Even though the Elzevirs used this term, it was the 1550 edition of the Greek Text of Robert Stephens (Stephanus) which actually became the Textus Receptus. But the Textus Receptus goes all the way back to the 1st century as the traditional text of the NT (contrary to what you claim). The King James Bible is based predominantly on this text, but does have some very slight differences because the KJB translators were also looking at other texts.
