Soooo, I'm about to make some Thai chicken. *drools*

This is a forum where you post what you're cooking/eating! Take pictures of your food and post it!

Once the chicken is done thawing, I will definitely be posting pictures!

But, here's a picture of pineapple chicken I made:

Drippings... a yankee talking about drippings... Now I done seen ev'thang.

cinder you SHORE you ain't growed up down heah in da Sowth?

As for me, I may never cook again.

See there's this grocery store that does a food bar for lunch. One-meat-three-veggie plate lunches and such. They also have THE BEST potato wedges, made from real potatoes they bread and fry there (not some junk from a freezer bag.)

The leftovers from this daily lunch bar get packaged up and sold real cheap. I have developed a habit of stopping by just about every day to see what they have. So yeah, I may never cook again.

Never know what i will find, all for two bucks a quart. Mashed potatoes (made from real potatoes, not instant glue) pot roast, turkey pot pie, fried apples, candied sweet potatoes, mac-n-cheese...

Mmm comfort food... I need to find one of those! However, Shiney might be scolding me when she starts up her eating healthy and exercise post 😂

That looks so yummy! I don't think I'll be cooking today...maybe tomorrow but I'm not sure what yet. It'll be salmon or chicken.

Cooking Thai Chicken in the slow cooker today.

I love to cook and don't really enjoy slow cookers because it takes the fun out of cooking for me. But, today is a day of cleaning and I don't have time! Plus, this is a gift to me - therefore, I wanted to try it out :)

It's not cheating if the result tastes delicious. Crock pots are totally valid.

You're so formal, calling me by my full screenname ;)

The result did taste delicious, so, I guess I win?

Right!

It's like the Launchpad McQuack motto: "Any landing you can walk away from is a good landing."

Any recipe that comes out tasting delicious is a good one... whether you microwaved it or used a crock pot or used power beaters instead of a manual whisk, or any number of shortcuts that would make some purists gasp. If it's delicious, that's a success.
