I’m saying when he said “ he does believe in Limited atonement “ he’s meaning that just Jesus dying for everyone’s sins isn’t going to save everyone that they have to believe the gospel.
He’s basically saying what Paul said here
“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; by which also ye are saved,
if ye keep in memory what I preached ( his doctrine he preached for three years anong then ) unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
For I delivered unto you first of all ( just the first thing he preached to them ) that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
and that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: after that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.”
1 Corinthians 15:1-6 KJV
pauls identifying the foundation ( the first thing I preached to you ) of the gospel
Now what your saying when “they” continue to sin “ they are disciples of Jesus who came to save sinners who realize they are sinners
“Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners for to hear him.
And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.”
Luke 15:1-2 KJV
“For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: but if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”
Matthew 6:14-15 KJV
We all still fall short sometines but his word is full of grace towards us because he loves us so they are his disciples and will be judged by his ways look for the principles of his word in the gospel “what he’s actually saying “
“But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall be given into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. ( he’s talking about mercy , forgiveness , non judgement of each other )
And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but perceivest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.”
Luke 6:35-41, 46-48 KJV
Some People think the Ten Commandments are the law of liberty , what do you think James , a follower of Jesus was talking about ?
“So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.”
James 2:12-13 KJV
