All of HIS word is true.
So it's true to you all you need to do is read and believe those verse and your going to Heaven?
Nothing is required to be reborn, don't have to repent, nothing just read those verse.

The confusion starts since you left out the foundation, the beginning of the book of Acts the building of the church.
Where the foundation was laid after JESUS ascended.

Because just like Water baptism is a totally different thing than spirit baptism.
Water baptism is something we do to get rid of our sins, being filled with the Holy Ghost is what JESUS has to do.
Repenting and forgive sins are two different things.
Repenting is truning and going away meaning going to another place.
Having sins taken away is being baptized in JESUS name.
Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Notice REPENT, AND BE BAPTIZED.
Not repent and you are baptized, or repent and your sins are goon.

The problem is and why your sins will never be forgiven is you think that being water baptized in JESUS name to get rid of your sins is a work but it's a commandment.
So when someone is being baptized who is working?

There's nothing funny at all about it. You, by your own strength cannot get rid of your own sins. If you could, then Christ died in vain. So please clarify how you think you can get rid of your sins. We are redeemed and cleansed, but we don't get rid of our sins in the sense of the common understanding of that phrase ology.
