At the end of the day, this is still making money out of religion, and certainly is NOT the spirit in which the Lord Jesus and the apostles preached/taught the Gospel! Matt 10v6, Acts 3v6, 20v33, 2Cor 8v9.

Nowhere do I read in the Scriptures that the Lord Jesus, after He preached the Sermon on the Mount, that He wrote a book on it and sold it, or that Paul, Peter, James, Jude or John after God the Holy Spirit inspired their epistles/gospels published them with a view to making money!

It was money, wealth and riches that destroyed the Laodicean Church (Rev 3v17) and the same has destroyed many churches in the West and around the world today...It's long past the time that the Church got back to the spirit/principles/practices of the early Church, and earnestly seek God for His plans and power to fulfil those plans. Acts 2v40-47, 4v29-31.

I guess you're not understanding what I said.
Some people have higher paying skills than others.
That doesn't mean they love money and are longing for riches.
It just means they make more in 40 hrs. than other people because their skills are worth more.

Yep, that's what I was saying. We shouldn't judge people just because they have wealth. Pastor's included. Though I admit it doesn't look good when pastors are rich.

Pastors shouldn't be asking for money so unbelievers don't slander the Gospel and call Christians conmen because of them! Believers should help support pastors on their own out of their love, not because the Pastors asked for it!

Paul’s right to be supported is limited to his basic needs and anything he needs to travel to preach the Gospel. He was well content with just food and clothing, as he wrote to Timothy, unlike preachers today who get salaries way above what they need to get basic needs met.

The logical contradiction is yours because you don’t even agree with what Jesus said about freely giving what you freely received. Are you for or against Jesus, ask yourself.

This is a perverse generation. It is no surprise why Christendom is rife with false teachings and cults, all for the pursuit of wealth by godless men who claim to represent Christ.

Receiving salaries is totally different from being supported by the church for BASIC NEEDS. Mock on, you are just showing in front of everyone what your heart is set on: riches rather than God.

what Paul wrote to Timothy in his first letter, about how to operate the church is scripture. And he said pay those who diligently work in the ministry, preaching and teaching.

I’m not upset at anyone, it is you guys upset that someone like me dare to speak out against the corruption and hypocrisy of preachers today. Your lack of love for God is glaringly obvious.

Exactly. But the greedy will always defend and justify their greed, it just shows they don’t love God or Jesus at all.

The prophecy of Isaiah still applies to modern day Pharisees: they worship God with their lips but their hearts are far from Him.

If Jesus was here on earth again today, I wonder whether they will crucify Him for calling them hypocrites just like the ancient Pharisees did.

I don’t even need to prove it, rich false pastors are all over the TV and computer screens. I’ve just not named them yet. It’s your burden of proof to show me the majority of rich preachers are not false.
