Here's one of my favorites.
Excellent script, plot, sets, costumes, history, cinematography, direction, props, soundtrack, acting and one of the most emotional movies ever made.
Two very pretty waterfalls too.

I can relate to Hawkeye's character .
Even Russell Means character was his best role . I made sure my martial arts students learned that choreography at the end.
Beautiful, heart felt ending with the tragic death of Uncas and his bride to be. Last of the Mohicans. Sometimes I feel like that too.

We popped balloons, used bags and milk jugs as targets with a 12 foot bull whip.
It was lots of fun. I never tried to dress like his character, but still have a felt Fedora, brown leather jacket and the whip we practiced with. I'm thinking about carrying it as dog repellent, but it's hard to conceal.

He's definitely one of the best native American actors. He played a very convincing villain opposite the main characters. The best heroes always had formidable villains.
That's pretty cool that he's from your area.
Right now I am watching another Korean drama, this one called Crash Landing On You, which is rated 8.7 on imdb; quite amusing.
Their comedy tends to border on camp, which I really enjoy.
My Demon was like that also, especially with two of the main
side characters (the assistants to the leads). Totally hilarious.
I love movies based on stereotypes because they’re always fun since there is some truth but this third installment was very boring.
They were trying to cram so many stereotypes in there and every scene seems very disconnected and weird, sometimes it seems not connected at all to the whole movie and you’re wondering “What the hell am I watching?”
And this is coming from someone who understands the culture and the jokes of the region there, but I fell asleep after half an hour so an American audience will fall asleep after 15 minutes I’m guessing.
The series (Crash Landing on You), though I mentioned the comedy of it, is not a comedy per se, but does
have humour in it of course, though it is a drama series, and quite well told and acted, with an innocence
not easily found in modern tales, even as there are villains and antagonists at the backbone of the story,
given that it is about North and South Korean differences... and how odd to see, juxtaposed against the
North's signs proclaiming how great and glorious their leader is, signs telling of how you will be killed
if you attempt to leave. So it is certainly interesting from that standpoint as well. Communism vs capitalism.
This sounds interesting @Magenta , to me at least who has lived in a communist society.
But what seems to be a turn off for me is that it's in Korean.
I would have to look at subtitles the whole time and i hate doing that. Maybe i'm old and tired now.
I realize that you could have dubbing in English but that still sounds weird especially with Asian movies where the words don't match the mouth shape and it goes longer than expected ... which turns the movie into a joke for me.
So i don't know. I would appreciate it more if i spoke Korean or if i knew more about their culture there.
