Critter time!

You did something with your braininess, You found biblical creationism and you get to share that with others. I NEVER met anyone with that as a passion. No one has intellectual conversations over here. Tons of people live the superficial life where they project themselves a certain way out in the world but most likely they hide all of their suffering when they go into their home.

The only time I had an intellectual friend was the pastors son who discipled me and showed me the tech world that I got to explore for the last ten years. He could come up with inventions that never existed and like a few years later someone would invent it. He never gave up on me after I went to the mental hospital in 2010. Their whole family treated me very well, as if they were a perfect family from God just for me. A year ago, I started getting more into scripture and realized he no longer had the characteristics of a godly friend after he got married. So I told him we can’t be friends anymore and ever since then we barely talk. He did have twins recently and I asked if I can see them when his brother visits in November but he still hasn’t responded: I still think because he grew up with me and knew about everything I was apart of that he thinks I’m going to do something out of my current character. It’s like he doesn’t want to believe that God can change a person. Last time I spoke to him he asked me why I waste my time with Jesus. So maybe he got a heart of stone now but ever since he said that I knew that God was telling me that it is time to move on. This is someone who told me “Jesus is lord.” Maybe he didn’t mean it in his heart and God saw through it. I don’t know but we had a weird dynamic, where it’s like he was an older brother figure to me and he treated me like the bad screw up brother all the time.

After I got a therapist a year ago, I traded him for the therapist and said bye to the relationship. I didn’t want to feel controlled anymore. It got to the point where I had to run every decision I had by him. Even telling me that his family may have to take care of me for the rest of my life. Funny thing is I would store cash at his house cause he said it was safe and one time he took all of my cash when he got married and moved to Missouri and he spent all of it, saying he needed it just in case… this was like a few thousand dollars that I forgave him for. I told his younger brother about it and he gave me the amount of money that was stolen. I have a relationship with his younger brother who is my age.

And you aren’t from the wrong side of the tracks cause I currently live on the wrong side of the tracks, even though my current neighborhood is technically safe but I live in Long Beach. This was or is gang territory. Compton is the next city over. This is the area where the early 90’s thug rap started. Snoop dogg, Dr. Dre, Tupac. There is tons of homeless in Long Beach, tons of strange people with severe mental illnesses. It seems scary but I can walk about and feel safe.

Everyone in Orange County use to call this place “the ghetto”

I’ve witnessed a prostitute in Compton just take a squat in the middle of a gas station while kids are walking pass while she is taking a leak on the asphalt. I’ve seen 8 year old kids handing crack cocaine that their parents told them to deliver to cars passing by from their houses. Just really dark stuff.
After my last message, the Herm got nearer to the cam and then disappeared under the house.

I probably should have mentioned that I was brainy in my youth. I went work to help my dad after I left school. I did not go to college.
Actually, I'm not sure what I would have went to college for. I don't guess I ever figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up.

My area doesn't sound that dark, but we do have our shootings, and lots and lots of drugs. One night, when dad was still alive, someone tried to kick the front door in. Dad hopped up quick and grabbed his 12 guage. He told me to get behind him, which I quickly did. I had my handgun. They weren't able to kick the door in. I guess those fools didn't think there might be something waiting for them on the other side. They even came back later. So, I have my piece by me at all times. I didn't have cams then, but I have 2 cams now. One shows me who is coming up the steps and the other is positioned toward dad's pickup truck. Btw, Fuzz Butt was just coming up the steps again. Fortunately, I mostly see critters on the cam.

I hope you'll always stay safe wherever you go.

Funnily enough, my dad got into 90s rap for a while. I remember us watching Snoop Dog videos, and Coolio, and Dre, and probably others I can't remember.

It's interesting how some of our closest relationships are often torn apart due to beliefs. It seems like a test sometimes. In 2014, I had gotten to know an individual online who lives in SoCal (I think he's in Palm Desert). We grew close, spent a lot of time together, talking on the phone and eventually on cam. But, he made the decision that we part ways because I would not reject the teachings of Paul, and I would not give up my belief in the Trinity. I chose my beliefs. It was oddly painful, but I didn't regret my choice at all. The teacher he follows is a false prophet. He calls himself a prophet and had predicted the end of the world...and of course the day came and went. The poor guy is still stuck in that cult. And while do not want to have a "relationship" with him again, I do hope he realizes one of these days that he's following a false belief. I think he believes Christians are of the devil. I had to separate myself.

We are blessed who choose the Lord.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one on the wrong side of the tracks. Here, the eastside is where the more well off people are. There is a big difference in how the eastside looks and how the westside looks. And it's separated by a river.

Btw, I'm glad you are on the wrong side of the tracks now...I'm thankful to have bumped into you!

I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m with my family who loves me unconditionally, instead of people who constantly want to control me.

I also discovered that people on that side of the tracks are way evil. Giving their kids alcohol at young ages and throwing teen parties fueled by alcohol and sex, while the parents just supervise and even enjoy it. Doing everything they can to make sure their child is the most popular by letting their spoiled children do anything they want, even their own destruction. Plus, the police are too afraid to convict the kids because their parents are apparently “powerful” because they have money and status. So basically the police officers will be in more trouble than their children if the teens get arrested. The world is strange but if you ever win the lottery, Villa Park is a really quiet town with no street lights. It’s a very small town also, surrounded by the city of Orange.

I peaked into another thread about wallets and felt like I was missing out on the fun.

I don’t understand how certain Christians fall for all of that. I’ve blindly followed Jesus for a really long time but the church that I go to is Christ-centered and believe the whole Bible.

I went to a bunch of community colleges but I still don’t have enough classes completed that was enough to say that I completed a freshman year. I pretty much only took elective classes that I wanted to have fun in, like fine arts and computer science. I also retook a math class that I already completed in high school but wanted to retake it as a refresher to see if i still got it.

Palm desert is far in the middle of nowhere.

We have a few cameras also. Hopefully you remain safe there. I hear people do some strange things over there to people’s house, including breaking in. I don’t want to worry though cause I think worrying could be considered a sin.

Orange County and Long Beach are basically separated by the 605 freeway

When I was six I told my 1st grade teacher I wanted to be a video game programmer. I only attempted to create a few games but failed miserably. I was better at android mobile apps but even that I didn’t go far.

There seem to be a lot of extremes in your area. I've been in just about every area of my city. The dangerous area of town, the eastside blue collar area, the upper eastside, and the rural areas. I lived in what I call the upper eastside for about 2 years. I lived with a teacher. She was and still is an "old maid." I lived with her, her mother, her sister, and her son. This was from the time I was 9 until the time I was 11. She taught me how to be refined. Not that I didn't have manners before I lived with her, but I certainly had manners afterwards and I often feel out of place over here on the westside.

I never was drawn to parties. I'm more of a quiet person. I'm more at ease out on a hiking trail or at a flea market on a Saturday morning or strolling around some garden somewhere or in a peaceful cemetery or with a stack of books (preferably Biblical Creation books). Even the word party seems stressful lol. Speaking of Biblical Creation books, I purchased and read Starlight & Time by Dr. Russell Humphreys. Before reading the book, I already believed God is all powerful beyond my imagination. But that book blew my mind. It's a very brainy book, but it's really amazing too.

I only have skills enough to keep a computer going. I was dad's computer repair person lol. You have much more skills than I do.

Thank you for pointing out some of my strengths. You seem to have a very great skill: making changes in life and moving forward toward a better life. I feel there are smashing things ahead for you!

You say smashing. Do you have an English accent?

Also, because I lived in Orange County all my life till I was 26, there is still apart of me that is still there but before I left, a lot of people asked me if I was from NorCal cause I was so different than my friends.

I learned what a functional family was when I moved into the pastors house for a few years.

For some reason even though I say no to parties or clubs or bars, I went to a party when I visited my aunt in Spokane Washington earlier this year and I just sat down at a table and talked to a miserable guy about Jesus. When we went to a bar, I talked to the same guy about Jesus. When we went to a club, I talked to a lesbian that claim she was a believer for like an hour and shared with her my faith. So if I do go into any dark situation like that now a days, I make sure I’m there for the right reasons, cause those places are known for only the wrong reasons. Instead of drinking alcohol, I would have a non alcoholic beer to blend in. Found out a lot of dark things about my aunt that I wish I didn’t know about but alcohol for her was like a truth telling drink.

I’ve lived in almost every city in Orange County. Between the ages of ten and twelve, we lived in motels while my mom dated a speed dealer while she did meth and was a stripper. That really effected me.

You are impressive. You have a gift. You sound like a patient and forgiving person.
I like non-alcoholic beer. Since it's not at the nearby stores, I usually get regular. Yes, once in a while I have a beer. I think I've had 4 beers this year, so far. I don't think that's very many.
I lived with my grandparents in my teen years. They ran a bar and I actually liked going in there before I was a teenager (not to drink, just socialize). As a teen, I became more quiet. I wanted to study or be out in the woods. My grandparents thought something was wrong with me.

I enjoyed seeing your pictures!! So, you have a beard? Sorry...I couldn't help myself...

I stumbled on the vegemite conversation but I didn’t look at the vegemite video. I currently do have a beard that I try to maintain. It’s a little thin but because my dad can’t grow a beard, I figured I’d just annoy him every time I come over while having a beard. He always tells me to shave my face and my hair cause I have a receding hairline but I look weird without hair. I’ve gotten so used to the beard and I cut my own hair with a buzzer. I basically buzz the sides and the back and have it a little longer on top and use pomade to slick it back.

I think because my aunt lives in a dark world because of her decisions, I made it my goal to be a light, making sure I chose the best possible decisions while I was there. I did give in to micro dosing on mushrooms though cause she convinced me that it wouldn’t be anything crazy and that it would just get rid of anxiety cause I didn’t want to go anywhere at first while i was there but she was correct that it didn’t do anything crazy and that it lessened my anxiety, so I do give her that. When I told my sister and her husband when i got back to California, I did get scolded for it.

I did drink wine three times this year. Once when I completed the entire Bible and 2 oz each day about a week ago but I learned that lesson. I get addicted quick, so I threw it out.

Do forgive me for mentioning it. I think your beard is very handsome. I think you are quite fetching. I hope that isn't received uncomfortably. I do apologize if it was.

I feel like such a square. I have no experience with mushrooms or just about anything else. I did smoke cannabis 2 different times when I was 17, both times with a member of my family. I have never smoked it again. I don't have anything against it necessarily, especially for medical reasons. It just isn't my thing.

No, I just thought you may want to go to sleep but I can continue talking.

Well thanks for the complement. According to my last date, not sure if she would agree but again, she was a completely different culture. So maybe she was expecting something else.

I use to smoke marijuana or eat an edible but last time I did it was the beginning of 2020 and it scared the crap out of me. I went into the bath tub and tried looking for razerblades to slit my wrists, I also a was a breathing deeply and thought I was one of the first people to contract COVID and when I was talking to a friend on the phone I thought I was gay. It literally scared me sober. I told myself I would never touch that stuff again!

I am glad that you like what you see. That I’m not just someone that speaks from the heart. I’m hoping that I do lose more weight though with the medication being weaned off. Plus, I can’t wait to set up this bench press set up in the backyard in order to honor God with my body again.

I've heard that a lot of cannabis is laced. Here we have tons of safe dispensaries, but otherwise it's concerning 'cause you never know what has been done to it. Also, some people are really affected negatively by it. I didn't feel anything at all. I know of someone who had a similar reaction as you. It's an interesting weed. Devil's lettuce.

Please never listen to anyone who says differently than what I said about your appearance. They have bad tastes.
Having said that, I think it's smashing that you want to improve your health. The Lord blessed us with wonderful bodies, it's a good thing to want to take care of your body. Attractiveness though, you're already blessed in that area ;)

I don’t want to be tempted by your desire to see more beard photos! But my mind almost went there.

I would say just stay away from all marijuana products. So many drugs now a days are laced with fentanyl and it can kill you first try. My sister was addicted to heroine only two years ago, ended up going from heroine to getting high on fentanyl. Her and her boyfriend were addicted. They met each other at a drug dealers house. Eventually both of them got kicked out of her apartment and thrown into the streets. They both got their cars and parked them in front of our house. They would not come inside and hangout for months. Just living in their cars and coming in to use the restroom and shower. We’d bring food out to them to eat. I made my sisters boyfriend coffee every morning. They got pregnant, my sister went to jail and immediately got into a program to get sober. In jail she went to church and found Jesus. Her boyfriend waited for her patiently but was still using and stealing stuff from stores. Eventually he just quiet cold turkey for the baby and got put on medication to rehabilitate that he ended up weaning off of. She got out of jail and had the baby soon after. A healthy baby boy named Jesse Chase DeWeese. What a name but they called him Chase. Jesse is also the fathers name. I talked to them about Jesus a bunch and told them my story of quitting everything cold turkey from the power of Jesus.

If there was anything I wish you'd be tempted by, that'd be it lol.

Have mercy on me.

I'm glad they worked on getting clean. I'm elated that Chase is healthy! You are clearly a positive force.

I have crazy family members. Twice I had a family member in the newspaper for crimes. My uncle broke into his ex girlfriends place, put her clothes on, waited till she came home from work, and attempted to murder her. Thankfully, she got away (she had knife injuries, but made it out alive). He was sent away.
Then my cousin was in the newspaper for abuse. Her boyfriend chained up her disabled son to a tree in their front yard. He and his friends abused the child. Horrible.
That's my mom's side. They are something else.
And they wonder why I decided to stick with dad.

I've been in the newspaper! But, not for bad reasons lol. I was chosen as Potpourri editor when I was a teenager (a book of poems and artwork at our high school), thus my pic ended up on the cover of the paper. Guess what was on the front of my shirt? An image of a Fuzz Butt lol. Always about them critters.

I'm not sure how I can go to sleep now after seeing your beard, but anyway...please don't let me keep you up!

I may have to go to sleep. Not sure if I’m needed today for work. I ended up writing a huge list of tasks that we got to work on that I’m just waiting for the green light on. She said she is going to add a bunch more products so I have something to work with. She has the next three days off of her job as a bartender during the day, so she said she was going to spend time on the website.

I do hope you will be able to sleep restfully. Thank you for letting me keep you up (I'm sorry I kept you up so long!).

I've been praying for you and I'm hoping your work goes well. You are a blessing. Stay safe and well ...and thanks for that posting that one pic ;)

My mom had probably the craziest life. She had multiple DUI’s until she couldn’t drive anymore for the longest time.

Have mercy on you! Haha

Critters seem to be a big part of your life being out there. Our critters hide from us during the day except for maybe squirrels.

My family didn’t have much criminal criminal activity. Except my dad nearly beating my mom to death. We ended up being picked up by my aunt cause my grandpa used my mom’s van to bail my dad out of jail. We went to a woman’s shelter for a while in Fullerton and then moved to Irvine for a couple years.

I mean who doesn’t want to feel like they can attract someone? Especially someone they get along with. I use to have that ability anywhere I went when I was younger but it was very superficial it was based on outer appearance instead of the heart, which God has taught me is wayyy more important.

That person I went on a date with may have been beautiful according to society but I found her so unattractive after the first date. When communication sucks, how are you supposed to make anything work? Our communication is too tier.

I didn’t want to reveal myself at first. I thought I would just be a mystery, just so we focused on the conversations. I just hope it’s not too much of a distraction cause I know how much the flesh can be a distraction to having meaningful conversations but I know we all crave some romance. Were human.

My mother didn't get into much trouble. She left me when I was 13, so that forever put dad above her in my mind. Even now after they've both passed on.
Dad didn't get into trouble either. Only one time. After him and my mother divorced and she remarried, he got drunk and crawled in a tunnel under the city and was yelling and making noises. He got arrested for public intoxication.

I think you look exceedingly better now. I think that looks can be important to an extent. I know they are certainly important to society.

Communication is incredibly important. There is a dating expert (he's a Christian) that says talking is a form of making love...he meant that the most well meaning way, btw. I think that it can be even deeper, words are so impactful. There are things I heard said years ago, that still stick with me (good and bad).

Communication, I'm so thankful...that's something I will be sure to mention in my prayers today when I am thanking the Lord for all that I'm thankful for...

Probably why we talk so long. For some reason I really love reading texts. It has grown on me over the years. I imagine the goodness from those people being spoken. Phone calls are nice too, I can definitely get lost in a phone call but I think video calls are on another level. I feel safe talking to my therapist on video call cause she is married but I have yet to have a video call with a date. I’d be too afraid to have a video call because I’ve gained weight since January but it is slowly coming down since I have been weaning off of the medication.

My brother admires my communication but also, I’m like a big kid too, especially from renewing my mind a bunch.

Both my mother and father abandoned me when I was 15. So i moved in with my friends family whose father happened to be a pastor. My mother was hooked on meth and stripping and we moved back into a motel after living with my aunt and in an apartment and I did not want to live like that ever again. So I told my friend I was going to sleep at the school and he invited me over. They bought a bunk bed that same week and i was there for two years.
