Btw, I kinda wish the "Friendly" icon was a GREEN heart or something less Valentine-looking. On the flip side I'm thankful they actually have one designated for "Friendly".![]()
In the age of Covid 19, perhaps a fist bump would be more appropriate.Lol I always thought that.It looks more romantic than friendly. Maybe they need to replace it with a handshake.lol
I really don't know but I do know that "Ruffles have ridges".do some say potato chips ?

Because wine making is a craft, and good wine tastes great. same with beer, craft beers are very broad in flavors and smells, and really the same with whiskey like a single malt scotch where the barley is smoked over a peat fire and then it is stored in a sherry barrel so that it takes on a hint of the fruit and the oak.I don't know that I consider it judgemental, I have friends that have no issue with drinking and are Christians. They know I'm not interested, honestly I would be offended if they drank in front of me knowing my stand. As I said, no one has given me a positive reason for drinking. I really don't need the Bible here. I don't see why people would drink if the reason wasn't to get buzzed or drunk. So what's the point?
Not me! I hate alcohol and I wish no one would drink a drop! I dont either. But sadly the Bible isnt as radical as me!

that is a very nice touch for flavor.... you have me thinking to go get a few indulgent aromatic cigars dipped in cognac proper Ness of courseMe too, pretty rare, a beer with Clamato.
love you used the word pretzel (((This is about how I feel. I'm not going to pretzel the Bible either to fit my views, the Bible sadly allows alcohol consumption, and many - not all but many - people abuse their freedom and like to quote the Bible too as they lie to themselves and make light of it. People are so self indulgent, if it wasn't allowed, maybe everyone would be on crystal meth instead and say it isn't mentioned in the Bible as sin, who knows, it wouldn't surprise me...
Combination of a large number of people being alcohol abusers & social conditioning. The social conditioning thing can change though, if drinking non alcoholic drinks when socializing is normalized enough. There are a lot of people who don't like nor want a drink, but will go along in company so they don't look like an oddball or "offend" if it's some occasion. Speaking now generally not Christians only.
love you used the word pretzel ((()))
you said pretzel againI picked that phrase up from one atheist from YouTube, actually. She complained that we Christians pretzel everything, after I immensely frustrated her having a refutation to all her "Bible being immoral" complaints, she got enraged and shouted this in comments, but she had no other answer... I thought it was funny... Bless her and hope she's a believer now, wonder what she's doing in life. Since then I adopted "to pretzel something" whenever someone is twisting something to furnish their worldview.
Ive already heard it! They say "its not mentioned in the BIble" and they quote Jesus saying nothing that enters a man pollutes him but that which comes out of their heartPeople are so self indulgent, if it wasn't allowed, maybe everyone would be on crystal meth instead and say it isn't mentioned in the Bible as sin, who knows, it wouldn't surprise me...
Anything I'm excess is a sin.Ive already heard it! They say "its not mentioned in the BIble" and they quote Jesus saying nothing that enters a man pollutes him but that which comes out of their heart
IRONIC because drinking TOO MUCH is actually a sin called drunkenness and its achieved by....... something that enters the stomach too much.
In context Jesus was talking about eating with unwashed hands as the Pharisees complained to the disciples for not following their traditions.
Proverbs20:1 Wine [is] a mocker, strong drink [is] raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.
Who do you think is be mocked here, I think it is talking about GOD, That is the only one that I know that it could be talking about, Tell me one place in the BIBLE, that there was Alcohol being drunk and something bad didn't happen. I do not know of any.
