OSAS is eternal life it is the free gift of God to everyone who believes ... God does not impart this gift on any other terms than as a free gift. If you do not receive it as a free gift you won't have it.

This life is in His Son, he that hath the Son hath life, he who hath not the Son hath not life. Because He lives we shall live also.
Sigh...God does not impart His free gift to those who make only a partial, intermittent surrender to Him.

Obedience is proof of full surrender salvation, according to 1 John 2:3-4 KJV.
OSAS is provision for intermittent surrender, according to Proverbs 28:13 KJV.

Why that's what they accused Paul of, preaching grace as a license to sin, their condemnation, said Paul, is just. Could YOU be accused of preaching grace as a license to sin?

You are preaching a different gospel to Paul's gospel then.
Paul preached that we lay not up provision for the flesh - OSAS is exactly that: provision laid up for those who refuse to make a full, permanent surrender.

Those who have received His life testify to you, The wind blows where he listeth and ye hear the sound thereof so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.

Have YOU received His life? are YOU born again?

Invariably, whenever someone points out 1 John 2:3-4 KJV, OSAS people immediately go to "We're not saved by works!!!" Just like you did.

Of course, we're not saved by works - but works are the evidence of whether we're saved by grace - whether we've made a full surrender to Jesus.

The OSAS License to Sin is a "permanent" solution to intermittent surrender which in the sight of God is as inadequate a covering Adam and Eve's fig leaves.
And where did I say we are not saved by works? I believe I said if you are saved works naturally happen instinctively but by all means show me where I said we are not saved by works and also are you going to answer my question or continue avoiding it oh yes I haven't forgotten don't worry

Pardon me but Jesu's command is repent and believe the good news, He nowhere demands of anybody that they make this full and permanent surrender you talk about in order to be saved.

We are exhorted to present our very selves to God as living sacrifices, that comes after we are saved.

Make no provision for the flesh means simply make no plans for sinful indulgence. that we won't.

I don't criticize character, I criticize false doctrine - and if I do mess up, I ask forgiveness.

You, however, should take a look at your own posts, darlin.
you have done more than simply criticize

you have maligned his character

you seem to be suffering from short term memory loss. this is what you said to him:

Your problem is that you think that "come to Him by faith" is a one night stand instead of a marriage...that we can abide in the Vine this week, then hang out at Satan's holly tree down the street next week.

you compared his long term relationship with Christ to a one night stand with a prostitute

take ownership of your crass comments or stop making them

Yes, I try my best to expose false doctrines which rob people of a knowledge that salvation is conditional on the sinner making a full, permanent surrender of our will to Jesus' will.

As I said to another, OSAS is a "permanent solution" to intermittent surrender.

I'm sorry. I didn't know it was your best

I apologigize I thought phone man said this about you and everyone else I got confused.
uh...but you responded directly to this

not going to answer/cannot answer

these folks do not believe in the gifts of the Holy Spirit

Rhomphaeam response is above his paygrade

but the question is legitimate
you responded with

There you go with your presumptous assertions again what do you mean these people don't believe in the gifts of the holy spirit and by what proof do you make such claims? Also when you say these people who are you speaking about?
see, you directly mentioned my comment re the gifts of the Holy Spirit. so....

Sorry, friend, but OSAS is disproven by Matthew 24:12-13 KJV, unless you choose to believe Posthuman's redonkulous, heretical, ludicrous idea that the wicked can partake of God's "agape" love.

You didn't begin to insist we're not saved by works when I pointed out the test in 1 John 2:3-4 KJV? Sure you did! ;)

So, Jesus is our example in all things EXCEPT "not My will, but Thine", right?

You see? That's why I HATE this stupid doctrine. It blinds people to what should be readily seen by all. Do you really think you're going into heaven with anything less than full surrender when Lucifer was kicked out for that very thing? Good gravy!

Podna, OSAS is precisely the provision for those who don't want to make a full, permanent surrender to Jesus.

if it were agape love it would not wax cold. I am sorry this will be a shock to you but we are not saved by love, love is a fruit of being saved. We are saved by faith.

1. John. 2. 3-4 is By this we may be sure that we know Him, if we keep His commandments ....

That is the commandments of Christ not Moses.

The law came by Moses but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ and we have received this grace.
Let's see to Whom the Ten Commandments belong, Moses or Jesus, shall we?

Psalms 78 KJV
78:1 Give ear, O people to My law: incline thine ears to the words of My mouth (10 comms spoken at Sinai).
78:2 I will open My mouth in parable; I will utter dark sayings of old.

Matthew 13 KJV
13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
13: 35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

That's right, it was Jesus Who spoke His Ten Commandments at Sinai - Moses was simply a sanctified secretary. John says if you claim to know Jesus but don't keep His Ten Commandments, you're a liar liar pants, butt, body on fire in the Lake of Fire.

he that hath Christ hath life ... His life is eternal. Eternal life [the doctrine of] is soul strengthening doctrine.

We know we are not here today and gone tomorrow, we believe in being planted and not uprooted continually, we shoot down our roots in the rich soil of God's grace, we grow strong and ever more confident as we see the life of Christ being manifest in us.

You are of double mind, unsteady and unstable, saved [are you?] today but not certain about tomorrow. Tossed to and throw by the doctrines of cunning men [or in your case woman Ellen White]

You are like the baals in Elisha's day, shuffling back and forth, flogging each other along.
