correct its more than likely not so much about themselves but what others can do to get themselves cut of, the back to front part and the false premise is there questioning what a person may do to get themselves cut of but have no idea if such a person was saved in the first place. Or fail to recognise being cut of can mean left out in the cold for a while.I disagree. It's never about them being cut off. It is always about you and I being cut off. They are eternally secure. Not you and I.
The last resort is not something God takes pleasure in even for the wicked, God says as much in his word.
Im certain this would be even less pleasure for a saved person.
But time and time again we see the saved people being judged the same way as the wicked, it really makes me think like satan is fantasizing every time this topic is brought up.
