Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth.
We all need to stand before God iindividually. I can't judge your motives and you can't judge mine.

God is judge.

Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it.
Decide for yourself. Make the choose yourself based on truth, and you will or you wont regard the sabbath based on which way you are persuaded.

Paul isn't saying both choices are correct. The truth is the truth. We will choose to regard it to God or not regard it to the Lord.

Like any truth we can choose for ourselves to obey it to God or not obey it to God.
Eg....Be fully persuaded about homosexuality in your own mind as to if you accept it or not.
The truth will set you free.

Some topics are not salvational. Like today getting the vax or not getting the vax. Be full persuaded in your mind as to if you get it or not.
It's not for me to judge you or force you.

I agree that it is completely grace through faith that = salvation.

Knowing it is 100% grace why are some saved and some not saved?

IF grace was given to all. All would be saved.
So the gift of grace must not be given to all.

Jesus made provision for everyone, Jesus paid for every sinner so all could be saved but not everyone will be saved.

Jesus wants all to be saved and any person in their right mind would want to be saved. But only a few are....

Mat 7:14-16
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. 15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16 Ye shall know them by their fruits.

So is it just grace?

Yes and no...

Yes because grace is the way we are saved 100%. But more then this. Faith is required, and faith is dead without works.

Jas 2:24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
Here is what you stated again.

Provided you remain in God’s grace. You’re going to have to abstain from sin the best you can, remain repentant, and trust Him. You can be disciplined for sin and when you learn from the errors you’ll love God more for it.

Hebrews 12
14Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord. 15See to it that no one falls short of the grace of God, and that no root of bitterness springs up to cause trouble and defile many. 16See to it that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his birthright.17For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected. He could find no ground for repentance, though he sought the blessing with tears.
The Christian life is not all about the abstinence from sin.

We are always saved by the grace of God but we have been commanded by Jesus to do what?

What have we been commanded to do, to spend our lives preoccupied with?

What is the goal of all the Christian instruction?

Here is a simple verse below, that anyone who thinks their works contribute to their salvation. Will not be able to accept without adding something to the verse.

Romans 10:13
For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
I going to add some verses and don't say I'm twisting things. The truth is not founded on 1 verse.

Verse 1 more to come....
Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

The JUST shall live by FAITH.

The righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. Faith in the beginning and faith at the end, and the just shall live by faith.

The righteousness of God is revealed in the perfect life of Jesus, Jesus was obedient to the Law, and did not sin.
Sin is the transgression of the law.
We can reveal this righteousness by faith.
As the verse says.... the righteousness of God revealed from faith.....The just shall live by faith.

I've try to explain myself..
This subject is one that people have spent their lives trying to fully comprehend and failed.
The want to make it simple which is okay.
A simple faith is good. A childlike faith is good.

But to say it is just believe at the exclusion of righteousness and works, i think is wrong.

James agrees with me. Are the bible veses below controdicting themselves?
Jas 2:19-22
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

I’m more curious what you think we should do with our life. You’re saying it’s not all about abstinence from sin. I don’t know, I try to take this pretty seriously. I can’t imagine Jesus saying “it’s okay, go ahead and sin a little bit because life isn’t all about abstinence from sin.” I think if Jesus had his way, we’d go and literally never sin again.

The Christian life is not all about the abstinence from sin.
Think about it....
Why do we need a saviour? SIN
What do we need salvation from? SIN
When do we need to be freed from sin? Now.
Where? This world and our hearts.
How ? By faith in Jesus.
What have we become slaves to? SIN.
Jesus can to set us free from what? SIN,
What is the cause of all the problems and pain in the world? SIN.

You say it isn't about abstinence of sin?

You are preaching one of a plethora of alternate gospels.

Salvation is by grace though faith and strict obedience to the ten commandments.

That is your alternate gospel, Jesus plus holiness equals salvation.

The true gospel follows.

Romans 10:9
That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes in Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

The word of faith!

You are obsessed with your own sin. Your absolute failure in the realm of personal holiness, that is your problem. The same as everyone else in the Christian world. I must be holy to be saved!

Unfortunately, you are not saved on the basis of your holiness, your freedom from sin.

You can only be saved by grace through faith and that is not of yourselves, it is a gift from God.

Anyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved.

Salvation is a gift given to you through that belief in Jesus, not Jesus plus holiness.

Not the church you attend.

Not through holiness.

Not through a sacrament.

Creeds have nothing to do with that free gift of salvation.

Your a sinner that has been crucified with Jesus Christ, your dead in Christ. Have you been buried with Jesus or are you pursuing holiness to co-contribute. To the sacrifice that Jesus offered up for us all.

The beginning of the gospel.

Anyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved.

The end of the gospel.

Everything else is secondary information.

Depends on whether it is the Jewish 7th day Sabbath or the Christian 8th day Sabbath.
The Sabbath is the 7th day of the week, which is Saturday NOT Sunday. The Sabbath is for all not just for Jews. If you are a follower of Christ/Christian then you are supposed to observe the Sabbath day, it is a COMMANDMENT!

Exodus 20:8-11 KJV
[8] “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. [9] Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: [10] But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: [11] For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.”

You are not supposed to do your pleasures on the sabbath day or work which includes cooking, cleaning, buying and selling, partying, watching tv, listening to worldly music and even having your own conversations. You’re supposed to have a holy convocation which means going to church. You’re focus is supposed to be on the Lord, he only ask for one day!
“As his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read.” Luke 4:16
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever.” Hebrews 13:8

But that is not the word of faith which we preach.

That is Jesus plus the law saves.

That is not what the gospel declaration in the scripture is defined as.

Anyone who calls on the name of Jesus will be saved.

Ephesians 2:8
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.

The obedience to the law and your holiness is not the platform on which we stand.

That belief (faith) in the death and resurrection of Jesus is the core doctrine of Christianity.

Not Jesus plus the law saves, that is not the gift of grace.

Hebrews 9:14
How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

You need to understand how you are saved. Are you saved by Jesus alone or do you contribute to that act of salvation. Is it Jesus plus your holiness?

Does bearing the fruit of the Holy Spirit mix with your holiness, added to the atonement Jesus offered. Result in your salvation?

Are you saved by grace or are you saved by grace plus your holiness?

Are you saved by faith plus baptism?

Are you saved by grace plus faith, plus holiness, plus sacraments, plus the correct doctrine?

Or simply is the church you attend the reason you are saved.

We could go on forever with the various alternate gospels?

Does love matter?

I will judge the world, a big responsibility but I accept it by faith.

1 Corinthians 6:2
Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to form the smallest law courts?

1 Corinthians 6:3
Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?

It's a big task to judge the world but I am ready.

The Bible says many things save someone. I think there’s only one verse that says you’re saved by grace, the rest of the Bible says saved by something else. Of course, they’re all correct, but I think since it says so many different avenues whereby being saved comes, we should take them all into account.

There is no “grace alone” idea in the Bible. People like to hang their hat on the idea of grace, walk away, and call it complete. I think it just enables them to ignore all of the other things that save.

I've got an idea, let's all build altars and start offering sacrifices again. Would that satisfy all the Hebrew/Jewish roots people?

"Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?" Acts 15:10

I'm wondering if people think faith is a work.
Grace =Salvation=works! We can't boast or else we had a part in it. Roman 3:27 Then what becomes of our boasting? It is excluded. By what law? By a law of works? No. by the Law of faith.
We receive the Grace (God's Riches At Christ's Expense) by faith which produces works.
Abraham was justified by faith when he believed and his faith was complete when he obeyed by offering Issaac his son on the alter, which is a picture of the gospel. Romans 10:9 ...Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead.
I believe Abraham trusted that God would provide a Lamb. Do we have the kind of faith that trust God in that way?

I can't say that I have the faith that would obey God in sacrificing his only son, (if I had a child), BUT I have the same faith he had to get saved.
Abraham was saved decades before he took Isaac up that mountain. He certainly gave the gospel message of the O.T. in that demonstration of offering his only begotten son. He exercised saving faith long before his hundredth birthday. He demonstrated that he was a friend of God when he carried out that command in obedience. That's what James 2 is about.

Through Issaac's seed we are blessed when we believe. The Hebrews were under the Law of Moses. Exodus 31:12-17
We are not servants of the Sinia covenant that genders bondage, but of Jerusalem of above which is free, and she is our mother Galatians 4:24, 25
Galatians 4:9 Now that you have come to know God, or rather known by God, how can you turn back to the weak and beggarly element of the world, whose slaves you want to be again? You observe days, months and years, I'm afraid of you, lest I've labored in vain.
The covenant was with the house of Israel, so obviously they had to keep the sabbath and all the other laws. Now we Gentiles are not under obligation to keep the Law of Moses.
The sabbath was one of the commands that had ordinances. Which I understand to be fulfilled in Christ. We labor to enter into that rest, by striving against sin to enter into Christ.
