God's own Son was not an apostate. Not even close. The Spirit of God will only tolerate arrogance and rebellion for so long. Don't put God to a foolish test.
1 John 1:9
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Although the sins of all of those that God gave to Jesus were forgiven, by his death on the cross, and were promised to inherit eternal life, without the loss of any, (John 6:39), God still commands them, when they commit sins, to confess their sins and repent in order to live a good and peaceful life here on earth.
Those, referred to in 1 John 1:9, were already born again, because the natural man, (1 Cor 2:14), before he has been quickened to the new spiritual life (Eph 2:1) cannot confess to breaking one of God's spiritual laws, that he cannot discern, and thinks them to be foolishness.
