving our neighbors through our actions, we will have been perfected because we would be devoid of any negative thoughts and feelings. John 13: 33-35, John 14: 23
With all this in mind, let's explore scripture to see if my explanation about the Holy Spirit makes sense.
Col 1: 24-29 The mystery that Paul is referring to is that God's glory is His Holy Spirit. The hope of glory is the hope of the portal through which Christ can enter our beings. John 14: 20
Eph 2: 18
Through Christ in us, we have direct access to both the Son and the Father (who is in the Son). John 14: 6
John 14: 7-11
The Father, who is in Jesus's being through the Holy Spirit that descended on him during John's water baptism, speaks directly through Jesus to Philip. Luke 4:1, John 12: 49-50, and John 17: 8
John 14: 13
The Father is glorified in the Son because when the Son enters a being through the Holy Spirit, so does the Father who is in him. When we pray to the Father in Jesus's name to bless a loved one with the Holy Spirit, he will do it.
I can give you many more examples if you like.

Yep, that seems true. So RC’s original sin was failure to realize that God’s normative method of evangelizing is persuasion rather than persecution and coercion. This sin was repeated by the Muslims.

Do muslims even speak of sin?

They follow allah not JESUS and a total different rule book.

Catholic Mistake #23
The Catholic Sainthood process
When you hear the word saint, most people equate that to meaning catholic. That's because the catholic church has hijacked this word to mean something entirely different than what it means in the bible. The RCC has turned dead people into saints. Well, how does the sainthood process work? How does someone become a saint? Apparently, there are five steps to becoming a saint. Step 1: wait 5 years. The process cannot normally start until at least 5 years after their death. Step 2: become a servant of God. After the 5 years are up or if a waiver is granted, the bishop of where the person died can open an investigation into the life of the individual to see if they lived their lives with sufficient holiness and virtue to be considered for sainthood. This sounds like they're preaching the gospel of works. Step 3: show proof of a life of heroic virtue. Is the RCC like a court system and they're trying to review your evidence of your life? Step 4: verified miracles. To reach the next stage, a miracle needs to be attributed to prayers made to the individual after their death. In this step we have catholics praying to the dead, which the Bible prohibits. Step 5: canonization. Canonization is the final step in declaring a deceased person a saint. To reach this stage, a second miracle needs to be attributed to prayers to the dead. But, this process isn't set in stone because the pope can change the requirements anytime he wants to. I guess to fit the agenda of the RCC. Since we are talking about saints, did you know that there is a catholic tradition of burying a statue of Saint Joseph in your front yard right before you are going to sell it for good luck. St. Joseph Home Seller Kit Saint Joseph, Patron Saint of Carpenters, Happy Home, you protected and provided for the Holy Family. Aid this family's sale of their home. In this kit, you will find: St.Joseph pewter Statue, Protective Plastic Bag, Story of burying the St. Joseph Statue, Instructions to use the statue, and St. Joseph Prayer Card. Sure looks like idol worship to me. Not surprisingly, none of the steps to sainthood are mentioned in the Bible. So let's see how the Bible defines a saint. The New Testament uses the word saint 67 times. Here are a few of them. Romans 1: 7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 1 Cor 1: 2 Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours: Eph 4: 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Notice that all these people being addressed as saints are alive, not dead. The word saint is never used for a special group of believers who serve God better than the others. Scripture is clear that all christians who are alive are saints. So, if you are a sincere follower of Jesus Christ, then you are a saint. You don't have to die and follow five steps to become one like the RCC teaches. The catholic sainthood process is a man-made tradition of the RCC that is found nowhere in the Bible.

Catholic Mistake #24
Purgatory
According to the catholic encyclopedia, purgatory is a place or condition of temporary punishment for those who departing this life in God's grace are not entirely free from sins or have not fully paid the satisfaction due to their transgressions. In other words, in catholic theology, purgatory is a place that a christian soul goes to after death to be cleansed of the sins that had not been fully satisfied during life. Here it is from the catechism: 930 All who die in God's grace and friendship, but still imperfectly purified, are indeed assured of their eternal salvation; but after death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven. 931 The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final pruification of the elect, which is entirely different from the punishment of the damned. The Church formulated her doctrine of faith on Purgatory especially at the Councils of Florence and Trent. THe tradition of the Church, by reference to certain texts of Scripture, speaks of a cleansing fire. As for certain lesser faults, we must believe that, before the Final Judgemnt. there is a purifying fire. He who is truth says that whoever utters blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will be pardoned neither in this age nor in the age to come. From this sentence we understand that certain offenses can be forgiven in this age, but certain others in the age to come. 932 This teaching is also based on the practice of prayer for the dead, already mentioned in Sacred Scripture. Therefore [Judas Maccabeus] made atonement for the dead, that they might be delivered from their sins. There are 7 extra books in the Catholic Bible which protestant churches consider historical but not inspired. They are not included in the Protestant Bibles. Two of these are Maccabees 1 and 2. They were written about events that happened around 167 BC. They are not considered as part of the Old Testament by Jews and not part of the New Testament by Non-Catholic churches. Catholics believe that Jesus' death on the cross was not enough, not sufficient to purify them of their sins. Does this match up to what the Bible says? Isaiah 53: 5, 1 John 1: 7, Colossians 1: 14, Col 2: 14, 1 Cor 15: 3 And let us not forget about the thief on the cross. Luke 23: 43 I'm sure that all catholics would agree that the thief had unresolved sins that needed to be purged in purgatory. It appears that Jesus thought otherwise. If the thief needed to go to purgatory, Jesus would have said this instead: Verily I say unto thee, today you shall go to purgatory for an undisclosed amount of time to undergo purification. But, it's clear that Jesus didn't say that because the thief was going to heaven that very day. If catholics need to burn off or purge themselves of sins, then why did Jesus have to be scourged, whipped, kicked, bloodied, and sacrificed on the cross for our sins. If purgatory was necessary, then Jesus died for no reason. If purgatory was a real place, then Jesus might have said something like this instead: I am here to teach you that sin is bad and that you should humble yourselves and try to be a good person. And when you die, if you still have sins left, you yourself will have to purge them in purgatory, not me. Jesus' sacrifice made on the cross covered all sins or it would have been pointless. Purgatory is a man-made tradition of the RCC that is found nowhere in the Bible. Actually, the RCC classifies two types of sins: mortal sins and venial sins. Purgatory was to erase the lesser sins called venial sins. I just recently found out that there is a purgatory, but not like the RCC identifies it.
Before Jesus's death and resurrection, Old Testament saints who died in faith were believed to go to a place of comfort, often referred to as "Abraham's Bossom" or "Paradise". This was a distinct area within the realm of the dead (Hades or Sheol), separated from a place of torment for the unrighteous by a "great chasm". Luke 16: 26 Christian tradition holds that after Christ's crucifixion, Jesus descended into Hades and proclaimed victory over death. It is believed that at this time, He led the Old Testament saints from Abraham's Bosom to heaven. They are now in the presence of God in heaven, having been liberated by Christ's redemptive work.

Catholic Mistake #25
The RCC and indulgences
Purgatory and indulgences go hand in hand. Here it is directly from the catechism: 1478 An indulgence is obtained through the Church who, by virtue of the power of binding and loosing granted her by Christ Jesus, intervenes in favor of individual Christians and opens for them the treasury of the merits of Christ and the saints to obtain from the Father of mercies the remission of the temporal punishments due for their sins. Thus the Church does not want simply to come to the aid of these Christians, but also to spur them to works of devotion, penance, and charity. 1498 Through indulgences the faithful can obtain the remission of temporal punishment resulting from sin for themselves and also for the souls in Purgatory. In RCC history indulgences came to be viewed as pardons to the individual who bought them, therefore one could theoretically buy their way out of purgatory. Indulgences were bought by the living to cleanse the sins of the dead, and some people even bought indulgences in anticipation of sins they had not yet committed. Many catholics today will say that selling indulgences was a thing of the past and is no longer. Really? In an article entitled " Buy your way to Heaven! The Catholic Church brings back indulgences" by Jason Cochran on Feb 10, 2009. In April 29, 2012 Jason Cochran In dailyfinance.com writes: These days, you can get a deal on anything. Even salvation! Pope Benedict has announced that his faithful can once again pay the Catholic Church to ease their way through Purgatory and into the Gates of Heaven. Never mind that Martin Luther fired up the Reformation because of them: Plenary indulgences are back. The New York Times reports that even though the Church officially broke with the age-old practice--you do something good, and the Church will help absolve you -- In 1960, the Pope has quietly reintroduced it. The RCC had technically banned the practice of selling indulgences as long ago as 1567. Indulgences are part of the Church's infallible teaching. This means that no Catholic is at liberty to disbelieve in them. The Council of Trent stated that it condemns with anathema those who say that indulgences are useless or that the Church does not have the power to grant them.( Trent, session 25, Decree on Indulgences). Trent's anathema places indulgences in the realm of infallibly defined teaching. But are indulgences biblical? Sorry, but No! You cannot bribe God. Paying money to the Catholic Church so that the dead will get out of an unbiblical and non-existent purgatory is sinful. You cannot pay for someone's way to heaven with money. Jesus paid the way to heaven with His own blood. The RCC teaching of paying for indulgences to get the dead in heaven is an insult to Jesus and the blood He shed. Money cannot be used to pay for someone's salvation. Indulgences are a man-made tradition of the RCC that is found nowhere in the bible.

Yes, we need a former Muslim to post Islam Mistakes #1-25.

What's the difference between muslims and different denominations that call themselves christians?

I've said before why so many?

They follow men, not JESUS just like muslims follow Muhammad!!

Islam foundation is their mistake.

They put JESUS equal to Muhammad.

They worship allah, their moon god.

JESUS made the moon.

Muslims just like the rest of us need to understand the only way to heaven is through JESUS. Believe, repent, get baptized in JESUS name to remove our sins and pray for JESUS to fill them with the Holy Ghost like HE DID HIS DISCPLES in Acts 2:4.

I ascribe denominations to the truth that the kerygma/GRFS should be every Christian’s creed, and only belief in this crucial truth should be viewed as a test for orthodoxy or heresy. As Paul wrote in Romans 10:9, “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Conversely, judgments concerning a person’s spiritual orientation or ultimate destiny should not be made on the basis of didachaic or secondary doctrines. (If any judgment is made, it should begin with a self-examination per Matt. 7:1&5, 2Cor. 13:5-8).

A major reason many Christians throughout history have not manifested the love and unity of God’s Spirit (Eph. 4:3) as well as they should is because of failure to realize this truth. If they did, it would free them to speak honestly and fellowship without becoming unduly upset about relatively minor issues. They would receive God’s blessing as peacemakers, who draw inclusive circles around people based on the kerygma rather than denominational lines between them due to didachaic differences. Jesus prayed for spiritual unity (cf. John 17:20-23, “May they be one…”). Thus, unity regarding the Gospel is more important than accuracy regarding doctrinal details.

Yea, I know R 10:9 Paul is speaking the his church and telling them to get out and confess JESUS or they will lose their salivation.

What good are we if we are not working for HIM and winning souls?

I asked you how to get rid of my sins so I can go to heaven, you never replied!!

That is my exact point, what's the difference between muslims not accepting how to be reborn, Acts 2:38-39 and those demonantions that just follow the book of Roams and leave out Acts?

Same thing.

Same as those who leave out Romans 3:21-5:1 (which teaches how to get rid of sin as I have replied many times) when reading Acts.

Do you know that Paul is speaking to one of his church's?

Yes, Paul is teaching the Roman church that Christ atoned for sins, so salvation is via faith in that.

How do you know how the Church got started?

Can you show me where Christ atoned their sins?

Whether it was the foundation of the book of Acts or faith alone.

Yes, we need a former Muslim to post Islam Mistakes #1-25.

The Truth about Muhammad
1) The messsage of Islam is intertwined with its messanger. Allegiance to one implies allegiance to the other.
2) Muslims who question Allah are usually tolerated by other Muslims, but questioning Muhammad is grounds for excommunication or worse.
3) Islamic theology has accorded him the title "al-Insan al-Kamil", which translates to "the man who has attained perfection".
4) Because of hadith and tradition, Muslim religion, culture, heritage, and identity all find their core in the person of Muhammad.
5) Muslims see an attack on Muhammad's character as equivalent to a personal attack on them and everything they stand for.
6) Islam comes from the same Arabic root word that means "peace". According to Muslims, the life of Muhammad reflects this.
7) According to Muslims, on the day that Muhammad conquered Mecca, Muhammad forgave meccans despite their horrific treatment of Muslims.
8) According to Muslims, the other battles Muhammad fought were all defensive.
9) According to Muslims, Muhammad knew about subjects like embryology, astronomy, and geology, knowledge he could have attained only if Allah had revealed it to him. However, there are problems with many of the Quranic verses that are obvious to physicians and other scientists. For example, The Quran 23: 13-14 reads, "Then we made him a sperm in a fixed lodging. Then we made the sperm a hanging (thing), then we made the hanging into a chewed (thing), then we made the chewed into bones, then we clothed the bones with flesh, then we developed it into another crreation, so blessed be Allah, the best of creators." The verse explains the sequential development of an embryo, but the sequence is incorrect. An embryo does not first become bones to be later clothed with flesh. One layer of an embryo, the mesoderm, differentiates into bone and flesh at the same time.
10) The Quran: 9.5 But when the forbidden (four) months are over, then fight and kill the (distrusted) pagans wherever you find them, and catch them, attack them, and stay waiting for them in every stage (of war); But if they repent, and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity, then make it easy for them: Verily, Allah is Often Forgiving , Most Merciful.
11) The hadiths ( stories, sayings, rituals and traditions attributed to Mohammad) were written 200 to 250 years after Muhammad. From Muhammad to that time the stories were passed down orally.
12) Almost everything Muslims know about Muhammad comes to them orally, rarely from primary sources.
13) Unlike Christians learning about Jesus from the Bible, the Quran has very little to say about Muhammad.
14) The earliest records of Muhammad's life expressly admit that they have intentional alterations.
15) Muhammad's first biography, "Sirat Rasul Allah" by Ibn Ishaq comes down to our day only through the transmission of a later biographer, Ibn Hisham.
16) In his introduction, Ibn Hisham explains that he altered the story of Muhammad's life. "Things which it is disgraceful to discuss, matters which would distress certain people, and such reports as [my teacher] told me he could not accept as trustworthy--all these things I have omitted." Found in Ibn Hisham's notes; Guillaume, Life of Muhammad, page 691.
17) The hadith Sahih Bukhari consists of 9 volumes that almost all Muslims consider the most historically authentic.
18) In the first volume, the third hadith, Muhammad's first revelation in the Cave of Hira, instead of recounting that the angel simply asked Muhammad to recite, Muhammad reports that " the angel caught me forcefully and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it anymore." Each time the angel asked Muhammad to recite, the angel applied unbearable pressure. After his encounter with the angel, Muhammad returned to his wife terrified, his "heart beating severely."
19) Volume 9 hadith 111 (9.1110 describes the same event. It said that when Muhammad saw Gabriel, his "neck muscles twitched in terror," and when Gabriel had gone for a while, the Prophet became so depressed "that he intended several times to throw himself from the top of high mountains and every time he went up the top of a mountain in order to throw himself down, Gabriel would apppear before him and say, ' O Muhammad. You are indeed Allah's Apostle in truth, whereupon his heart would become quiet and he would calm down."
20) In Volume 1 hadith 24, Muhammad says , " I have been ordered by Allah to fight against people until they testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's Apostle, and offer the prayers perfectly and give the obligatory charity...then they will save their lives and property from me."
21) The previous statement (#20) contradicts the Quran's clear statement that "there is no compulsion in religion."
22) Volume 1 hadith 25 says that the greatest thing a Muslim can do after having faith is to engage in jihad. As if to clarify what kind of jihad, Sahih Bukhari clarifies, "religious fighting."
23) In Guillaume's, Life of Muhammad, the translator used Ibn Hisham's abridgement of Ibn Ishaq's Sirat Rasul Allah. On page 676 Muhammad ordered a warrior to assassinate a mother of five, Asma bint Marwan. She was breastfeeding a child when she was murdered, her blood splattering on her children. When the assassin told Muhammad he had difficulty with what he had done, Muhammad showed no remorse.
24) In Guillaume's, Life of Muhammad, page 464: in the aftermath of the Battle of the Trench, Muhammad captured and beheaded over 500 men and teenage boys from the Jewish tribe of Quraya. After the Muslims killed the men, they sold the women and children into slavery and distributed their goods among themselves.
25) This account is also found in both hadith and sirah (biographies).
26) Islam commands Muslims to have no more than 4 wives at a time, Yet Mahammad had at least 7 at one point. The Quran 33;50 says Muhammad had special privilege.
27) According to Sahih Bukhari, volume 7, hadith 62.64, 62.65, and 62.88 and Sahih Muslim 8.3310 and8.3311 Aisha was 6 when Muhammad married her, and he consummated the marriage with her 3 years later, when he was 52.
28) Muhammad had been poisoned; on his deathbed, he felt as if the poison was killing him; he had black magic cast on him. Sahih Bukhari volume 3 hadith 47 verse 786 (3.47.786). Also 5.59.713 and 4.54.490.
29) He revealed versus he later admitted had been from Satan. Guillaume's Life of Muhammad pages 165-166.
30) He tortured people for money. Ibid.,515
31) He led an attack on unarmed Jews. Sahih Bukhari 1.11.584
32) He caused his adopted son to divorce so he could marry his daughter-in-law, Zaiab. Quran 33.37; Sahih Muslim 8.3330; Tabari volume 8, pages 2-3
33) He told people to drink camel's urine. Sahih Bukhari 8.82.794; Sahih Muslim 16.4130
34) In the 1940s Martin Lings, an English scholar who converted to Sufi Islam, wrote an internationally acclaimed, comprehensive, and authoritative account of the life of Muhammad the prophet. The title of the book is "Muhammad: His Life Based on the Earliest Sources" It has been published in12 languages, and has received numerous awards, including acknowledgement as best biography of the prophet in English at the National Seerate Conference in Islamabad. The conference was attended by Muslim clerics from around the world. The chapter titled "The Threshold of War" seems to say that it was the Muslims who were the first aggressors against Mecca after Muhammad had migrated to Medina. Muhammad sent 8 Muslims to lie in wait for a Meccan trade caravan during the holy month. Even though this was a time of sacred truce for Arabs, the Muslims killed one man, captured2 others, and plundered their goods.
31) Most Muslims have a copy of the Quran but have never read any of the hadiths themselves. What they know about Muhammad is what they hear orally from a person called an Imam who leads them in prayer to Allah and tells them sugarcoated stories about Muhammad.
32) How can a man like Muhammad be a prophet of God? He certainly wasn't a man who had attained perfection. I hope this helps you understand what kind of man Muslims ignorantly glorify.

33) All of this information comes from a book written by a devout Muslim who converted to Christianity, Nabeel Qureshi. The title of the book is " Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus.
