Well, like I posted a few days ago, it seems one of the reasons some people identify with Trump is because like him, they too engage in personal attacks, name calling, and overall nastiness.
Yes that is true,
A lot of nastiness, just go to any thread about Israel and Gaza.

Fox News, Breitbart, Zero Hedge, Info Wars create a mind set, Christians should really stay away even from these supposed right wing news sources, it seems to be making people very agitated.

Registered Independent my whole life.

If someone is trans, in the vast majority of cases it's none of my business because it doesn't affect me. Some conservative and liberal policies and proposals do affect me.
Oh yeah?
What conservative policies affect you? Because as i said earlier, for 30 years of my residence in US there has been zero effects in my daily life as to who is president.
The only thing that i have noticed in the last 15 years though, is that the left is trying to dilute and possibly enforce language.
In Canada, they almost made this law but Jordan Peterson went to their congress and shut it down because he applied too much .... logic and common sense.
So language dilution and confusion is the only thing that i have noticed and in some companies people were let go because they spoke with too much logic and common sense.
So, this is what i see as an independent. I also see Elon Musk as another balancer to the equation by taking over Twitter and removing bias.
What do you see as an independent?

I can't recall it off the top of my head at the moment, but there's a phenomenon where some people become hooked on being outraged and angry.

That, plus the prevalence of algorithms that have monetized feeding that addiction are a big part of why so many people are so angry.

Tax policies, federal spending, environmental policy, social security, Medicare, among a lot of other things.

Like I said, that's between the employer and employees.

What do you see as an independent?
In terms of what specifically?

Wow, all of these things affect you personally? And the one thing (assuming it's one) that could affect conservatives about speech control/dilution which mocks their senses in regards to a man in a dress, is something that you don't see as an issue? :D
And then you go back to your "employer loop" for which i said that the market might self-regulate and elect Trump?

I have to say that you might be in a bubble trying to communicate to people in other bubbles.
I don't think you're going to go anywhere with this approach if you can't even be humble enough and honest enough to recognize the faults of the left and the chain-reaction in social movements throughout history.

Of course. I pay taxes, I pay into and am close to drawing SS and Medicare for example.

If someone was proposing government control of speech like that, it would be an issue for sure. But I'm not aware of anyone doing so.

And then you go back to your "employer loop" for which i said that the market might self-regulate and elect Trump?
And?

If you have specific proposals or platform items you want to discuss, then let's do so.

Probably that if you're throwing your support behind a terribly immoral man like Trump, you've given up any ability to say that sexual morality is important to you.
Especially, that he showered with his daughter.

Oh? Wait! That was Biden... sorry.
:giggle: ..See how easy it is to lie about someone?

Why don't you go find something constructive to do?

:coffee: .........

jaybird, are you an AI bot?
How about weaponized 1st amendment breaking FBI agents/contractors (and/or other alphabet agency spooks) infiltrating & influencing a chatroom in an election year where the notorious and infamous Donald is a candidate?

Naaahhh. Couldn't be. Right? RIGHT???

Again you seem to be missing the point.
.

No YOU missed the point. Done going around the circle. Several claims made I don't believe anyway. This is now a new trend in America that every time a man runs for office, 20 women come out of the woodwork to say they were raped or assaulted. They did it to Kavanaugh, Herman Cain, Trump. They pay these women. On the other hand if it's on the Dems side they pay them to shut up. Unless you cross them like Cuomo and of no use to them, then out come the women again.

Trump is the by-product of a reaction from the idea that a man in a dress is a woman.
Not only that, but I must believe with him and also confess he is a woman. The be happy to share bathrooms and showers with said "woman" and allow them to take a womans place in the world. Agreeing that makeup, tampons and anything else feminine should be marketed toward them and their needs. Ridiculous!!!

I don't understand your point. Are you saying Americans should not have the freedom and liberty to live as they wish?
They were given the liberty to live as they wished, that wasn't good enough. Then they wanted gay wedding cakes made, and pastors forced to marry them, and gay porn read to school kids and drag queens reading to children while shaking their penis in their faces. They demand to be in women's bathrooms, showers and other private places. They want to be in womens sports. And they want us to agree with everything they believe they are. They demand to be called by certain pronouns and wait and see if you won't be jailed if you don't give in to their demands. That's the issue.

That's between the employee and the employer. If the employer says employees have to refer to trans people by their preferred gender, then people who can't do that shouldn't work there.
.
You're out of your ever lovin' mind. lol

Yes, perhaps you are thinking of "maddiction" ... cuts across all camps, seeking that dopamine rush.

No one is immune. However one can insulate themselves by by being cautious about what information they take in.
As well, there is always confirmation bias, that is why some of the posts sound like Fox News on repeat! lol

Obama - "stay angry"
Progressive leftist Bolshevik Democrat "dear leaders" are the worst offenders.

Scott Adams on X: "“To all the young people out there, as well as those of you who consider yourselves young at heart, I want you to stay angry. I want you to stay frustrated.” — Barack Hussein Obama https://t.co/6P7JtGVtRM" / X

Another sign we have a uni-party.

Having stated this the effects of the uni-party policies will be definitely be felt soon and very likely the next generations.

Usually the laws and processes of a nation function just fine regardless who is president that's why for me it's mostly entertainment because it has no changes in my real life or the real life of my family, extended family, friends or the whole damn state where i live in for that matter.
The only thing that has changed is that these rules and processes have changed a bit due to the left which is trying to dilute language. So they are the first to cause a reaction in the society.
But since there's so much money in USA, nobody has the need to start a revolution.
As the Greeks said "Democracy begins with a full stomach". So when the USA runs out of money, then people will learn math again and how to balance the budget. For now it's just Party Mode and throwing money away.
Unless you are physically or mentally disabled, there is no reason to be poor in USA. No reason. In fact a lot of people make a lot of money here doing useless positions which shouldn't exist and they make like $100K a year.
So when you donate money, you want to make sure you're donating to organizations or churches who help the physically or mentally disabled.
This is why it's literally meaningless as to who is president because society functions just fine on a day-to-day basis due to laws and processes.
In this election though, Trump is going to be the tool to balance the equation started from the left.

Ask yourself why "they" despise BOTH Trump and RFK Jr.
And then tried to knock them both off or out.

Will things change for the better? Maybe. Maybe not.
But its a decent start.

Furthermore, there seems to be little in the way of alternatives.
