When someone has lost something of value, understanding the significance of that loss requires the heart. It is not merely information. For example, if a man tells you he lost his wife, you know from being a person with deep relationships with others what that means for him.
But if I try to communicate what the Son of God lost, it’s a matter in which we have no direct experience in so it’s not that easy.
How much thought have you given to the relationship between the Father and the Son before the incarnation? Can you see that this changed on the night of his birth?
that is a nice feely touch opinion, and I respect it. But if you have no direct experience, would your experience change what the word of God says that would speak against Jesus losing anything in context to the Cross?
Jesus won! and has complete Victory:
John 16:33 he overcame the world
John 17:4 Jesus brought Glory to the Father
Matthew 5:17 HE fulfilled the LAW = completed it " It is finished".
Gen 3:15 Jesus fulfilled prophecy
Victory over death, hell, and the grave,
Jesus settled atonement once and for all. no more bulls and ox and sheep needed.
all of this and YET we are MORE than a conquer. I ask you When Jesus said
"NO one take my life " I lay it down freely and have the POWER to take it back again". John 10:18
Saying this before the cross and HIS Passion. Show me where Jesus suffered loss on the Cross?
