Nothing "killed" them. They were expelled from the Garden and lived a long life having children and grandchildren and such. What the Scripture is teaching is once they ate the fruit and gained the knowledge of good and evil, both sin and physical death came into being. Their disobedience brought physical death upon ALL human beings.

As for their sin, to say it was unwillful is to say that Eve did not CHOOSE to give into the temptation the serpent presented to her. She very well could have told the serpent "no. God said do not eat this fruit, and I choose to obey my God." But the desire to "be like God" must have been very strong in her heart, because she WILLINGLY CHOSE to eat the forbidden fruit, and sinned against God by disobeying Him.

And, once again, you are playing the "questions" game. So how about you tell everyone "what killed them?" And be sure to use scripture.
Do you understand what this verse means.

If you eat from the tree of knowledge of Good and evil, you will die.

well according to scripture it is was because of something they ate.
Nope.

God said Adam had become like one of Him.
not mankind, and not Eve.

So it is definitely not by sin that Adam became like God.

Before Adam and eve fell God gave Adam and eve two laws

Don't eat from the tree of good.and evil

Man shall not live alone

Then men digested evil

And evil death entered in them and started to curse the law

Sounds like common sense to me.
Matt. 15:11 “It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”

Hello sips 😊 this is an examination of man's heart by law. 😊

As of the moment the question is

What killed Adam, was it the sin of unwilling disobedience or what man ate of the tree. 😊

Disobedience is disobedience.

Romans 2:12 (KJV)
[12] For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;

Willfully done or in ignorance, it is falling short of God’s standard.

What killed him? What was in his heart, lust brought forth sin and sin brought forth death. Christ pointed to we sin first in our hearts before the act. He said that if a man looks upon a woman to lust he had already committed adultery with her in his heart.

James 1:.....13Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: 14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. 15Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Why where they able to be tempted? If they can only be tempted when led away by their own lust. What was the root cause in their heart. Reverse engineer it, work it backwards.

Christ said if you love me you will keep my commandments. God asked Adam have you done what I commanded you not to do.

I John 2:...........15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

Work it in reverse and will find what was the cause.

This is from a friend that has spent years studying the underlying language of Genesis:
The tree of knowledge of good and evil was a physical tree in which God gave the choice to man of taking authority to decide for himself what is good and evil instead of getting his knowledge from God without experimenting. It was the power of choice. But man could decide that something was good or evil only after he experienced it, or he could choose to take God’s word for it. After man experienced evil, it was too late. The evil had come into him and produced death.
God knows good and evil without experiencing evil, because He is the Source of all good. Anything outside of God, Who is good, is evil. God knows evil intuitively, without experiencing it, because He created all good and the possibility of evil. Only God can intuitively know evil without experiencing it. Man is dependent upon God to know what is good and what is evil. God gave man the choice. He could choose to get his knowledge of good and evil by taking God’s Word for it, or he could choose to experiment on his own, which choice itself was evil because it showed a lack of faith in God. That choice inaugurated death into Adam and Eve. Man chose to experiment on his own.

This is the first time that we find the word to die in the Bible.

Translation: ...for in the day that you eat from it, dying, you will die.” Often, the doubling of a verb intensifies its meaning. Here, the meaning is intensified; but there are also two deaths involved. When Adam ate of the fruit of this tree, he died spiritually. However, down the road, another 900+ years, he would also die physically.

Quite obviously, Adam did not disobey this command—not for awhile.

So, your’e ignoring the obvious.
no your understanding is open to question

And secondly it is not your understanding.

I'm not going to say why your understanding is open to question at this moment.

As I'm waiting for a suggestion to make that hasn't been made yet.

Our father said if you eat from that trees you will die.

This means they didn't die until they ate from the trea.

What killed them.

Time for some dancing 🙂
