you want to go all over the place, they do not prove your point man

do you know what this means? Do you understand that means a nation of people have repented, tossed their Talmud out, rejected all forms of phariseeism, and judaism, and got on their knees like the tax collector and came to Christ?

You are saying that flesh Israel is who the promises belong to.

Dave-L is explaining to you that it is biblical Israel, the body of believers, who the promises belong to.

then why has Christ not yet assumed kingship over the land of Canaan as the Bible prophesied he will?

There was a verse that related to Abraham, which I can't remember exactly where it is, where it said Abraham lifted his eyes and looked afar off.

I often wondered what he was seeing when he did this. In my mind I kind of thought maybe it was the death, burial and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

But now I wonder if it was the kingdom of God.

God did not promise spirit Israel a plot of land after they were slaves for 400 years in Egypt as A gift for them and all of their generations as eternal inheritance

Even david looked at the kingdom, not the land and law

then,i god is the most important thing we will ever recieve but it does not mean gifts God gives us are meaningless, we should take them and use them for gods purpose

israel failed to do this and babylon and Rome were gods punishment for failing to do this.

it does not mean God will still not keep his promise and his gift,

he promised the world would see through Israel him and all come to worship him

that has not happened yet, it is either future, or God lied.

He did in his resurrection, now seated on David's throne in heavenly Jerusalem above. But only the born again can grasp this.

(Not saying all people who agree with you hate the Jews, OT all do. They have a love for them like I do, wanting all of them to be saved, like we want all the world to be saved)

people call the us evil because they hate us, not because they are being nice,

Davids throne is in jerusalem not heaven

i can not go to heaven once a year to worship Jesus as the Bible says I will be required to do. And punished if I do not go

Zechariah 14:17
And it shall be that whichever of the families of the earth do not come up to Jerusalemto worship the King, the Lord of hosts, on them there will be no rain.

I can't argue as if I know for 100% this is the way it is. I'm just trying to put the puzzle pieces together that I KNOW about...


But for sure, you don't believe that the Land Promises are the Kingdom of God?

We are the Temple of God in the New Covenant. We are a holy nation. And dwell in heavenly Jerusalem above. But again, only the born again can see and take part in this.
