No they do not save you/.

But they do prove you to be in error

Your confused because you want to add your work of righteousness to your salvation. You expect God to save you based on a work you did.

You failed to read the words of paul..

rom 4: 4 Now to him who works, the wages are not counted as grace but as debt.

I mean if you want to work. feel free. I will wish you luck

So we are saved by grace no one has to do anything and everyone goes to heaven now.

I like your style, but do you think it's true?

the same way your saved.

By grace through faith. not of works lest anyone should boast

Because of grace every human ever born is going to heaven.

Ok then.

Why does GOD'S word speak of Hell?

Luke 13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

Matthew 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Hell is everlasting fire.

Matthew 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Mark 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Revelation 20:7,
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

This is a wild assumption on your part. Jesus regularly told his disciples that he was going to be killed and then resurrected from the dead. Furthermore, he told them that this kingdom would not appear until his second coming.

Luke 18 = Pre Death & resurrection

Luke 18:
31 Then he took unto him the twelve, and said unto them, Behold, we go up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.

32 For he shall be delivered unto the Gentiles, and shall be mocked, and spitefully entreated, and spitted on:

33 And they shall scourge him, and put him to death: and the third day he shall rise again.

34 And they understood none of these things: and this saying was hid from them, neither knew they the things which were spoken.
(MY NOTE: Jesus is still alive here: The Holy Spirit "HID" > this revelation/his coming death & resurrection, from their understanding)

Luke 24: Post/Death & resurrection - """Understanding Revelation"""
Luke 24:
45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,
(MY NOTE: It's here, post resurrection, when their understanding is being revealed)

46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

Acts 2 = """Understanding Activation"""

Acts 2:
2 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
(MY NOTE: The Holy Spirit outpouring is where HIDDEN truths begin to be revealed/activated)

So we are saved by grace no one has to do anything and everyone goes to heaven now.
lol. Show me works in the gospel according to Jesus and paul.

John 1: 11: 11 He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. 12. But AS MANY AS HAVE RECIEVED HIM, to THEM he gave the right to become children, even TO THEM WHO BELIEVE 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. (no works)

John 3, FOR God so loved the world he gave his only son that WHOEVER BELIEVES (trusts) in him will NEVER PERISH, and LIVE FOREVER (eternal life) for the son was not sent to judge, but that the world might be saved, he who BELIEVES is NOT CONDEMNED, he who does not believe is condemned already (no works)

John 4: 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will NEVER THIRST. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into EVERLASTING LIFE” (no works)

John 5: 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he whoever HEARS MY WORD and BELIEVES IN HIM WHO SENT ME who sent Me HAS ETERNAL LIFE and SHALL NOT COME INTO JUDGMENT but HAS PASSED FROM DEATH TO LIFE (No works)

John 6: 35 And Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. HE WHO COMES TO ME shall NEVER HUNGER and he who BELIEVES IN ME shall NEVER THIRST (NO WORKS)

John 6: 37: and THE ONE WHO COMES TO ME I WILL BY NO MEANS CAST OUT 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. 39 This is the will of the Father who sent Me, thatof all He has given Me I SHAL LOSE NOTHING, but SHOULD RAISE IT UP ON THE LAST DAY. 40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that EVERYONE WHO SEES AND BELIEVES IN HIM MAY HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE AND I WILL (NOT MIGHT) RAISE HIM ON THE LAST DAY (NO WORKS)

John 6: 47 Most assuredly, I say to you, HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME HAS EVERLASTING LIFE. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead. 50 This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that THAT ONE MAY EAT OF IT AND NOT DIE 51 am the living bread which came down from heaven. IF ANYONE EATS THIS BREAD HE WILL LIVE FOREVER (NO WORKS)

John 6: 63 It is the SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE ; the flesh profits nothing. THE WORDS THAT I SPEAK to you ARE SPIRIT AND THEY ARE LIFE (SIGNIFYING THE BREAD FROM HEAVEN, THE FLESH AND BOOD ARE THE WORDS JESUS SPOKE. NOT THE PHYSICAL FOOD OR WORKS,)

EPH 1: 13 In Him YOU ALSO TRUSTED , after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also ,HAVING BELIEVED YOU WERE SEALED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT OF PROMISE 14 who IS THE GAURANTEE OF OUR INHERITANCE until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

THE INHERITANCE HE SAID WE ALREADY HAD IN THE 1ST 12 VERSES. (AGAIN, NO WORKS)

eph 2: 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses,MADE US ALIVE together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and RAISED US UP TOGETHER , and MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For BY GRACE YOU HAVE BEEN SAVED (A COMPLETED ACTION) THROUGH FAITH , (AS MANY AS HAVE RECIEVED) and that NOT OF YOURSELVES ; it IS THE GIFT OF GOD, 9 NOT OF WORKS LEST ANYONE SHOULD BOAST (NO WORKS)

rom 4: 3 For what does the Scripture say? “ABRAHAM BELIEVED GOD AND HE ACOUNTED IT TO HIM AS RIGHTEOUSNESS.” 4 Now TO HIM WHO WORKS, THE WAGES ARE NOT COUNTED AS GRACE BUT DEBT (Works cancels out grace. and makes it a wage) 5 But TO HIM WHO DOES NOT WORK but BELIEVES ON HIM WHO JUSTIFIES THE UNGOLDY , his HIS FAITH IS ACCOUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS (AGAIN NO WORKS. PERIOD)

rom 4: 16 Therefore IT IF OF FAITH THAT IT MAY BE ACCORDING TO GRACE , so that THE PROMISE MAY BE SURE TO ALL THE SEED not only to those who are of the law, but also TO THOSE WHO ARE OF THE FAITH OF ABRAHAM , who is the father of us all (AGAIN, NO WORKS, IT IS OF GRACE THROUGH FAITH)

Rom 4: 23 Now it was not written for his sake alone that it was imputed to him, 24 but ALSO FOR US, IT SHALL BE IMPUTED TO US WHO BELIEVE IN HIM WHO RAISED UP JESUS OUR LORD FROM THE DEAD , 25 who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was RAISED BECAUSE OF OUR JUSTIFICATION (AGAIN NO WORKS)

Rom 11: 6 And IF BY GRACE, THAN IT IS NO LONGER OF WORKS, ; otherwise GRACE IS NO LONGER GRACE.But IF IT IS OF WORKS, THEN IT IS NO LONGER OF GRACE. OTHERWISE WORK IS NO LONGER WORK (AS i HAVE SAID NUMEROUS TIME, GRACE + WORKS = WORKS.. GRACE AND WORKS CAN NOT MIX IN THE AREA OF SALVATION. ITS LIKE MIXING OIL AND WATER)

2 Tim 1: 9 who HAS SAVED US (A COMPLETED ACTION) and called us with a holy calling, NOT ACCORDING TO OUR WORKS , but ACCORDING TO HIS OWN PURPOSE AND GRACE which was GIVEN TO US in Christ Jesus BEFORE TIME BEGAN (AGAIN, NO WORKS. BUT GRACE)

Titus 3: 4 But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, 5 NOT BY WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS (GOOD DEEDS) WHICH WE HAVE DONE , but ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED US through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 that HAVING BEEN JUSTIFIED BY HIS GRACE we should become HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE
(AGAIN, NO QUESTION HERE. PAUL LEAVES NO QUESTION. NO GOOD DEED CAN SAVE US,. WE ARE SAVED BY GODS MERCY, AND GIVEN THE HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE. WHICH IS PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN

Titus 1: 2
in HOPE OF ETERNAL LIFE which GOD WHO CAN NOT LIE PROMISED BEFORE TIME BEGAN

this is what our faith is in, the grace and mercy of God. not our deeds.

I like your style, but do you think it's true?
I just take the word as what it says. and try not to pick a few verses out of context to form my view of what the word says

so it appears I have you unable to answer basic questions and you can not refute mine, so now you are reporting to mocking and bearing false witness.

Confusion about the Gospel arises because God's requirement for salvation is stated more than 100 ways in the NT
(cf. Part VI of Lesson 2 in our website). I have boiled them down in the elaborated kerygma as follows:

4. Thus, every person who hears the NT Gospel needs to repent and accept God’s grace or justification in Jesus as Christ/Messiah the Lord or Supreme Commander (Luke 2:11, John 14:6, Acts 16:31), which means trying to obey His commandment to love one another (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:35, Rom. 13:9)—forever (Matt. 10:22, Psa. 113:2).

5. Then God’s Holy Spirit will establish a saving relationship with all who truly accept/love Him (Rev. 3:20) that will eventually achieve heaven after Christ returns at God’s resurrection of all saved souls when everyone cooperates fully with His will (John 14:6, 17&26, Rom. 8:6-17, Gal. 6:7-9, Eph. 1:13-14, Heb. 10:36, 12:1, Jam. 1:2-4).

However, it is difficult to say everything at once and in the proper order, because "then" in #5 is at the point of repentance in #4 from hating God when His HS indwells and empowers loving, so the wording needs improvement. I will work on that.

I just take the word as what it says. and try not to pick a few verses out of context to form my view of what the word says

All of HIS word is true.

So it's true to you all you need to do is read and believe those verse and your going to Heaven?

Nothing is required to be reborn, don't have to repent, nothing just read those verse.

After reading those we don't have to do anything for him either?

Aren't you picking a few verses and taking them out of context?

so it appears I have you unable to answer basic questions and you can not refute mine, so now you are reporting to mocking and bearing false witness.

GOD will not force us to take faith?

What questions did you ask?

I just shared HIS word and asked you why does GOD speak of Hell.

You are right.

"Confusion about the Gospel arises because God's requirement for salvation is stated more than 100 ways in the NT"

The confusion starts since you left out the foundation, the beginning of the book of Acts the building of the church.

Where the foundation was laid after JESUS ascended.

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Why did you do that?

You are right.

"Confusion about the Gospel arises because God's requirement for salvation is stated more than 100 ways in the NT"

The confusion starts since you left out the foundation, the beginning of the book of Acts the building of the church.

Where the foundation was laid after JESUS ascended.

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Why did you do that?

Why do you falsely accuse instead of learning that repentance is in #4, which connotes forgiveness of sins.

All of HIS word is true.

So it's true to you all you need to do is read and believe those verse and your going to Heaven?

Nothing is required to be reborn, don't have to repent, nothing just read those verse.

After reading those we don't have to do anything for him either?

Aren't you picking a few verses and taking them out of context?
so you can not show me in ANY of those passages where works are required? (if you could you would)

Then I rest my case.

Salvation is by grace through faith,. not of works.

So not everyone is going to heaven because of grace we need faith alos, faith in what?

GOD will not force us to take faith?

What questions did you ask?

I just shared HIS word and asked you why does GOD speak of Hell.

Why do you falsely accuse instead of learning that repentance is in #4, which connotes forgiveness of sins.

Because just like Water baptism is a totally different thing than spirit baptism.
Water baptism is something we do to get rid of our sins, being filled with the Holy Ghost is what JESUS has to do.

Repenting and forgive sins are two different things.

Repenting is truning and going away meaning going to another place.

Having sins taken away is being baptized in JESUS name.

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Notice REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED.

Not repent and you are baptized, or repent and your sins are goon.

your teaching a works based gospel my friend.

Your attributing the work of your pastor to the work of the HS which is blasphemy

so you can not show me in ANY of those passages where works are required? (if you could you would)

Then I rest my case.

Salvation is by grace through faith,. not of works.

The problem is and why your sins will never be forgiven is you think that being water baptized in JESUS name to get rid of your sins is a work but it's a commandment.

So when someone is being baptized who is working?

The person who is obeying and getting baptized?

The person who is doing the baptizing?

Or is it JESUS who is the one who sees a person obeying and being baptized and forgivig their sins?

You say we are saved by grace and faith alone, I ask you how do you get rid of your sins?

What else did my pastor say?

You don't like Acts 2:38 my pastor like me has repeted it but neither him or I wrote it.

FYI, works will not save you.

After you have been reborn, repent, baptized in JESUS name to get rid of your sins and JESUS FILLED you with HIS spirit then we have to work for him to stay saved.

No I do not think, I know

God commanded the jews to get circumcized. it was a work

He commands us to get baptized, it is a work
He commands us to do many things. they are all works. God does not set one work aside and say this is not a work

So when someone is being baptized who is working?
When a jew got circumcized. who did the work?

The person who is obeying and getting baptized?
The person who is doing the baptizing?
The one who did the circumcizing?

Actually it is the HS when he immerses you into christs death, where your sins are washed away in the washign and renewal of the HS *titus 3)

You say we are saved by grace and faith alone, I ask you how do you get rid of your sins?
Not by works, lest anyone should boast.

It circumcision was classified as a work even though no one circumcised themselves. water baptism is no different.

your stuck on your perverted view of acts 2.

again, I showed you many many passages.. all you have to do is show me where works or baptism is required..

failure to do so will hurt you not help you

Your ignorance of other NT teachings on this subject hinders our agreement.

So glad you say we are born in sin, thank you.

WE CAN'T GET RID OF THEM???

Funny, you know this verse and yet you say we can't get rid of them??

Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

1. what do you think of those? If they don't apply now tell me how and where you get your information.

You say,
"Death of this body. When we rise up from this dead body at the point of death, THAT is when we are free from this body of death."

2. Can you share where your getting your information? From HIS word? Please share it.

I'm a little confused, you told me how we get rid of our sins above then the question was if we don't have to why not.

Is Paul telling his church they don't have to get rid of sins? I sure don't see that.

The thief, there is a right answer.

3. when did the thief die and when did baptism in JESUS name start?

FYI, I don't speak of my pastor, I ONLY SHARE HIS WORD.

3 questions please.

There's nothing funny at all about it. You, by your own strength cannot get rid of your own sins. If you could, then Christ died in vain. So please clarify how you think you can get rid of your sins. We are redeemed and cleansed, but we don't get rid of our sins in the sense of the common understanding of that phrase ology.
