Right what’s in the Old Testament is according to what god said to them in that covenant

And what’s in the new is new and not the same as the old it’s the new thing he promised to do later , in tbe old

awe have to acknowledge both covenants , both identities old and new to grasp the Bible’s testaments. There’s two of everything and the second is always what is eternal and lasting

each covenant word rules the world at the time it was given and until it is fulfilled ….cain is the firstborn man of this current world the firstborn of adam but it was abel who chose the good and was accepted by God .

And cain who then after he was firstborn of Adam ….of this world …..chose the evil and killed his righteous brother and was cast out from gods presence and fellowship and became no longer recognized or acceptable.

We need to be “ born again “ a second time ……into the new covenant dying with Christ to the old and being raised up with him to the gospel and also by the gospel

jesus is the firstborn and has not begotten son of God remember Jesus was born of a virgin ……

adam was created as was eve and cain was born to a father and mother.

In the ot if you refused to acknowledge your earthly father it would have been a huge insult and even a serious sin. One of the commandments was to honor thier father and mother. Because it’s a different covenant God sees the world through and by the covenant he’s made with them .

the covenants have totally different promises literally worlds apart.

Maybe someone needs to start a thread on the covenants...

But he was in the Bible though right ? He was the first man ever born on earth correct ?
He was the natural firstborn, but like in other cases, some of which you mentioned, the natural firstborn was rejected by God from being the firstborn and one chosen by God became the firstborn who inherited God's promises. So it is by God's election, not physical birth

Even Adam in a sense was a rejected natural "firstborn". Then the son of man was chosen by God to enter back into his presence. First the natural, then the spiritual.

What does this have to do with being left behind as you mentioned in your other post? Are you referring to a pre-trib rapture?
No, he did not say that. He said this:

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until [the time] come when ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Luke 13:34-35
Afterwards that was fulfilled by a believing remnant on his entrance into Jerusalem for the last time

And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed [be] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. Luke 19:37-38
Where do you get these conclusions?

According to Luke 13:33-35, Jesus was two or three days away from Jerusalem when he pronounced judgment on the city and said it would not see its king until it said Blessed is he that comes in the name of the lord. That happened a few days later as he was descending the Mt of Olives towards Jerusalem as stated in Luke 19:38.

I'm sorry But this is in error. When Jesus stated this he yet again was addressing the pharisees and scribes who told Jesus to quiet the crowd.
He refers to there house to be left desolate...... 70 ad .....
Jesus lifts his hedge of protection from the temple. Jesus holding them accountable for the rejection and upon the generations.
What happens when we reject God?
The pharisees were the law and order of the jews appeasing the roman authority to keep the peace. Instituting the law to govern over the people.

Believe what you want. He directly addressed Jerusalem.

@Gideon300,

sorry that last part isn't true. DNA was only used after the war because of lack of documentation usually (genealogical records and rabbinical letters) are used for immigration. Today only in rare cases is DNA test required.

Yes, God did command the Israelites to maintain genealogical records. This was especially important for:

  • Inheritance rights
  • Marital eligibility
  • Service in the Temple (for priests and Levites)
Maintaining genealogies was a key requirement in the Torah (see Numbers, Ezra, and Nehemiah), and intermarriage with other peoples was forbidden unless specific conditions were met. Genealogical records were used to confirm tribal affiliation, particularly for the priestly (Kohen) and Levite tribes, as their roles and privileges depended on documented lineage.

These records were meticulously maintained and passed down, sometimes recorded in family books called Sefer Yuchsin (Book of Lineage). The importance of genealogy is also reflected in the many biblical genealogies (the "toledot" or generations) and the detailed lists found in books like Chronicles.
Thanks for the clarification.

There are some who doubt the role of Israel in God's plan and purpose. If that is so, perhaps you can explain this from the book of Revelation.
Revelation 7:3-8
“Do not harm the land or sea or trees until we have placed a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.”

And I heard the number of those who were sealed, 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel:

From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000, from the tribe of Asher 12,000,
from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000, from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000, from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, and from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000.

Also Romans 11: 25 & 26.
I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob.

These things are obviously future. God is not done with Israel yet.

It is noteworthy that the tribe of Dan is not included in the 144,000. God rejected Dan because they allied themselves with the Philistines instead of conquering them as God had commanded. That compromise caused great trouble for Israel later on. We do well not to compromise with God's enemies.
After watching this thread for a bit.....It is amazing to watch. Israel and believers get BASHED.

I have spoken no evil to you.
Why is it you want me to be banned?
Please explain it to us?
You are hateful. Don't pretend you didn't go snooping. You don't speak to me again. Faker.

I am not surprised. Some Christians, a minority, take portions of God's word and ignore the rest, leading to error. The world is under the control of Satan, who blinds their eyes to the truth. There is a spirit of insanity ruling some of them. "Queers for Palestine"? They've been told that Islam mandates the death penalty for homosexuality. Yet they still persist in their support. Europe allows vast numbers of Muslims in and punishes those who object. So much for free speech. I expect Britain to be the first to come under Sharia law. It's well on the way now.

Psa 118:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.

Psa 118:2 Let Israel now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Psa 118:3 Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Psa 118:4 Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever.

Psa 118:5 I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, and set me in a large place.

Psa 118:6 The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

Psa 118:7 The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

Psa 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

Psa 118:9 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Psa 118:10 All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

Psa 118:11 They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

Psa 118:12 They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

Psa 118:13 Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

Psa 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

Psa 118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

Psa 118:16 The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

Psa 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

Psa 118:18 The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

Psa 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD:

Psa 118:20 This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

Psa 118:21 I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

Psa 118:22 The stone which the builders refused is become the head stone of the corner.

Psa 118:23 This is the LORD'S doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

Psa 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Psa 118:25 Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

Psa 118:26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

Psa 118:27 God is the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

Psa 118:28 Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Psa 118:29 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Question....are the nations destroyed yet that hate Israel?

But yet the Jews desecrate on Jesus.
And are makers of porn and all sorts of vile evil.
And there are more gays in Tel iv than anywhere.
