So II Corinthians 11:2 says: "For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ." So, yes, we can probably conclude from this verse that the church is a "woman", or the bride of Christ.
But the original statement you made was "The Woman that is riding the Beast in Revelation, IS the Catholic Church, (because) A woman in prophecy, IS a Church.

You said he's the Papacy, not the Pope. But if you meant Pope, well he is not the Pope either. He is a Gentile King/ President in this case like all the others were. Why do you think we get Daniel 11 ? The Anti-Christ comes out of one of the Four Generals kingdoms in the LATTER TIME. He also has to arise out of the Fourth Beast. Only by combining Dan. 7 and Dan. 8 can we get the correct answer, he must ARISE out of both at the same time, only Greece out of the Four Kingdoms is in the E.U. so only Greece fits the prophecy.

Dan 7:1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.
Dan 7:2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
Dan 7:3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.
Daniel had a vision of 4 kingdoms that would come one after the other, and they were diverse one from another, which means they operated differently than each other.
These operations are the 4 ways of people, going by their own religion, going by their own wisdom, being physical cruel going against other people, and pushing for power, dominion.
Although all 4 kingdoms went by all 4 modes of operation 1 of those ways was their chief mode of operation with the other 3 as a minor mode of operation whatever that ratio was between the 3.
Dan 7:4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.
The first is Babylon which represents human religion, the occult.
They had eagle's wings because king Nebuchadnezzar acknowledged the God of Israel as the greatest of all the gods, and proclaimed throughout his kingdom that if anybody said anything against the God of Israel that they would be cut in pieces, and their house made a dunghill, and proclaimed the God of Israel when he died and knew his kingdom flourished because of Him.
His son knew what his father believed and proclaimed when he took the throne but took the vessels out of the temple of the LORD and drank out of them praising other gods so God stripped the kingdom from them and gave it to another which the wings were plucked from Babylon, and then they became known as the kingdom of man and represent all mankind who reject God and the truth.
Dan 7:5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.
The second is Medo-Persia and represents physical cruelty.
It raised itself up on one side which probably represents that the Persian influence was more dominant in that union, and the three ribs in the mouth of it are probably 3 nations in league with them.
The arise and devour much flesh is indication that they represent physical cruelty going against other people.
Dan 7:6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.
The third is Greece and represents human wisdom.
The 4 wings of a fowl could represent that they flew above the common man in higher mathematics, medicine, philosophy, and even had a great cultural impact on Rome, but not as high as when Babylon flew on eagle's wings.
The beast having 4 heads could be that when Alexander died his kingdom was split in to 4 sections with a ruler in each section with each having dominion over their section.
Dan 7:7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.
Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
The fourth is the Roman Empire which represents pushing for power, dominion, and was diverse from the other 3 for it was more determined to push for power and dominion and to rule over others than the other 3.
It had 10 horns which is in the future and is the world split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, and will pluck up 3 of those sections by the roots.
The antichrist comes from the 10 horns which came from the Roman Empire so the antichrist is from the Roman Empire, which the Bible says that the prince to come, the antichrist, comes from the people who overthrew Jerusalem which is the Roman Empire.
Dan 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.
Dan 7:10 A fiery stream issued and came forth from before him: thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him: the judgment was set, and the books were opened.
Dan 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.
This is at the end time so the Roman Empire has the dominion at the end time in which they pushed for power until their ways permeated the whole earth, and even though all nations came together in agreement to try to establish peace on earth the Roman Empire has the dominion, and the antichrist is the New Age Christ, which the new age movement paved the way to the beast kingdom which the new age movement seems to be heavily influenced by the Caucasian race and the plan to produce the New Age Christ so they can evolve to be greater and spiritual.
Dan 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.
The first 3 beasts will never have physical dominion again, but their ways are still on earth, and the Roman Empire does not lose her dominion until Jesus puts the world down.
Which as long as the 3 beasts ways are on earth they have not fallen yet which is represented in Daniel 2 when king Nebuchadnezzar had a dream of the 4 kingdoms but in the image of a man, and none of the kingdom's fall until Jesus hits the 10 toes, horns, the Roman Empire dominion, which is a future kingdom, then the 4 kingdoms fall and their ways are no more.
Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and the Roman Empire has not fallen yet for their ways are still on earth.
Which is how we understand the beast kingdom in Revelation 13.

So none of the kingdoms of the past was the kingdom of man in it's entirety for they lacked by having a chief mode of operation, and 3 minor ones, and still acknowledged a higher power even though they might have been going by their own religion somewhat, or their own wisdom, or being cruel, and pushing for power, dominion.
But the beast kingdom acknowledges no personal God, and believes in evolution as people's greatness and spirituality for they believe they are still evolving.
So it becomes the kingdom of man in it's entirety and no more having a chief mode of operation, and 3 minor modes of operation, but all 4 ways of people in their chief mode of operation with no minor role.
It has 10 horns, the dominion of the Roman Empire in it's chief mode of operation.
With the ways of a lion, Babylon, in their chief mode of operation, human religion, the occult, and the kingdom of man, which is why the beast kingdom if referred to as Babylon, but that is in spirit for Babylon will never have physical dominion again, but her ways are still on earth so she has not fallen yet, and the beast kingdom represents human religion, the occult, and the kingdom of man.
With the ways of a bear, Medo-Persia, in their chief mode of operation of physical cruelty to take away all people who oppose their kingdom a cruelty that has not been displayed in the past.
With the ways of a leopard, Greece, in their chief mode of operation of human wisdom.
With no acknowledging a personal God, and no input from God.
Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
We see that the Roman Empire has the dominion at the end time for it is the time for Jesus to take over the earth and rule, and the kingdoms end at the Roman Empire and the 3 prior beasts will never have physical dominion again.

The 3 horns, or kings he subdues which it states in 7:8 that he plucks them up by the roots will probably be the 3 sections of the world that cover the Arab nations for although the governments came together with the other nations the people of the Arab countries rebel saying it is an insult to Allah that their government is going against Islam and the world is hindering the spreading of Islam saying it is a hate crime as they say the only true religion is evolution and the new age movement as well as they stop the Gospel from being preached.
Which the 10 horn kingdom will rule for three and one half years which the religion of Islam rebels against the world and go forth fighting and their countries are devastated with nuclear weapons which is why they are plucked up by the roots which that war is so terrible that the world lost hope for peace, and was in despair.
Which the 7 heads of the beast are the 7 kingdoms prior to the 8th king the beast and one of his heads was wounded like unto death which is the 10 horn kingdom the 7th king, head, which the world lost hope, and was in despair.
But the beast restored hope, and caused them to believe that they can still achieve peace on earth, and the deadly wound was healed and he ruled for three and one half years which they made war against the saints, the great tribulation.
Dan 7:26 But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.
Dan 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Dan 7:28 Hitherto is the end of the matter. As for me Daniel, my cogitations much troubled me, and my countenance changed in me: but I kept the matter in my heart.
Then the saints that remain on earth Jesus gets off the earth, and comes back with the saints, and He defeats the world, and Jesus and the saints take over the earth and rule over the people that God spared at the battle of Armageddon.
Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.
You can apply the kingdoms in Daniel 7 coming after each other in Daniel 8, and this is speaking of the antichrist
that is in the future which Jesus shall destroy the antichrist with the brightness of His coming.

The only thing we get in the bible about Antiochus is Daniel 11:21-33-maybe 34. We can tell via Gabriels INTERPRETATION that Daniel 8 is about the End Time Anti-Christ/Little Horn/Beast.
Daniel 8:8 Therefore the he goat waxed very great:(1) and when he was strong, the great horn was broken; and for it came up four notable ones toward the four winds of heaven. 9 And out of one of them came forth a little horn(2), which waxed exceeding great, toward the south, and toward the east, and toward the pleasant land (3). 10 And it waxed great, even to the host of heaven(4); and it cast down some of the host and of the stars to the ground, and stamped upon them.

This MANY is referring to Israel AND Many people/Nations that he Conquers to become THE BEAST in the region. We can see all the Nations in Dan. 11. All of North Africa, Israel, and MANY COUNTRIES he rolls through, {Lebanon/Syria maybe Turkey}.
17.) He STANDS up against Jesus {Prince of princes}.
18.) But he is BROKEN {Killed} Without Hands just like Daniel 2 says, the Rock {Jesus} is hewn out of the Mountain and it SMASHES the Great Statue to smithereens WITHOUT HANDS !! It means God/Jesus SPEAKS VICTORY !! Just like they SPOKE CREATION !! Amen.

after this we have a ram, which swiftly and great speed overtook the goat. this ram had a horn between his eyes, this of course represents Alexander the Great, who swiftly almost as if he did not even touch the ground, took the goat as if the goat did not even put up a fight, Alexander gained much land, much more then the Medes and Persians did, at the end, when Alexander could have reaped the benefits, he suddenly died, in his place 4 generals took over the empire. This is represented by the one horn breaking and 4 coming in its place.

Its actually 5 Gentile Kingdoms or Kings who start Kingdoms which rule over the Mediterranean Sea Region AND Israel, even when Israel was in Egypt they were Beasted over by Egypt who was the first head of the 7 Headed Revelation Beast. The Little Horn arises out of the Fourth Beasts Head, which only means he has the exact same footprint as the Fourth Beast or he looks like his Papa, Rome. So the Little Hoen ARISES 2000 years after the Beast System has disappeared, there could be no Beast with no Israel, and God saw Israel as Dead Men's Bones, this is why England/Brits and the Ottoman Empire are not Beasts. In 1948, Israel once again became a united people, God REVIVED THEM, and placed them back in their land, now, and ONLY NOW, can there be a Beast again, once the Church is Raptured or as 2 Thess. 2 says once we DEPART before the DOTL. Then the European President will Conquer Israel AND the MANY as seen in Daniel 11:40-43. It means MANY Nations, not just Israel, you can't be a Beast without being over the whole Mediterranean Sea Region.
Until we get to verse 8, then just like Daniel 11:36 is SWITCHES to the end time Kings (Anti-Christ/Little Horn) as I showed you in the other post. There are identifiers that match ONLY the end-time Beast.
The Prince of princes he battles is Capitalized, so its about Jesus, and only Jesus fights his battles WITHOUT HANDS just as Dan. 2 we see that God destroys the Beast System and the Beast WITHOUT HANDS: SE Verses 34 and 45. And 2 Thess. 2:8 also shows this !!
Dan. 2:34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
2 Thess. 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
So Jesus DESTROYS the Beast by his mere COMING......WITHOUT HANDS !! That is what the Without Hands also means in Dan. 8 brother. Then in verse 25 he also destroys MANY BY PEACE, and we see the same reference to MANY in Daniel 9:27 and Dan. 11:40-43.
Dan. 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant WITH MANY for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
Dan. 11:40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north(1) shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries (2), and shall overflow and pass over.
41 He shall enter also into the glorious land (3), AND MANY countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of his hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon(4).
42 He shall stretch forth his hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. 43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps(5).
So, in Daniel 8:25 he DESTROYS MANY by Peace and in Rev. 6 at the 2nd Seal he takes away Peace from the earth !! In Dan. 9:27 we see he signs Peace Treaties with not only Israel but WITH MANY [Nations]. We can see this pattern picked up in Dan. chapter 11 where the writer SPECIFICALLY NAMES the Many hes been taling about.
We see the King of the South, which I assume will be a Conglomorete of Nations or maybe Turkey, he PUSHES at the E.U. President (1) {Anti-Christ} and then the A.C. comes at him hard, he then rolls into the Countries (2) as verse 40 also says, which I assume are Syria and Lebanon since he comes out of the Northwest as Dan 8:9 says. Then he Conquers Israel (3) AND MANY Countries are overthrown !!
We then see that the region of Petra/Bozrah ESCAPES out of his hand(4), meaning God does not allow him to Conquer this region, because this is where Israel flees unto and are protected by God during this 70th week period of tribulstion. We also know that Edom, Moab, and Ammon are in Central/Southern Jordan.
Finally we see that all of North Africa is Conquered by the Anti-Christ (5), the lands of Egypt, Libya and the Ethiopians will not escape from this mans vicious tyranical plans. Thus THE MANY are not just Israel, they are the Nations that make up the Mediterranean Sea Region as a wholre.

Antiochus does not match anything in Daniel 8 per se, besides being THE TYPE of the coming Anti-Christ. So he matches in that he was the ARCH TYPE, but he doesn't match in that he did not come against the Prince of princes {Jesus} who defeats WITHOUT HANDS. He is that the King of fierce countenance who destroys MANY BY PEACE, please name anyone Antiochus destroyed via PEACE !! Verse 23 starts out IN THE LATTER TIME of their Kingdom, well, Greece is still around !!

The Seventh Day Adventists accepted this idea from the Reformers and swallowed it hook. line, and sinker. They even RE-INTERPRETED the 2,300 days (evenings and mornings) in Daniel 8 to mean 2,300 years. But that is simply playing fast and loose with Bible prophecy. And you have decided to simply follow along with SDA teachings.
I will briefly say, that historical documentation shows that the Seventh-day Adventists did not originate the 2,300 meaning years, and has been around for quite some time, and existed long before 1843/44, 1863. Would you like me to document this for you?
