Sorry, I don't think I follow you, my fault. Truly accepting Jesus only comes as a result of salvation - it does not bring salvation. Until saved, we are dead in sin, unable to contribute in any way to it - we are helpless. Should someone become saved, from that, they come to faith in Jesus and accept Him as Savior. I believe everyone saved, became/becomes saved for the same reason -simply because God had chosen them unto salvation from before the foundation of the world.
sorry didn't mean to confuse you I was just btt confused by what I've been reading, not just here but else where.
It's Just im not sure when spiritual circumcision of the heart started to take place in the old t.
I understand God knew who would be spiritually circumcised before the foundations of the world, but what I can't fully grasp is of what point that would have started to take place in the old t.
A part of me believes it could have been as long ago as Adam and eve.

Sure there are. Maybe @Magenta can list them again. There is no scripture which states a person cannot respond positively to the Good News and must be regenerated first.

Could it be that all FWers are actually the same person? That would mean that it's 20 to 1 in our favor!HeIsHere has had multiple IDs over the years and yes, been here for many years. And she is here much of the time pushing
her views, but she still has told us she is not invested, which of course I am not buying, not even for a second...
Why don't you quote the whole verse...that you might have LIFE IN HIS NAME.“believing ye might have life.”
not
“having life ye might believe.”
John 20:31

No free will mentioned anywhere there. You have been deceived. The point is the order.
Believe first >>> Regeneration second
You know the logical, coherent, moral order Jesus taught.
