No doubt a record is being kept, of those against His will and those for it. Many documented videos of God's protection and defense of Israel with outright modern day miracles, only those in darkness can't see or believe them. If it wasn't for Almighty Abba watching over Israel, the haters would have erased God's designated nation and people long ago. To God be all the glory for His glorious magnificent ways and plans✝✡
There are many documented videos of man & money protecting this state, and then others romanticizing and embellish it calling it "God's miracles". Money isn't God's, it's "ceasar's" (i.e., man's). This is why a thorough and complete study of the scriptures is paramount before venturing into any eschatology, because if we don't fully understand The Almighty's ways we will fail to distinguish His acts from the acts of others.
For example, The Almighty is a jealous God who doesn't want to share ANY credit for what He alone does. This is one of the core characteristics of the Eternal One. So if there will ever be a question of who contributed to a victory He sets the stage so that there will be no doubt:
- He told Gideon to reduce his army from 32,000 to just 300 (Judges 7)
- He chooses the smallest of all nations to display His Glory
- He choose the weak to shame the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27)
...because He alone wants the Glory.

Now, at no point in modern history has the current state of Israel ever been the weakest millitary compared to any arab nation. Many people compare land masses, see that Israel is the smallest land mass, and then project weakness onto them ("oh look at how whittle Israel is compared to how big the muslims are..."), but that's not how millitary strength works. Israel has ALWAYS been the strongest millitary in the region upon its founding and I defy you to provide proof to the contrary.
They had the backing of the USA and Great Brittain and had the most committed millitary units than all arab nations combined. Today they have the most advanced war technology and defense capabilities, and a millitary budget that dwarfs their neighbors (thanks to the endless stream of free money that most western nations give them)....oh, and they have nuclear weapons.
They are the goliath of the region not the david. So far they have provoked a war with each of their neighbors in the past 2 years, claiming some unsubstantiated harm that justified it, while they commit tanks, jets and bombs against Hamas fighters hiding in caves (leveling every building across the entire landmass of Gaza just to kill people with no military).
When you know The Almighty ways, and I mean truly know them, you'd see His hand isn't in their military conquests because at no point does any of it need to point to Him.

If "Israel" is already under the protect of the Lord why do they need the Lord to come rescue them? And if they need the Messiah to come rescure them, are they currently under His protection in any way?

It may interest you to know that the word propaganda is short for the Latin phrase, "Congregatio de Propaganda Fide," which translates to "Congregation for Propagating the Faith." In other words, propaganda means "to prophesy".

In the Book of Revelation, the False Prophet is a key entity working with "the Antichrist" to deceive humanity during the end times. This is why I happen to believe the USA is this entity, because it was the first to perfect the mechanism of propaganda...but again, this is from my Historicist POV.
I see the marching of the nations against Israel in the future. What you have till today are not those event from what the bible says.
When the dust settles, there will be no doubt who rescued Israel! The Word says so, and Israel will know and acknowledge it.

You do, surely GOD didn't help them, even with accounts of Arabs who said they saw ABRAHAM shaking his head at them no when about to kill a small group of Israeli army men, then dropped their rifles and ran. You and the others who side with another religious belief system could care less about God's will for this region. Too bad your group couldn't be planted in one of these nations that tried to take out Israel in 1948 and see how well you fit in. Who knows, you just might enjoy it

Not credible in the least because no army can approach Israel as long as it has nukes. This is why the armies of the kings of the east go no further than the Euphrates River. But once Israel is destroyed by nukes the lord will return with his resurrected holy ones to battle and destroy the armies come against them at Armageddon

It's an anachronistic doctrine that is stuck in the past when large armies fought each other face to face. Those days are over. Wars are now fought with missiles and drones at a distance.
