Since the Apostle John, in his Gospel, called Jesus the WORD, which the WORD is a NAME for God, do You believe Jesus is the WORD, which is another NAME for God?
Did what? Jesus affirmed His divinity/Deity, as did the apostles.

1 John 5:10
Lol roger You are like trying to catch a slippery grasshopper or watching a magic show where the guy has to distract from the clear point someone made so he can change the narrative
lol My friend I say that I’m jest but it’s quite remarkable to see the acrobatics
John 5:18-23 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breakingNo they all taught Jesus has a God--The Israelites knew that fact-Psalm 45:7
es that’s a reference to anyone that hears and believes the gospel and becomes part of the church.
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
Mark 16:15-16 KJV
That’s a definition of the church those who have obtained precious faith in Jesus, it’s to any believer thats what faith is someone who hears and believes Gods word
“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
Romans 10:17 KJV

John 5:18-23 For this reason they tried all the more to kill him; not only was he breaking
the Sabbath, but he was even calling God his own Father, making himself equal with God.
19 Jesus gave them this answer: “Very truly I tell you, the Son can do nothing by himself;
he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son
also does. 20 For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, and he will show
him even greater works than these, so that you will be amazed. 21 For just as the Father raises
the dead and gives them life, even so the Son gives life to whom he is pleased to give it.
22 Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,
23 that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not
honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.
Colossians 1:15 The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16 For in Him all things
were created, things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities.
All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.

You, but for blasphemy, and because You, being a Man, make Yourself God.”

Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?”

This Verse is how it is written in the Oldest Greek Text still in existence:
That clearly shows us in Verse 1 that John called the WORD...God!
Wrong again. Just like I do not believe He broke the Sabbath. Jesus was and is sinless.Yet you believe Jesus committed blasphemy.
If you try hard enough, you will get yourself banned for doing so. Just a heads' up-So do you believe Jesus is YHWH? I can prove he is not.
A LEXICON IS PURELY OPINION ONLY!Jesus called the Pharisees liars and their Father was the devil--Yet you believe Jesus committed blasphemy. That is what the Pharisees were saying. They had hearts filled with hatred for Jesus they never said a truth about him. Or did you believe them that Jesus got his power from Demons?
Jesus and his Father are one-in purpose( John 5:30) Jesus lives 24/7-365 to do his Fathers will. as do the true followers( Matt 7:21)
They saw the Father because Jesus was his image( Coll 1:15)
He also taught--The Father is greater than i.
So do you believe Jesus is YHWH? I can prove he is not.
Not in the Greek Lexicons which all translations come from( NT)--The true God is called-HoTheos= God at John 1:1, The word is called Plain Theos=god. The whole reason they are called different= a capitol G God and a small g god.
Wrong again. Just like I do not believe He broke the Sabbath. Jesus was and is sinless.
But the Pharisees understood what Jesus was saying about Himself. You do not.
"Before Abraham was, I AM." <= the words of Jesus.
If you try hard enough, you will get yourself banned for doing so. Just a heads' up-![]()
Among other things, such as false accusations.I share facts.
Yet you believe Jesus committed blasphemy.
Is that the best you got?
A LEXICON IS PURELY OPINION ONLY!
Seriously, you are going to believe a MODERN DAY Interpretation over how Jerome translated it, a Person, well versed in several languages and had access to actual 1st Century Greek Text?
Tell me you're not serious?
Among other things, such as false accusations.
There is a difference between the desires that God expresses and His will. Many times the 2 are conflated.
If you say it is God's will that all should be saved and you also say that some are not saved, you are also saying that God is not omnipotent or sovereign...that He cannot fulfill what He has willed.
Consider the impact of that upon your own salvation. Whether or not you feel some can lose their salvation or not, you call into question God's ability to keep you saved.
