Yes,

Not willing that “ANY” should perish.
Amen and as well the rest of the sentance matters it’s actually sort of a key

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

at he way the New Testament is designed is that you arrive at that later point after hearing the gospel

Like this is what I’m trying to say

At he gospel was sent out to all people of rhe world

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Believers of the gospel he sent into the world and non believers of the gospel od going to determine who comes to repentance

So it is like building a wall of bricks this is what we hear in the gospel

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭13:3‬ ‭KJV‬‬

So when you get To Peters words it’s in agreement

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”
‭‭2 Peter‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

Repentance and also remission of sins is seen throughout the gospel

“When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord.

And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee:

go, and sin no more.”
‭‭John‬ ‭8:10-11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

awe have to come to belief of the gospel to hear the call to repentance that’s why it’s so important that he sent it out to all creatures he did this because it’s not his Will for anyone to perish but for all to hear the gospel and come to repentance and be saved

It’s why we share the gospel

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.”
‭‭John‬ ‭18:37‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s sent to everyone but only some are willing to hear it , he sent it In hopes the Hearer will hear the call to repentance and truth and be set free

“in meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; and that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

God wants everyone to repent and be saved it’s up to us whether we hear and believe the gospel

That is completely false (as usual coming from the camp of a false gospel).

Like all gifts, God's gift of eternal life (which is in fact the gift of His Son) must be received. Christ must be RECEIVED (accepted) as Lord and Savior by those who repent and believe on Him. See Revelation 3:20.

But as many as received* him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: (John 1:12)

* Strong's Concordance
lambanó: to take, receive
Original Word: λαμβάνω
Part of Speech: Verb
Transliteration: lambanó
Phonetic Spelling: (lam-ban'-o)
Definition: to take, receive

Usage: (a) I receive, get, (b) I take, lay hold of.

So once a person grabs hold of a false teaching, they have no choice expect to twist and pervert the Word of God over and over again. This is like the rejection of the deity of Christ by the Jehovah's Witnesses. Since John 1:1 automatically refutes their false doctrine they changed "God" to "a god" when applied to Christ. Thus the Calvinists change "the world" of humanity to "the elect" (or so-called elect) otherwise their whole house of cards gets blown away.
Guess you didn't like the next verse?

[Jhn 1:13 KJV] 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Who are the "us-ward"?
Everything in the New Testament is written to the Hearer those willing to hear what it says

The hypergrace circles don’t work for me brother everything the apostles wrote is to the church. Meaning anyone who believes the gospel.

repentance is just part of the gospel some never will accept that they need to repent though and the gospel informs them of thier end and says believe and repent

I’m not in any way interested in hearing the Joseph prince take on salvation

Kyrios or kurios (Ancient Greek: κύριος, romanized: kū́rios) is a Greek word which is usually
translated as "lord" or "master". It is used in the Septuagint translation of the Hebrew
scriptures about 7000 times, in particular translating the name God YHWH (the Tetragrammaton),
and it appears in the Koine Greek New Testament about 740 times, usually referring to Jesus.
source
Actually Kyrios does not belong in the OT Every spot GOD or LORD all capitols -the tetragramoton was in the OT=YHWH belongs there. Yes wicked men by satans will removed Gods personal name and replaced it with those titles-They had no right, It misleads by doing so. God inspired his name in those spots because he wants it there. Only the wicked fear using Gods name in vain, the righteous love the name and use it. So in the Ot where you have The LORD said to my Lord( Jesus) it actually reads-YHWH said to my Lord( Jesus) proving 100% Jesus is not YHWH.
The biggest misleading example is this--Joel 2:31-32--Those who call on the name of YHWH will be saved.--Quoted 2 x in the NT-Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13--- But since you have LORD and Lord in those spots and Jesus is called Lord at 1 Cor 8:6--the mislead will call on Jesus and fail to call on YHWH(Jehovah) as his word really instructs all to do. Gods name belongs in the NT every spot the OT is quoted and the name belongs.
Satan is misleading many by the removal of Gods name.

Of course he does. But he won't come right out and say it. I asked him a couple of times to say YEA or NAY, but he dodged the question. Probably another JW or some kind of cultist.

I tried to simplify both sides of the argument but there are uncooperative people here...particularly Mem and The_Watchers_2017. Who would have thought?
Yes, this site is hardly, in the place of church, with all the different doctrines that people believe. Thank God for His Holy Spirit.
But it was a good picture you drew. 🎯
John 16:13 KJV
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

aim just not afraid of the word repentance friend so I don’t have to jump in a circle to avoid it by asking ridiculous questions like “ who was a letter of an apostle of Jesus Christ and sent to the church for circulation written to ?

It’s written to anyone that will hear the truth

written to this group of folks

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

but some will hear and believe it others will look for some loophole and way to distract from what it says

Im not interested in Joseph prince theology

No, the us-ward are elect - only those whom God had chosen to salvation - those that God gave faith to through the righteousness of Christ. It was not intended to encompass everyone.

If you read the salutation of 2 Peter 1:1, you will find who the intended audience was:

[2Pe 1:1 KJV] 1 Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us through the righteousness of God and our Saviour Jesus Christ:

But God has given us a will, and He tells us to choose who we will serve.
Do you mean this verse?

[Deu 30:19 KJV] 19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:

And what was the result of their choice?

[Jer 3:8 KJV] 8 And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

Just as was with the nation of Israel, so it is that whenever choice is dependent upon of the will of natural man, the wrong choice is always made. Being given a choice, is not always the same as having a choice.

yes that’s a reference to anyone that hears and believes the gospel and becomes part of the church.

Peter was commanded to do this roger

“And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved;

but he that believeth not shall be damned.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭16:15-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s a definition of the church those who have obtained precious faith in Jesus, it’s to any believer thats what faith is someone who hears and believes Gods word

“So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭10:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s why Peter is teaching them they have to repent or their going to perish ots written to a believe of Jesus who taught to the same thing

it’s why Paul teaches the same thing we can’t keep Living ignorantly in sin if we hear Gods word we’re going to know the truth and not have an excuse of “ I didn’t know I was supposed to repent “ it’s that we heard the lord say it clearly , then we re route the mknd away from it to some other friendly sounding conditionless thing where you get to ignore what Jesus the lord said and create one’s own path to the father

All of those Symantec’s of “who’s this verse written to “ who’s that verse written to “ is just a shell game the whole New Testament is meant for believers in Jesus to hear and accept and learn from what God said to them who believe in Jesus the stuff tbat sounds easy and the stuff that challenges our faith to grow even prods us sometimes if we don’t want to and refuse

At some point believers have to come to this idea of hearing and believing the gospel Jesus Christ said woild ave anyone that hears it and believes and follows after what they learn as they learn because they believe he is who he claimed to be and did all he claimed to do

Lol roger You are like trying to catch a slippery grasshopper or watching a magic show where the guy has to distract from the clear point someone made so he can change the narrative

Did what? Jesus affirmed His divinity/Deity, as did the apostles.
