So Your dad's defense of his Doctrine is the same as Yours, "just make something up" that those who oppose You must be doing, like drinking raw bulls blood?
and there's me thinking you like meat 🥱

This Thread is a long read. It's more of a comedy than anything else. One side claiming you need to "hear," "follow," "abide." The other side saying they are "hearing," "following, "abiding." Kind of looks like the same argument presented in 2 formats. Are Christians really this petty?
I assure you this is far, far from what was intended when I started it. I simply wanted to present the teaching of the Security of the Believer. But you have to understand Grace first, and it is apparent (unfortunately) that some forum members do not understand Grace. But then, that is what the thread is for.

And, yes, there are many who claim to be "Christian" that are this petty. But it's not because they are "Christian", it's because they just want to win an argument (which is not Christian). Some people cannot bring themselves to have a methodical mature thoughtful conversation because they must win! They are too in a hurry to show off their superiority (they think) of their command of the Scriptures. And they end up losers in the process (and don't even know it). But don't be deceived, this is NOT what Christianity is all about.

You result to accusing me of doing something for disagreeing and then claim I need to be humble?

Look kid, You clearly have no idea what you're doing or you would not resort to making up things. You are basically lying. What biblical defense states when beaten resort to lying? It seems to be the one you hold onto dear life about.

I believe Your intentions are what You claim.

well no being humble is about grace and I wondered since we where having a conversation about sheep hearing his voice and following you may want to accept a peace offering.

The conversation was about hearing his voice. For some bizarre unknown reason the conversation went a bit wonky

OK then.

Let me ask a simple question. If what we hear Jesus say results into us following Him, isn't it obvious, we have heard Jesus give us a command?

Silence speaks volumes. 22 minutes of volume. It's a basic yes or no response. Who knew a career could result over such a decision?

Clearly you don't understand what "Protestant" means. It's short for churches that split from Rome during the reformation, primarily Lutherans, Calvinists, Methodists, and Anabaptists (e.g. Mennonites). Just because Baptists are against Rome doesn't make them "Protestant."
To be specific, Protestants are those who broke from the Roman Catholic Hierarchy, primarily Lutherans (Germany - Luther), Episcopalians (Church of England - King Henry VIII) [from which later came the Methodists - Wesley], and Presbyterians (Scotland - Calvin), from which came others. All of the state churches (in bold) persucuted the Baptists.

Reputable sources please.
My sources say they are Protestant.

The name “Protestant” reflects their dissent and protest against certain practices and doctrines of the Catholic Church during the Protestant Reformation.

The answer to this question is rather obvious. It is a command that we hear from Jesus that causes us to Follow Him. And look at the "reward" for obeying His command? 28 and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.
What an amazing gift we get for hearing and following His command.

I recall you found escalating arguments petty,

I also recall me saying there would be commands when his children hear his voice to you not long before you've repeated yourself

Are you in better place to talk about grace today ,🙂

I have kept the same tone all along. Odd how you would think otherwise. Probably being backed into a corner where You began making things up, writing lies, and then had to admit the obvious truth did seem like things had escalated to You. Guilt and shame will do that to You.

ok Mike,

Maybe I'll share with you some more soon, it would be best to if you where a little bit in a more receptive mood lol 😂.

But you know what mike there's is something about you that's honest, so for now I'll share the story about the Messiah warrior for Christ who drank bulls blood. But you have to wonder if Angus was being facetious 🙂

Yeah, satan teaches that God doesn't want everyone to be saved... in spite of evidence in scripture that proved this calvinist doctrine as being completely false.

Of course calvinists pick and choose what portions of God's Word they want to believe and ignore anything that doesn't fit in with their preconceived ideas as they always read in to scripture what they want it to say... rather than allowing the whole counsel of God to correct their faulty fake gospel. View attachment 258854

The Father sovereignly decided to make man in His own Image which is why all men have free will. He said in His Word than we are predestined to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ (Romans 8:29), and we are to be followers of God as dear children (Ephesians 5:1)

God's Word says man is without excuse (Romans 1:20), the grace that brings salvation has come upon all men (Titus 2:11-13)

God's Word says it's not God's will that any perish and He wants all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and He has commanded men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30), and has given every man faith (Romans 12:3)

Jesus said if He be lifted up He would draw all men until Himself (John 12:32), and Jesus has tasted of death for every man (Hebrews 2:9)

In light of all these scriptures, we can say for sure that limited atonement taught by John Calvin is false doctrine and is in opposition to what God says.

So... get ready to hear excuses from the dark side o0n why the scripture above should be ignored! View attachment 258855
You stupid person

Predestination and Election are Paul's doctrines. And are throughout the whole scripture.

But they relate to us being a people chosen in Christ before the world began to be a people for the praise of God's glorious grace, to be a people being conformed to the image of His beloved Son.

It does not exclude anybody from being saved. There is no predestination or election unto damnation.

Anabaptists. Not the same thing.
