I've never even fired a pistol, but even I know that.

Of course I do have a lot of friends who never leave the house without a firearm somewhere on their persons...

But yeah, if I had a gun I'd definitely not be putting it out on my hip for everyone to see. Keep a little mystery in the game. Make the psycho work for it. Keep him guessing.
Probability of apprehension is the deterrent to crime, a visible firearm may deter a miscreant, reminding him there is a big price to be paid. Concealed can give a needed edge to end a problem if needed and also give pause as one cannot be sure who is and who isn't equipped.
Whatever He guides you to do. We know the Lord can protect us far better if we dwell in the secret place of the Almighty.

H&H-The internal slide rail makes the slide thinner, I like the way they put those screws in the rear of the slide to help in charging the pistol.
Thanks for the video about Wild Bill
I like the slide retraction studs too. That's a good idea that doesn't hurt the profile.

Jerry Miculek shooting the new S&W Equalizer-
Barrel Length 3.675" (9.3 cm)
Weight 22.9 oz

That's going to be a big competitor with the Sig 365xl that has the same barrel length and only 2oz lighter. This Equalizer carries 16 , albeit with an extended mag. The company says it has an internal hammer with a crisp single action. I'm going to have to see an internal diagram that shows what makes it different from a striker fired polymer.
My oh my, I like that name.

Miculek is a living legend. His revolver skills are difficult to believe, even when watching it happen. He does things that just make you say "that's impossible"...
His daughter is supposed to be almost as fast/good. Amazing talent.

I'm glad I watched that last review of S&Ws latest. The specs look amazing and should give the sig a major drop in sales. It looks VERY promising if not for the problems. Woodward Michulek has integrity for showing that without a do over. That's his sponsor. I just happen to be a major fan of Edward Woodward too.

Guess what caliber that first rifle is.

Correction, I just had a typo glitch in the frustrating auto correct. It's Jerry Miculek .

I'm just curious... it seems as if this pistol is just a higher capacity M&P EZ Shield? I think I like the idea of it being an internal hammer fired, SA pistol, but I'd have to try the trigger out before deciding for sure. Looks like they retail for around $500....

Whenever I go to the big retail stores, they have trigger locks on all the inventory. I'm sure if I was serious about getting one, I could eventually find a shop without the bulky item attached to it, but not in the market right now. It's kind of like taking a car for a test drive with a Club on the steering wheel. I asked the managers and counter guys, How can anyone even feel if the grip fits the hand if you can't wrap all your fingers around it? Lol!

I saw a comment that a guy purchased one for$500. Here's a review from Sootch. He did a more detailed measurement of the trigger pull. It looks like approx 4.5+/- pounds. He stripped it to show internals. Takedown is standard except for the recoil spring guide rod shape. It comes with all three mag sizes. Optics ready for addition of a red dot. One awesome feature is that a holosun can be cowitnessed with the standard sights without additional suppressor sights. VERY low profile and cost savings. It's hard to find those available for a lot of models. The thickness is around that of a 1911 which is the most important dimension for most carry styles. I'll post it for you and for Shittim in case you are interested.

Our local gun shop closed down this month. I haven't heard the details why, but I'm kinda suspecting it might be because the owner saw how Measure 114 here in Oregon was going to play out and decided it wasn't worth the hassle. Now we're left with BiMart and our local feed store as our only options for gun purchases.

I'm also irked that our state keeps saying Measure 114 passed when they haven't counted all the votes yet. It's pretty close and could end up failing. Praying that will be the case because this measure could set a nasty precedent.

Please fill us in on Measure 114. I'm not familiar with that.

“Infringement on Our Constitutional Rights” – Several Oregon Sheriffs Say They Won’t Enforce New Gun Control Laws

https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...eriffs-say-wont-enforce-new-gun-control-laws/
Thanks mailman Dan.
Quote from your link.

"Message from Sheriff Michelle Duncan on Ballot Measure 114:
Unfortunately, we are seeing the passage of Ballot Measure 114, which creates a required permitting system in order to purchase firearms AND bans gun magazines capable of holding more than 10 rounds. This is a terrible law for gunowners, crime victims, and public safety.
I want to send a clear message to Linn County residents that the Linn County Sheriff’s Office is NOT going to be enforcing magazine capacity limits..."

We should pray against that right now.

Colion Noir explains it best:

In my area, it was hard just to find a conceal carry class (the only guy who teaches it has since quit) much less find a "safety class".
It's a catch-22. To get a gun you need a class so if you can't find a class or they refuse to provide one...no guns.

Thank you. I'll listen to it.
I think he's a lawyer too, which gives him that legal insight.

This forum should start praying against that and I'll put it on our prayer list for those in my state for tomorrow.

They are trying to disarm their enemies. They already used biologicals on their own population. They are using chemicals and bios to murder people with the soft (slow) kill because they are now sure that the parents will not fight back or try to protect their families. Short video from California.

I hope you can get what you want before that goes through. That it's delayed is a sign that they are rigging that part of the election to pass.
And...

Yes, he is a lawyer. I thought Measure 114 would just affect Oregon. I was startled when he said it could affect all of he US. Knew it was bad but didn't realize it was that bad. Having his legal perspective is a boon.
