What I find interesting is how does one comes to the understanding that "the sons of God are those of seths line"? I am not disagreeing with you nor do I want to be confrontational, d you come to the understanding that we have nothing in the word of God pertaining to Cain other than he did have children. Yet WE do not see in the word of God ( please show me) Seth is the line. I hear some say Melchezdeck was Seth too,.
this is what leads me to believe that ( I’m no authority but this is how I came to that conclusion )
Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For
unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And
let all the angels of God worship him.”
Hebrews 1:4-6 KJV
“Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of
Adam, which was the son of God.”
Luke 3:38 KJV
“And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and
begat a son in his own likeness, ( son of God )after his image; and called his name Seth: And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat
sons and daughters:”
Genesis 5:3-4 KJV
Seth replaced
cain who had children of his own after he was cut out of adams line
“And
Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. And Cain knew his wife; and she
conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.”
Genesis 4:16-17 KJV
The sons of God are those of seths line who began to call on his name
“And to
Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name
Enos:
then began men to call upon the name of the Lord.”
Genesis 4:26 KJV
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God.”
John 1:1-2 KJV
“But
as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.”
John 1:12-13 KJV
seths line believed and called upon his name cain went out from his presence that’s the distinction
in my opinion
