Do you beleive in
Jeremiah 8:8 I’m quoting the
bible?
Ok, but remember you just said you'd tell us what parts of the Bible lying scribes wrote.
The answer is absurdly easy.
In Jeremiah 8, the Lord is pronouncing a series of rebukes. In verse 8 He says,
“How can you say, ‘We
are wise,
And the law of the Lord
is with us’?
Look, the false pen of the scribe certainly works falsehood."
NOWHERE in that passage does it even slightly hint that these "lying scribes" were writing Scripture! We can speculate on what they WERE writing if ya like, but it CERTAINLY wasn't any part of the Bible.
Could you also help with the difference in the MT & DSS below – which one is correct?
8:6 MT (Masoretic Text) reads: "Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him."
DSS
6 You shall keep the commandments of Yahweh your God, to walk in his ways, and to love him.
