No, Mose did not turn into an ungrateful evil person. The hiss is there in the riddle to show who he was following.

I tested this with two 18-year-old boys. They solved it very quickly, without using a computer nor a phone. It ultimately comes down to how well you know the Old Testament.

I will give one more hint: it is a king found in the Books of Chronicles.
 
We're not invested enough in the game to dig through 1&2 chronicles. I'm barely invested enough to go dig up my kings of israel and judah cheat sheet and that says that the most likely candidates are : Jehoshaphat (he did have that promise from above going for him), Joash, amaziah, azariah, or Jotham and about the only ones of those I can tell you anything about are joash and jehoshaphat. Is it possible you study the kings more in Finland than we do here in the US? One thing I have learned is that implying that those who engage with you and can't figure out your riddle are stupid or inferior is going to make people stop engaging with you realy quickly.
