Loved the Moody Blues. Taught myself many of their songs, and saw them in concert five times

Stevie Ray Vaughn opened up for them one of those times

It was an odd pairing

They got me into rock. Never was into any form of pop music until I heard and started to appreciate "The Voice". Within a couple of years I was into just about every Moody Blues album, not to mention the new-wave / post-punk movement of the early 80s.

Wow, another Moody Blues fan. If you like them you must like at least some of Dire Straits' works. Of course there is no comparison to Moody Blues who never fail for me. Again, a big most positive YES on the Moody Blues.

My very own experience has been the Holy Ghost will come into anyone where ever he is, in a sleeping bag, in a coffee house, on campus, on a highway in the Midwest on a dark and rainy night, and everywhere else. We cannot escape God's Presence anywhere, nor would we want to.
