Well you'll have to take what the word says
First sentence, Believe, be baptised, and be saved, (two things).
Second sentence, Don't believe and be condemned.
Those are the words of The Holy Spirit in the bible.
Not mine.
So then to believe, you have to be empowered by the Holy Spirit, because notice the second verse, baptism is missing, which means if you don't believe you won't be baptised, and you will be condemned.
To deny this scripture is to deny the word of God.
To argue about this scripture is to save yourself.
So you would be better submitting to this scripture and believe it, 😊

I specifically said that grace was unmerited favor. Your skills need a serious upgrade .
True God circumcises our hearts. When does He do it?
11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism
I'm not aware of another verse that tells us we are circumcised by any other means.

In Acts 2:38, "for the remission of sins" does not refer back to both clauses, "you all repent" and "each one of you be baptized," but refers only to the first. Peter is saying "repent unto the remission of your sins," the same as in Acts 3:19. The clause "each one of you be baptized" is parenthetical. This is exactly what Acts 3:19 teaches except that Peter omits the parenthesis.
*Also compare the fact that these Gentiles in Acts 10:45 received the gift of the Holy Spirit (compare with Acts 2:38 - the gift of the Holy Spirit) and this was BEFORE water baptism. (Acts 10:47)
In Acts 10:43 we read ..whoever believes in Him receives remission of sins. Again, these Gentiles received the gift of the Holy Spirit - Acts 10:45 - when they believed on the Lord Jesus Christ - Acts 11:17 - (compare with Acts 16:31 - Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved) BEFORE water baptism - Acts 10:47. This is referred to as repentance unto life - Acts 11:18.
*So, the only logical conclusion when properly harmonizing scripture with scripture is that faith in Jesus Christ "implied in genuine repentance" (rather than water baptism) brings the remission of sins and the gift of the Holy Spirit (Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38; 3:19; 5:31; 10:43-47; 11:17,18; 15:7-9; 16:31; 26:18). *Perfect Harmony*

The thief on the cross died prior to the institution of the NT rebirth. How to experience the rebirth was revealed on the Day of Pentecost when Jesus shed forth the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:36-42) Jesus prophesied about this when He said, repentance and remission of sin (a reference to water baptism) would be preached in HIS name to ALL nations BEGINNING in Jerusalem. (Luke 24:47)
Those who believe in Jesus, believe all of the word. (John 1:1) According to Jesus, the word is what all will be judged by. (John 12:48) Jesus said He who believes and is baptized shall be saved. (Mark 16:15-16) And Jesus is the author of salvation to all those who obey Him. (Heb. 5:9)

Well done you've just dismissed being baptised with the Holy Spirit in water for a logical solution.

What is being "shed forth"? Did Jesus molt???
Repentance and remission of sin are not water baptism. If that was the case, all those baptized by John in the Jordan didn't need a Savior.
John 1:1 describes Jesus as "the Word", i.e., His state prior to becoming human.
John 12:47, "If anyone hears my words but does not keep them, I do not judge that person. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world."
=> The earliest manuscripts and some other ancient witnesses do not have verses Mark 16:9–20 <= Do you believe Mark 16:17-18, "And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”

Water baptism does not save you! If that was the case, all those people baptized by John had no need for a Savior, i.e., they were already saved.
