I am a little confused, you want to be saved, have received the free gift of salvation?

Well turtle, I do not know you well, but if you are saved best to stop worrying and not focus only on your sin but on the righteousness of Christ... we always get into trouble when we over focus on sin.

If you have believed on Him for salvation you have been obedient. :)

He has been building his church since Adam and Eve, and he will continue to build it until it is completed. The foundation of his church is the apostles and prophets, and the cornerstone is christ himself.

I wonder if people understand the picture jesus drew of what God thinks of us by calling us sheep? I think that is lost on many people.

One thing I know for sure is, SHEEP are REALLY DUMB animals. I mean, they are DUMB. Thats why we need the shepherd amen?

Lord knows im so dumb I see "NO SERVICE" on my phone and turn back on my way to church on sunday, thinking the service is cancelled!

It's clear they departed from trust in Christ for justification--the gospel they first received--and were serving another gospel, a gospel of the works of the law for justification. Paul made it clear that you have fallen from grace and lose the effect of Christ in justification when you do that.

"4Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace." - Galatians 5:4 KJV

Once saved always saved has to make so many verses not really mean what they say.

I do, I am sorry for confusing language. I am just in distress so to speak. I believe on Him alone for salvation, not my anything, but empty hand. I want to stop that me me me righteousness. I do not want to be one of the ones who say Lord, Lord did we not do this that and the other?

Nothing includes me

I can not seperate myself from the love of God. If I could then SOMETHING could seperate us from the love of God. Which means the author lied By saying nothing can

But non of them determine a mans salvation

Thy determine how blessed we are in this life. And how much power we have to produce fruit.

You can not mix sanctification and justification. Doing so makes the gospel a false gospel. And can only lead to on outcome.

The penalty of sin is death

one sin your done, Which means in the grand scheme of things, your just as guilty as they were.

Stop excusing your own sin and repent.

It's about BELIEVING.
Genuinely hold fast that which you received and believed in the beginning about the forgiveness of sins through Christ's blood and you'll be fine. If you keep that as the foundation of your relationship with God He will lead you into all the rest.

the worked iniquity BECAUSE THEY WERE NEVER SAVED, even their GOOD WORKS or WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS were considered works of iniquity. Because they were SELF RIGHTEOUS works. Not works which proceeded out of being born of God. As the Bible says, THEY WERE GODS ENEMY, As john said,

HE NEVER KNEW YOU.

How can God lie and say he never knew you if you were once adopted as his child, saved, given his spirit, and made a part of his family?

Plus we have the words of John, Not only did God not know them, but they NEVER KNEW GOD.

1 john 3: Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him.

7 Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. 8 He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.

Which means, as usual, You also are calling the apostle John a liar.

You just got my point

Sheep can be so dumb they do not realize they are in danger when they are. Sadly, we see so many who act just like sheep. They think they are ok when the wolf is standing right next to them ready to feast.

We need to become like sheep if we are to enter the fold

Unbelief

it seperated the jews from God in the OT

and has been separating gentiles and jew alike since the beginning of time.
