in a given year's time, how much time, on the average, does a person spend deleting ads & unwanted posts?

no, not a tattle tale story, just a story. a couple of weeks ago, i visited a musician friend & an antique dealer friend. nobody else saw me except those two. by course, we all dress up in work or old clothes, especially when antique hunting, which could have holes in them, spots or tears. i came home & my wife said, "you shouldn't go out like that, we have a reputation to keep up, there's too many people that know us, we don't want people talking about us". i told her, "no one saw me, besides, it's nothing to dress up about". she wasn't having it. what are your thoughts? thank you.

Easier to cut a deal when wearing old clothes?:)(y)
for some, yes. people choose to wear the worst clothes you'd ever see to look poor to make a deal. that's true. i've seen some super cheap people & guess what, they are rich! i know of a guy so frugal he died of malnutrition in the 80's & he had $60,000 in the bank! just today, really, i was talking to a guy who is a millionaire & he wouldn't reduce a price on a 2007 truck! but there's more than that, he told the guy, 1st, he would GIVE him the truck then recanted later.

Southern, yeah, but polished. The way he says “insurance company” tells me that he has been working on his accent to make it sound more neutral. Then again I think I heard a confederate “a” in the first vid.

 On a second listen he does say “insurance company” more polished.

Here’s a counterpoint
