"What must I do to be saved?"
This was the question posed by the Philippian Jailor after witnessing prison doors miraculously opened and prisoners miraculously set free from there bonds.

Jesus' death on the cross made possible the opening of spiritual prison doors and release from the bonds of sin for every man, women, and child ever born. The answer of Paul and Silas to the Philippian Jailor makes this abundantly clear...
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved" (Acts 16:31).

The Gospel of Salvation is clear, simple, and elementary. Stand firm and do not be swayed from the glorious truth of such great salvation bountiful and free!

Isaiah 55
1 Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

Some have come into CC of late and preached that salvation is not available to all and that there is nothing they can do to be saved. This post and the OP is submitted for multiple purpose.
1.) To present simple Truth about Salvation and its availability to all.
2.) To warn seekers and new Christians to beware of false teaching that has infiltrated CC.
3.) To warn the wolves in sheep's clothing that their false teaching will not be tolerated indefinitely.

Galatians 1:
6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.
9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Yes, believing that Jesus is God, that He lived sinless, that He died and rose again. And by entrusting your eternal salvation with Him, you will be eternally saved.

That is the message of the book of John and all through the bible. It's even in shadows and types in the Old Testament!

(John 5:39) Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The scriptures here is the Old Testament. That was the bible for those receiving the words of John at the time. The OT testifies of Jesus the Messiah.

It is those who do not believe who are being addressed here. But it is still the OT showing Jesus.

See what God promised for those living in the NT:

"...Men and brethren, what shall we do?

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call."

By misinterpreting the salvation scriptures will guide you into believing that your eternal deliverance is accomplished by your good works.

Isaiah 55:3 - The "live" does not reference "eternal life", but an abundant life, here in this world for God's people, if they follow his commandments.

Have you ever considered that your doctrine, of eternal salvation accomplished by your good works, is a false doctrine?

There is a one time eternal salvation, and there are many salvations that the born again child of God receives as he sojourn here on earth, that is accomplished by his good works

It might inlighten you to refer to the Greek meaning of salvation, which means "a deliverance".

John 5:14 - Only God's sheep hear his voice (John 10:26-29). Those hear and believe, already hath eternal life.

Believing is a product of having already been born again (John 10:26-29).

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.

Yep, trusting in Christ for salvation takes but for a moment but it's harder to believe it.
