Pro 9:7, He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame: and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.
Pro 9:8, Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.
Pro 9:9, Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man, and he will increase in learning.

I believe the gospel and call to follow is radical.

We do not realize how radical.

It REQUIRES death of the flesh, and, ambition, desires, impulses, etc.

But thank God it is helped by the infilling....and my movement into that promised land.

I can be free.
Victory is my portion.
Romans 8 is my dwelling place.

Paul said " i press FORWARD towards the mark"
That is determination.

An overcomer as i understand it in broad terms is " one who overcomes sin"

Why? I am saved by the Atonement of the LORD Jesus Christ.. And i do not value your prayers.. Rightiousness in the flesh doctrine promoters are not my brothers in Christ.. You may as well be a muslim or a catholic to me..

What puzzles me is the name you call yourself justbyfaith ??? You do not believe in your name's statement.. Your sanctification is a process that is only achieved by attaining a sinless state on earth.. Me, i became a Saint on the day i believed because i was justified just by faith.. Not by attaining sinless..

May you be forgiven..
Thats funny

I have said the same thing in numerous threads.

Faith is low on his totem pole. He likes to look at how good he is or how bad others are.

Perfect sanctification has a name

Its called Glorification.

It is what we will be when we are resurrected

Until then, we are perfected positionally. But in the process of being sanctified

For by one offering he has perfected forever those who are BEING SANCTIFIED

We will not be perfectly sanctified (sinless) while in this body. Only Christ achieved that

@Dino246, it seems to be a pattern with you that you tend to disagree with holy scripture.
Nope Just your interpretation of scripture.

You are to focused on self and how good you are or how good you think you need to be.

Your not focused on God

And sadly you want others to follow you in your self righteous delusion. Instead of looking to Christ.

See John 8:34 (kjv).

If anyone commits sin they become a slave of sin.

So, if we have been set free, we are not going to commit individual sins in the manner of our former addictions; because if we did, we would again be enslaved to those addictions.
Here we have it

His sins are oopsies.. I did not mean it God I do not know what happened, it just happened.

Pursuing God from wherever you are is perfection in Christ

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:12-16‬ ‭KJV‬‬

amen Paul also said he wasn’t claiming to be perfect or have achieved it but was pressing toward the high calling of God in Christ I think we confuse sin which is the law with righteousness which comes through the gospel and belief

“Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.

But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In that same section you referenced he says again

“.And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law,

but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭3:9‬ ‭

as long as we think righteousness is according to what Moses wrote in the ot we’re always going to look at God like we’re sinners . Because it’s giving the knowledge of sin to sinners to hold them guilty

“Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭3:19‬ ‭KJV‬‬

as long as we take that law as our law we can never be free of sins dominion it will remain ever present with us because it is for sinners to restrain tbier sin within them and not act in it.

when we come to God by what Jesus said in the gospel and look at righteousness his way , it isn’t about restraining the sin in you , it’s about eliminating the spiritual causes of sin rather than restraining them and not acting in sin , Jesus doctrine leads us out of the snare
By addressing the root issues in our heart

lust , don’t allow it to dwell
In your mind and heart , greed don’t allow it to rule you , hate and grudge bearing don’t allow it to fester and cause sin towards those we dislike or have something against ….he’s addressing what causes us to sin offering us a way to break the chains and be aware of what’s really happening

the devils plot in the world is inside kf
Mans mind and heart so we share the gospel in this hope

“In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.”
‭‭2 Timothy‬ ‭2:25-26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it’s the word that is able

1Jo 3:7, Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.

1Th 5:23, And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1Th 5:24, Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.

Heb 10:14 (kjv), For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

No, what the scriptures actually say, in the kjv.

However, I notice that you have rejected the kjv for a modern translation, as concerning Hebrews 10:14.

In doing so, you have heaped for yourself a teacher to tell you what your itching ears want to hear.

If you are captivated by an addictive behaviour, God can set you free. If you indulge in that behaviour after having been set free, you will be entangles again in a yoke of bondage.

For example, if God sets you free from smoking, smoking a cigarette afterwards may be the start again of the same pattern that had you addicted in the first place. It is important, therefore, that one avoid the things that once held him in captivity.

The Hoy Ghost is described as living water that satisfies the soul.

When we are satisfied by the living water, we will not be drawn or tempted by the toilet waters that the world offers us to drink.

As long as we are being sustained by the toilet waters of this world, we will thirst again.

But when we partake of the living water (the Holy Ghost) we will never again thirst for the toilet water that this world has to offer.

John 4:13-14, John 6:35, John 7:37-39.
