Didn't answer the question. What exactly is spirit baptism???

First. Know what it is not.

Moses and Samson included, who received enabling by the Spirit, did not experience Spirit Baptism.

Spirit Baptism was something entirely new and different that God has assigned for the Church only.

On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice,
“Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me,
as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”

By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive.
Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

John 7:37-39

Spirit baptism produces what in us?

We have the Spirit indwelling us permanently.
The Holy Spirit who wants to live through us by means of knowing Bible doctrine.
And, to share our lives with us as we grow in grace and knowledge.

Hope that helps some...

grace and peace, GZ

I know you were not asking me, hope this helps.

Acts 1:1 The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach,

2 Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:

3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.

5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 2:33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.

You really don't know? o_O 1 Corinthians 12:13 sums it right up.

You need help. Which church do you attend? All believers are baptized by one Spirit into one body/the body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12:13) But not everyone speaks in tongues. (1 Corinthians 12:27-31) Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret? The answer to this rhetorical question is NO.

When you're baptized into Christ
Precious friend, Excellent! Now, for the rest of the story, to answer:

1) is it water alone ( taught by some )?

2) is it God's Operation and water ( married together by others )?

or:

3) Under God's Grace, is it not God's Operation of ONE [ Spiritual ] Baptism Alone,
Into The Body Of Christ, Simultaneous With "
Cleansing By The Precious BLOOD"
upon simple and humble belief, faith, and trust On Him?

It's clear JESUS has not filled you and I need help?

The church I attend follows HIS word.

John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

JESUS says you CAN'T ENTER WITHOUT IT.

Mabey you should look at what HIS word says startig with the scrptures I shared and the ones you don't like like this one.

Acts 2:38-39
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

The PROMISE IS FOR YOU, it's up to you.

For sure you don't like ALL of HIS word if you did you would accept the book of Acts.

You should look how 1 Corinthians 12 starts to understand the rest of the chapter.

1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant.

He is speaking about what happens AFTER YOU GET THE HOLY GHOST and what comes with it.

When he is speaking about not all speak in tongues he is speaking about IN A CHURCH SETTING.

Which church do you attend?

FAC It's a Pentecostal church.

No way would I attend a church and pay tithes to it when they don't follow HIS rule book and where the pastor is leading people to Hell.

All of their blood wouldn't be just on the pastor hands but mine too.

It's our job to keep the pastor in check with HIS word, if it don't line up tell him or leave.

Question for you does that CHANGE HIS WORD?

I figured it was a Pentecostal church. I even suspected Oneness Pentecostal.

Have been told you are not saved yet?
He sits on the throne of judgement.
Ouch said he attends FAC which is a Pentecostal church. I presume that FAC stands for First Apostolic church. I did a little research:

We DO NOT believe in the trinity.
We believe in one true ever-living God, holy in attributes and purpose, and infinite in power. This One true God has revealed Himself as Father in creation, in the flesh as Son in redemption, and in the Holy Ghost, which was poured out to his church in Acts chapter two. Jesus Christ is the image of the invisible God (Col 1:15-19). "For in him dwelleth the fullness of the godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him..."(Col 2:9-10).
We believe that the scriptural Bible standard of full salvation.
...repentance of sins, baptism in water, by immersion in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of sins, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance (John 3:5, Acts 2:4,38). We believe in living a holy life unto the Lord. We must be holy because God is holy (1 Peter 1:15-16). Simply stated, holiness means thinking as God thinks, loving what he loves, hating what He hates, and acting as Christ would act; which involves separation from sin and worldliness, and dedication to God and His will.

First Apostolic Church of Garland - Our Beliefs

This sounds very similar to Oneness Pentecostal.

To have redemption through His blood is to have forgiveness of sins and sins are forgiven when we believe in Him/place faith in Him for salvation. Still don't see it?
Christians most certainly "see" it.

What we don't "see" is the alone part of your assertion. You are clearly pushing Faith Alone Regeneration Theology yet like many of its followers (which I was once) cannot point to the key and crucial aspect of your claim.

Can you not see this?

The words "alone/only" are definitive and as such are absolute adjectives. There is nothing in your defense of these verses as being definitive. You simply assert that they are.

Christians can certainly see that the Bible clearly states in many passages of scripture that we are saved through belief/faith "apart from additions or modifications." (Luke 7:50; 8:12; John 1:12; 3:15,16,18,36; 6:40,47; 11:25,26; Acts 10:43; 11:17; 13:39; 15:9; 16:31; 26:18; Romans 1:16; 3:24-28; 4:5; 5:1; 10:4; 1 Corinthians 1:21; Galatians 2:16; 3:6-9, 26; Ephesians 2:8; Philippians 3:9; 2 Timothy 3:15; Hebrews 10:39; 1 John 5:13 etc..).

Now you don't need to add the word "alone" next to "belief/faith" in each of these passages of scripture in order to figure out that the words, "belief/faith" stand alone in connection with receiving eternal life/salvation. Hence, FAITH ALONE. Do these many passages of scripture say belief/faith "plus something else?" Plus works? NO. So then it's faith (rightly understood) in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

*Not to be confused with an empty profession of faith/dead faith that remains "alone" - barren of works (James 2:14-24) which is not genuine faith but a bare profession of faith.

Can you see this?

it's interesting that those who reject that we are saved by faith through grace will deny that they are saved by works.

What other alternative is there if we are not saved by faith?

Such irony.
What you cannot see is that your addition of "alone" is the modification.

Everyone of them???

All 30+ verses you quote are definitive and all-encompassing in nature but not even one of them is written in such a way?

Not even one? Do you not see the absurdity of your assertion?

So all of these verses are absolute because mailmandan says they are?

I sincerely doubt you read other parts of the Bible with this line of reasoning. I also doubt you can function as a mailman with this reasoning as well.

What other alternative is there if we are not saved by faith?

Saved by Christ's faith (not ours) through God's grace, both being imputed freely as a gift to those chosen (by Him) unto salvation.
If coming to faith of ourselves were a requirement to becoming saved, then it wouldn't be by grace.
But that is not to say we don't come to faith/belief because we do, but it occurs as a result - a byproduct - of salvation, not the means to it.
