And that is precisely why they wanted a portion of Palestine for the nation-state of Israel. Unfortunately the Zionist Movement was totally secular, and Orthodox Jews were not too happy about that. But Muslim/Arab hatred for Jews has once again brought things to a Holocaust level. And on top of that all the so-called "liberals" are rooting for the terrorists. But American Jews should neve have voted for or supported Democrats. Yet they have been blind to the Leftist hatred which is now on full display.
So you don't believe anyone was murdered. You don't believe people had to flee from a peaceful festival. You don't believe there are hostages.
You obviously do not follow the news. Most of the Muslim world denies the right of israel to exist, let alone defend herself. Many other nations reject Israel's right to self defence. Even those who accept that right seek to hamstring Israel. No other nation would accept such restrictions. Why should Israel ? Who is up in arms over Turkey bombing Kurds? Where is the outrage over Russia's continual attacks on Ukraine's civilians? Oh, a word here and there, but nothing to bother Russia.
You still have no alternative solution, neither does anyone else. That's because there is none. Hamas cares less about Gazans than the Israelis do. One day you will see the truth. I hope it's not because Muslims attack your community as savagely as Israel was attacked by Hamas.
You can't help some people. The god of this world deceives them and they are beyond logic and reason.
Israel are acting as terrorists also. The leftists are just backing one set of terrorists/war criminals, those who support Israel back the other. Divide and conquer again, instead of - wait, let's punish all the terrorists, both Israeli and Palestinian (or other).
You know there are children in war zones all over the world. I have friends that are missionaries, my sister was able to go on the mission field. I don't hear people crying over those children here at CC. In fact, I don't recall the last time I saw a thread on missions. Very few churches have missionaries in, let alone support them. I attend a small country church that supports missions and has them in our church. I have never heard you, He Is Here, Fundy here, I have not heard nor seen a thread about children in war zones around the world and how vexed you all are about their lives. Seems a little lop sidded...
I find most of them are single young men. And they get their news from Tic Tok. They'll deny it, but the fact that they don't understand that they are as much an enemy in "Palestinian" eyes as the Jews are, shows they are low information voters. It's a pity, stubborn and will not listen to facts. As I said, I don't hear and have never heard these people crying about children dying in war zones around the world. Syria was gassing their own people, I don't recall these people screaming about the poor children and war crimes. Someone may be able to show me where I'm wrong, but I sure don't remember it. At this moment there are children stuck in war zones, but only the Jews are called terrorists when they defend themselves. smh

you where asking for us to see the bigger picture here based on this latest conflict, which I really don't see why you would escalate it that far, seeing as there's a conflict coming from Isreal every other year.
The old story of how bad the Jews where treated was a long time ago that can not be used as an excuse for the death of 5000 children in 4 weeks and all the other monstrosities Isreal as inflicted on the people of Gazza.
Neither can the excuse that some terrorist organisation struck first.

Your job as a Christian is to pray for peace in Israel and pray blessings for its people. You let God deal with the rest. Last time I checked you weren't Him.

You have no evidence that Israel is acting as terrorists. Terrorists target civilian population to terrorize innocents. Israel gave fair warning to all the civilians in Gaza to leave before they began their war against Hamas. On the other hand Islamist terrorists have been terrorizing innocents all over the world.
