Propylene glycol is a common alcohol added to juices and processed American food products. It can also damage the liver. It sounds like your country uses ethanol.

I don't get into biochemistry on the forum, but will provide a practical application you might find helpful.
Carbs are converted by yeast into alcohol. Then they are converted to fat. People get that distended beer belly as the result of a fatty liver. As liver function declines, the other organs suffer.

Take away is this:
1. Be mindful of carb intake Under (40% is good for most)
a. Starches
b. Beverages
c. Fruit
2. To improve IF not in a compromised condition, make consistent small easy changes.
That way you won't feel overwhelmed and give up as easily. Set goals for weekly grocery shopping and write it on the planner/ calendar and list.
Changing beverage choices to quality water is the best start.
The one I use is the best investment I've ever made. I received the best benefits for the least money.

Curious why this is in Bible Discussion? I guess the question is “What does the Bible say about drinking alcohol?” 🙄
The first miracle of Jesus was to turn water into wine at the wedding feast of Cana. His mom said that they ran out of wine.

The point is that He made the best fermented wine ever! Normally, they give the best wine first and then the cheap wine is served after everyone has drunk well.
The master of the wedding states that they saved the best wine for last…..(this was the wine Jesus made out of water—- the best fermented wine ever)! Mazel tov

It was most definitely choice wine.

Could it be that the first wine served was the best because it wasn't spoiled, fermented? Six water pots of stone would have been about 72 to 162 gallons of wine, which would have got everyone drunk that was there. If this wine was fermented, then Jesus broke the law and was a sinner. We know this is not so because our Lord is sinless and that Jesus made new wine, which is grape juice.

Leviticus 10:9 "Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations: 10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;"

Habakkuk 2:15 "Woe unto him that giveth his neighbour drink, that puttest thy bottle to him, and makest him drunken also.."

H all.... "God in their bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20) so drinking alcohol is sinful behavior. "

Not to offend but.. did you read this? Verse 18-19 "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own"

You not the sweet Holy Spirit but you added "so dinking alcohol is sinful behavior". You oddly in all this wonderful stuff you posted it was.. left out in Eph "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit," yes wine is alcohol.

Still some quoting OT which..which was said to Israel under living be the law and not posting Eph "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit," I have no clue here but were not talking Liquor as in 60-90 proof.

Just the AI quote "Wine in Jesus' day was significantly weaker and typically heavily diluted with water, resulting in an alcohol content of roughly 2.75-3% " Others real people say the same thing.. really diluted with water. And no lol it was not grap juice.

I read some quoting Leviticus 10:9 which reading the original "“You and your sons are not to drink wine or other fermented drink whenever you go into the tent of meeting, or you will die. This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come,: Now back up before that and He said "The LORD then spoke to Aaron, saying"

Yes KJ which I love like other translations does say "do not drink" Again what did the verse before that say? "The LORD then spoke to Aaron, saying". So what did Christ do wrong again? And He would know better then anyone would could done and not :)

You are not even thinking logically! Nobody in their right mind would praise someone for bringing out grape juice at the end of the wedding! Poor fermented wine, yes, but never grape juice! Lol
Grape juice wasn’t drunk back then, it soured quickly if not fermented properly. People did get drunk on wine, not grape juice! Too much sugar!!

Aside from that, the following verse refers to priests on DUTY; otherwise they all drank fermented wine:

““Do not drink wine or intoxicating drink, you, nor your sons with you, when you go into the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations,”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Habbakuk refers to a Woe to the wicked. There is no one forcing our neighbors to drink into drunkenness.

Story of Jesus and His disciple enjoying wine in Cana:

-"Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding. And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, "They have no wine." His mother said to the servants, "Whatever He says to you, do it." Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece. Jesus said to them, "Fill the waterpots with water." And they filled them up to the brim. And He said to them, "Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast." And they took it. When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom. And he said to him, "Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!""
John 2:2-3, 5-10 NKJV

Yes, all the verses you would ever find that are seemingly against is about drunkenness, not drinking.

It’s not true about the alcohol content, because there was a problem with drunkenness; hence all the verses about drunkenness!

In Scripture, the Hebrew word IS used for fermented wine.

-"No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach’s sake and your frequent infirmities."
I Timothy 5:23 NKJV

Only the last 200 yrs was there a prohibition against drinking—- somebody added to His word.

The bible states that the first miracle of Jesus was to turn water into wine at a wedding.

Of course, the wine was fermented. There are many passages in the bible that says to not get drunk on wine. For sure, you can't get drunk on grape juice, so the wine was, well it was wine.

Regardless of the amount of wine the six jars contained, there was no mention at all about the number of guests attending the wedding or the period of time that the wine would be consumed. Additionally, it does not state at all that the entire six jars were entirely consumed.

That part of Leviticus you quoted says to not to drink wine when going into the tabernacle of the congregation. Jesus and his mother were not going into any such tabernacle so that quote is really irrelevant.

Who in the world would ever serve grape juice at a wedding instead of alcohol? That is ludicrous.

Exactly, what law did Jesus break? The answer is none.

Theres many reason why people drink alcohol, have you ever drunk it ?

Do you know what it's like for alcoholics to stop drinking ?

Well it's not easy. Just one glass and you could get addicted

Do you know anything about beating food addictions well that's just as hard to

Do you know anything about beating any addictions ?

The taste of alcohol is what does it really, its like packet food the brewers of alcohol put other ingredients in there products to make it more tasty.

The taste can drive you bonkers, and also in just some types of packet foods to, that when you go without that taste your brain goes into depression. It's like telling some one you can no longer have juicy saturated burger to bite into.

It's the same for alcohol the adrenaline the brain can produce just from the taste Alone is mind blowing. Then theres the high carb content in alcohol which get you craving sugar as well, and taste, as well as alcohol as well, as a happy boosting adrenaline to relieve all those addictions all at once flooding your brain,

So you end up switching to sugar free alcohol like brandy and coke which is mind blowingly delicious as that's carb free

Then you do your best to make a bottle last longer but it's impossible as other people in your house will drink it before you do.

But saying all this I haven't had one single drink of alcohol in two weeks at least now.

And when I do have one I don't do any harm to anyone as I mad
Make sure I have one when im feeling happy but not when I'm annoyed or sad . Ive already done 3 whole months without a single drop this year.

I'll also make sure I have other things with the drink to make me even more happy when I have one. So I'll book a restaurant 1 week in advance and get really happy about feeling really happy looking forward to a romantic meal thats full of aphrodisiacs, as when the aphrodisiacs kick in and send your hormones bonkers having a drink on top that send the Braun into overdrive as i bite into lovely cooked meal, well deserved to after a working hard all week I tell myself.

Food and drink are on the same plain. Some people have a hard time with either one. Eat and drink in moderation.

or as they say after a drink cheers.

No but seriously are you classed as a alcoholic if you have only two glasses a day. Because that's double the recommended limit

That's what I've been told.

I have no idea? Food and drink have different effects on different people.

I’m so sorry to hear about your struggles, perhaps addiction. When it comes down to this you just have to say no to whatever is causing you problems.

Look to the Lord for help; He is never far from any of us, just ask in prayer for His help. He loves you, Jordon! Just ask Him…..

no im not suffering any addiction, I probably haven't had any major addiction in my life.

The hardest addiction I ever had in life was going on a controlled food diet for 6 months. But only the first month was hard

Alcohol wise I would say a bit of addiction now and again but I've never been big drinker and those times when I was drinking more than once a week it wasn't enough to ever stop straight away without any issues apart from one time when i drank whiskey every night for 2 weeks, and I started getting really mad when I wasn't getting one during the day at work so I stopped straight away but that was in my teens.
