Yes, speaking of doing works and producing fruit

Ot in maintaining your salvation
This is a interpretation from the spirit. We are to walk in spirit and truth and to do only those things that we hear from Christ out Saviour so that his life may be lived in us and through us. That doesn't sound like deeds of law more like law of faith. You can speak of banning all you want with snide remarks but that doesn't change the truth. Some people don't have Spirit of Truth.

she gave him the apple to eat. he could have said no ....
Maybe it was a mango. Actually, the bible does not explicitly state what type of fruit was eaten. For all that we know it could've been a pistachio.

What was Adam, about two weeks old ?
We have no idea, except that subsequent to being expelled from the garden,
and he and Eve began to have children, we are told Adam's age at the time
of the birth of his third son, Seth.
When Adam was 130 years old, he had a son
in his own likeness, after his own image; and he named him Seth.

yes actually they are,

unless you keep every word, you are cursed, the curse of the law

no one, I mean no one (other than Christ) has fulfilled this part of the law. For all have sinned and fall short

what is the standard? The commands.. as james said, if you keep the whole law yet stumble in one point, your guilty of all the law.

he did not say willfully disobey in one away, he did not say purposely disobey, he said if we just stumble in one point, we are guilty
So when Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments he didn't really mean it or did he mean just keep them till I make the ultimate sacrifice for you then forget I ever mentioned them. Sorry what you say doesn't hold water. When Jesus said it clearly he meant it.

Whatever the fruit of the tree of knowledge is we sure have proof it's not on the shelf at Walmart.

I think he was expressing remorse and love by saying God had given her to him, not trying to avoid culpability.

God doesn't accept those who do not acknowledge their sin, but He accepted Adam
I think he was doing what we all do, and try to take blame out of self and put it on others

but I think God also knew his heart. Just because we are not told he repented does not mean he did not.

Or it could conversely also be said to be filling many of the shelves at Walmart, in that much of what is sold is based on pure greed and consumerism, goods that are thinly disguised money grabs, appealing to the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life ;)

It's almost like we were returned back to before the fruit of the tree of knowledge... We debate day after day about things but rarely ever agree with each other on anything. I've been watching this thread now for 47 pages and thinking that the if in the OP is one really big "if" because in https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=2 Thessalonians 2:4&version=KJV it says that he would sit in the Temple, so on the Sabbath(?) which means Sunday like in the OP is an if in the first place. But then it also says that he would exalt himself above all that's called God or worshiped so it don't look like he(SoP) enforces either day.

The tree of knowledge of good and evil ;) We do see evidence of it in the immeasurable amount of debt people accumulate buying unnecessary items that then cripple their finances and freedoms. Not to mention the greed of multi-national corporations which plunder, pillage, and waste natural resources to produce said goods while destroying the environment (with impunity!) due to their own greed.

Yes, and we do this by faith. Not to save ourselves, but to produce works

the banning comment was about another member, not you, I said I thought it was odd. I never said a thing about wanting you banned, you should chill some

what matters is the truth

if we claim we abide to maintain our salvation then we are not speaking truth

No I never said this do not put words in my mouth

the law specifically said if we fail to keep every word we are cursed,

that’s why we need saved. Because all have sinned

obeying Gods commands is a different subject for believers, because we know what we must do to live a life of obedience, which is what Jesus is talking about here

Could very well be. Pretty sure it wasn't a potato though.
True, although a tomato is a fruit,

I doubt it was a tomato though, nothing very “pleasing” about looking at a tomato
