Ah, bales of clothes. I remember that. My mother would go to the bale sale a lot and plow through large quantities of clothing that had just been cut loose from the bale.

That guy probably doesn't lift a finger at home either. Hopefully, he at least has a job but who knows.what is wrong with that dude he cant fold clothes?
Its easy man. Just turn everything right side out and fold it so it matches the other half and can fit in your drawer.
If I were that lady I would just have thrown them all into the hamper and taken it home, he can wear wrinkled shirts to work if he cant be bothered helping.
also, 3 year olds dont care too much about wrinkled clothes.
If Im at the laundromat which is on rare occasion I just do my other shopping and come back when its done.

Yeah, me too. Sad.I would hate to be with someone like that but I see it all too often.
I don't mind at all doing dishes as long as I have a dishwasher. Even then it is a bit of work such as rinsing and placement in the racks. Then you have to put it all away in the appropriate place. It's a never ending process. I use Cascade Platinum pods. Superior.don't like doing dishes... does that count
all i herd was dirty birdy...
I love all of the edibles that you mentioned. In the meantime the laundry is starting to accumulate again. I'm thinking of trying those pods that protect clothes and brighten colors. Occasionally my honey just throws my old tattered clothes in the trash. That's a shame 'cause the old tattered clothes (with rips and holes) are the most comfortable. It's like she is throwing a little piece of me away. On second thought, skip the pods and just go to Goodwill or a thrift store to pick up some duds that are still serviceable. No need to pay retail because they still will eventually end up in the trash.I'm busy even on a half day at work, picking up my 2 nephews and 3 of my nieces to come over to my place, always busy, going to wrap presents decorate Christmas tree make homemade meatloaf, mashed and green bean casorole and then brownies or carrot cake, probably both oh Walmart for extension cords to hook up their Playstation in surround sound![]()
Yeah, but Dad still gets points for bringing in your laundry off the line. I think that clothes drying naturally outside on the clothesline smell fresher. Of course, clothes dried in a dryer with fabric softener smell good too but it's kind of artificial. I am adequate at the washing and drying but suck at the folding of the clothes. My wife has shown me more than once how to fold a T-shirt. Really, you can't get more basic than that, and still I can't do it properly. Guess I must be a klutz or somethin'.I washed and hung out my washing this morning on the line but didnt know I would be working late today and when I got home my dad had brought the washing in, bless him
He didnt fold it though. In my houshold, everyone folds their own.
For some reason laundry is an activity that I enjoy. Now, I still consider myself a novice even though I have been doing it on my own for several years. My most pressing concern is how to separate the ‘whites’ from the other stuff. Does it actually have to be white to be considered a white? These get bleach, right? After many years I find myself single once again so now may be the time to pay serious attention to this.
Now, I could jam it all in one washer and save a few quarters or do the right thing and make two separate loads. OK, this will be a two load occasion as I am trying to mend my ways. I also appreciate clean clothes. Yeah, I know what you are thinking, that shirt should have been pre-treated with Shout but who’s got time for that? An extra scoop of Oxi-Clean should take care of that little problem. Well, got two washers filled up and now its time to add some detergent. I prefer the liquid over the powder because the last time I used power the box tipped over and spilled all over the place.
Come on! Now a quarter is jammed. I don’t smash my hand against the coin thing anymore. I am older and wiser. I now use a little ball-peen hammer. A couple little taps usually does the trick. Oh, I forgot to separate the whites again. I will just use an extra capful of liquid Tide. What does HD mean anyway? Maybe the lady with the pretty hair a couple washers down knows. Oh, she is coming my way now. Perhaps she will be able to assist me in my troubles. I really hope so.
Things were fine until her boyfriend Bruno came over. He didn’t look too happy but maybe my little hammer in the laundry basket was a bit disconcerting to him. I am sorry too that he slipped on the puddle of liquid Tide I spilled on the floor and cracked his head against a dryer. He must feel a little helpless too. I recommended to him that he should treat the blood stains on his shirt with Shout before washing it. He gave me the finger. It turns out that Bruno was not her boyfriend but her brother. She smiled at me sweetly. I feel that it is all coming together. I am not sure what to do about the mountains of suds oozing out of the washers. Maybe it will bubble us clean? She just called me "Mr. Bubbles". I like that.
A laundry mat is an excellent venue to connect with other singles. My wife suggested to her adult daughter who is staying with us to consider going there and possibly meet a nice single guy, hopefully eventually getting married and get her own place.Haha. I gave up on separating the whites long ago by not buying white clothes and/or mixing them anyways. I leave true mastery of laundry to women. That’s what girlfriends are for, thanks be to God.
Our new home has a new dishwasher and fridge but no washer and dryer. It will be a priority to purchase these two appliances. For a married couple endless trips to the local laundry mat are a hassle. During are initial visit to the laundry mat we did notice what appeared to me several single men though. Basically, guys suck at properly doing laundry. Folding is problematic too.is it, I never noticed. I think its only in places like student dorms that you would meet single men. (who, most probably, are in huge debt after their first year)
Most laundry mats are frequented by those who dont have their own washing machines, its broken or have way too much washing to do.
One of my uncles owned a laundromat but hes sold the business now. I like the smell of them though. I cant imagine living somewhere without a washing machine, or if it has one not being allowed to use one
what a hassle not to have one, its worth the investment to have your own laundry in your own house (most new houses i assume have laundries...maybe it was only those built before the 1950s? ) and automatic washing machine. Dont really need a dryer though.
although my house doesnt have an automatic dishwasher and I cope fine. But they are an aboslute life saver in communal kitchens. (and teachers lounges, our staffroom has two)
