Yes, but the 1,000 years are spent ruling and reigning with Jesus in heaven.
Nope. HE returns to the Earth to defeat the beast and his army and then will rule over the Earthly nations with his saints. There is no scripture that ever places Christ back in heaven.

Again, you Jesuit Futurists treat the Bible as a buffet table:
I'm not a Jesuit. Don't call me one. I am a Protestant.

Now we gettin all subjective and speculative, while all those verses that speak of a destroyed, uninhabited Earth go unanswered by you guys.
Post them if you want but the Earth is very fully inhabited during the thousand years where the ruling takes place over the nations. All of Revelation 20 proves your SDA doctrines to be incorrect on this matter.

After the 1,000 years, New Jerusalem comes down and that is when the wicked arise for sentencing and destruction - followed by the NH/NE.
The unsaved dead resurrect BEFORE NJ comes down according to Revelation 20-21. Also, the NHNE comes first in Revelation 21 before NJ does so you have that backwards as well.

Well, for eternity not just for 1000 years. Eternity is spent on the Earth. The Father and Son will also dwell there rather than Heaven.

Of course. Heaven is a temporary place for the bodiless dead in Christ. Once the resurrection happens, they will come here with Jesus.

None of that is addressing the thousand years which is full of the nations and Christ and his immortal saints ruling over them.

Rev 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

The saints reign will be on the Earth not from heaven:

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the EARTH.

second coming:

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

After the second coming:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

No one is taken to the 3rd heaven. Perhaps the slain army at Armageddon will go unburied but in the above scriptures we see that Christ is coming to the Earth to rule over the nations who are not killed that day. They are the whole point of the thousand years. It would be meaningless to have a thousand year rule with no one to rule.

The fact that they want the rocks to fall on them is a type of burial:

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

That would kill and bury them.

The Earth is not desolate or empty during the thousand years. No scripture shows that and plenty show the Earth full of so many people they are like the sands of the sea. They were the ones ruled over by Christ and the saints for the thousand years.
Rev 14 has Jesus gathering ripe fruit to the sky DURING THE GT.

Rev 19 the bride has become the wife in heaven.

Matt 24 has Noah delivered BEFORE THE FLOOD

LOT delivered BEFORE judgement

The baby Jesus was delivered escaped before the slaughter.
Acts 1 has the " like manner" dynamic. ( exact opposite of the postrib theory)....EXACT OPPOSITE!

The 144k are found IN HEAVEN DURING THE GT.

They are firstfruits. ...MEANING main harvest IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWS.

ALL the rapture verses are in a pretrib setting...ALL OF THEM!!!

"""The problem with popular Jesuit Futurist based end time scenarios is none of them account from this period of desolation on Earth - only PROTESTANT HISTORICISM."""

Lol skewed dead men showing you from the grave such folly.

Psssst...their skewed view was from a skewed prism of Israel destroyed and the Hebrew's scattered into other nations.

Such a poor position.

The 144,000 Are the first fruits of your pre-trib rapture, and are found in heaven during the great tribulation?

Thats a new one, whats gonna be the name of the new religion your starting?

Revelation 14:3-7KJV
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

As I have posted (Several Times), at the (Second Coming) this existing earth is (Dissolved) By The Lords Fire In Judgement.

The Earth Will Be Dissolved By The Lords Fire In Judgement At His Second Coming, As The New Heavens, Earth, And Jerusalem Are Revealed For Eternity.

No nukes, broken down cities, bodies laying everywhere dead as you claim.

Jesus Christ Returns In Fire And Final Judgement, Dissolving This Existing Earth By Fire, Immediately After The Tribulation.

This Existing Heaven And Earth Will Be (Replaced) By The New Heaven, Earth, Jerusalem, A New Creation, At The Return Of Jesus Christ!

(Behold, I Make All Things New)

2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved
, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Revelation 21:1-5KJV
1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Matthew 24:29-30KJV
29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

Luke 17:29-30KJV
29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

2 Thessalonians 1:7-9KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God
, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

Malachi 3:2KJV
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

Psalm 46:6KJV
6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.

Psalm 50:3KJV
3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

Psalm 97:5KJV
5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

Isaiah 66:15KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Nahum 1:5-6KJV
5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein.
6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.

Revelation 20:9KJV
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.
Where does it say that the Lord Jesus destroys the Earth with fire WITHOUT any people on Earth?

  • Peter says when Jesus comes as a "thief in the night" to collect the dead and living saints, He comes with destructive fire.
  • John says when New Jerusalem comes down from heaven (after the 1,000 years) and the wicked surround it and the saints inside, they will be destroyed by fire that comes down from God out of heaven, after which the NH/NE is created and the saints go forth to trample down there ashes.

On both of these occasions of destructive fire, there are saints present with Jesus on the Earth, but the prophecies predict a period on Earth where there is "no man" and "all the birds of heaven were fled" and the place will be "empty", etc. Can you reconcile these verses with your interpretation?

Stop preaching JESUIT ESCHATOLOGY and no one will be able to call it exactly what it is.

Church history clearly demonstrates that Futurism can be traced directly back to the "Roman dunghill of decretals" which form the foundation of the Jesuit Order, and Historicism can be traced to the Protestant Reformers and the Scriptures they preached.

Feel free to call me a Protestant Historicist all you want...I consider it a compliment - just as you consider "Jesuit Futurism" derogatory, and rightly so...Rome can't even get right the elementary doctrine of "salvation by grace through faith alone", and yet you all think they somehow got a handle of Bible eschatology??? Good gravy, man!

Nope....There is no scripture that ever places Christ back in heaven.
It's called "inference" - plenty of reason to infer it: Why do you deny the Israelite betrothal custom Jesus drew upon in John 14 to illustrate His return at the Second Coming, which custom holds that the bridegroom returns to the father with the bride?

Why do you deny 2 Peter 3:10 that when Jesus comes back as a thief in the night to collect the saints, the Earth is going to get nuked and desolated?

Why do you deny that when New Jerusalem "which is above" comes down here and is surrounded by the wicked, the saints are already inside the city, which means they had to have gone to the city when it was still up there?
I'm not a Jesuit. Don't call me one. I am a Protestant.
LOL!!! A "Protestant"? Just what are you protesting? You deny the Papacy as Antichrist, which was one of the Twin Pillars of the Protestant Reformation! You preach and defend Jesuit "Left Behind" Futurism, which the Protestant Reformers soundly refuted (along with Jesuit Preterism) by many of the very same arguments I present here!
Post them if you want but the Earth is very fully inhabited during the thousand years where the ruling takes place over the nations. All of Revelation 20 proves your SDA doctrines to be incorrect on this matter.
No, Revelation says Jesus will rule the nations with a "rod of iron", but like all confused Jesuit Futurists, you plug your ears to the other texts that give their impact...like Psalm 2:2 which clearly says Jesus is going to "break them with a rod of iron" and "dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel" -- just as Daniel says the Stone is going to destroy all the other kingdoms when He strikes the Earth at His coming.
The unsaved dead resurrect BEFORE NJ comes down according to Revelation 20-21. Also, the NHNE comes first in Revelation 21 before NJ does so you have that backwards as well.
No, the Resurrection of the Just happens at the Second Coming as the wicked are dropping dead all over the place "at the brightness of His coming" and "the rest of the dead (the wicked) lived not again until the 1,000 years were finished." It is then when New Jerusalem comes down 1,000 years after the Second Coming that the wicked are raised, sentenced to death, and then they get the smackdown from Jesus as He "rules them with a rod of iron" that "breaks them" and "dashes them to pieces" like that Stone that "grinds them to powder."

Really? Is English your first language? What in this passage could suggest the turmoil is limited to just Babylon and Israel?

Jeremiah Chapter 25 Is Nothing More Than Jeremiah Prophesying, Of The Coming Babylonian Captivity By King Nebuchadnezzar, Its That Simple, 6th Grade Reading Comprehension.

Jeremiah 25:1-11KJV
1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
2 The which Jeremiah the prophet spake unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the Lord hath come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but ye have not hearkened.
4 And the Lord hath sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but ye have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
5 They said, Turn ye again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the Lord hath given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
6 And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
7 Yet ye have not hearkened unto me, saith the Lord; that ye might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.

10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
Please tell me at what time in history dead bodies were scattered across the entire globe...I musta been sleeping when they went over that in World History.

Aufruf
Aufruf is a Yiddish term that means "to call up." Prior to the wedding ceremony, the bride and groom are called to the Torah for a blessing called an aliyah. After the aliyah, the rabbi will offer a blessing called misheberach, and at that time it is customary for members of the congregation to throw candies at the couple to wish them a sweet life together

I looked up "aliyah". It means to call up.

Wow. Pretrib rapture signposts galore.

Got to love it. Such harmony and authentication.

Apart form bridesmaid, did you know in John 14, Jesus absolutely illustrates His Second Coming by drawing on the custom of a bridegroom going away to build a marriage chamber for his bride, and then returning for her TO BRING HER BACK TO HIS FATHER’S HOUSE?

Which begs the question: why is this ignored in order to spread abroad ideas about a millennial reign on Earth?
