the sons of God are those of seths line and called on his name . They had began to marry with cains daughters who were not of the line of Seth and came from cains line who had been cut out of adams line
Notice how cain doesn’t appear in adams line but skips to Seth.

What I find interesting is how does one comes to the understanding that "the sons of God are those of seths line"? I am not disagreeing with you nor do I want to be confrontational, d you come to the understanding that we have nothing in the word of God pertaining to Cain other than he did have children. Yet WE do not see in the word of God ( please show me) Seth is the line. I hear some say Melchezdeck was Seth too,.

Ah, there it is. I was saving this for a slow day but you beat me to it. Thank you brother. 
It's really interesting to go look at the lineages in Genesis. You'll see several "and so-n-so had (insert proper name) and then had other sons and daughters". I believe there was a preserved "priestly" lineage in the children whose names are mentioned.

It's really interesting to go look at the lineages in Genesis. You'll see several "and so-n-so had (insert proper name) and then had other sons and daughters". I believe there was a preserved "priestly" lineage in the children whose names are mentioned.

SONS OF GOD = THE ANGELS THAT SINNED (OR KEPT NOT THEIR FIRST ESTATE)
For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to [Tartarus], and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly (2 Peter 2:4,5)

It is very clear when one takes the Bible as a whole that this chapter refers to the first fall of the angels. They fell because they lusted after the women before the Flood. This event is cited in the letters of Jude 1, 2 Peter 2, and 1 Corinthians 11. This leaves no room whatsoever for uncertainty or ambiguity of what happened and why and who was involved in the popular debate about Genesis 6.
