Christ is our sacrifice based on the sacrifice system. If Adam was not under Law or under Grace, by what atonement system did He participate?
Was Abraham under the law?
Was Noah under the law?

Are they saved if not.
If not why not, if so why so?

David was under the law and should have been put to death yet we see he was not.
Why is that?

Under the law of Moses, Abraham would have fell foul of the law.
Yet also if Moses tried to obey the command given to Abraham then he would fallen foul of the law.

Yet I say both were saved.
I don't think Moses was under the law.
He gave it to Israel before they entered the promised land yet he would not enter that land therefore not under the law given.

If my thoughts are correct was Moses saved?

I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven Jesus said......my personal view.....Genesis 1, 2 is a renovation of what was destroyed when Satan was cast out.....there are a few scriptures that seem to hint at this.......many reject this, not a test of fellowship, but what I believe based upon my 30 plus years of study.....

oh good

a diversion

Adam was human and sinful, God is spirit and sinless.

If you argue, I shall give you a red cross.
So when God said let us make man in our own image he created a sinful human?

I’ve read accounts where folks think Adam and Eve would have lived for ever there’s nothing that says that was the case in the garden just the opposite is stated, they must not eat of the tree of life for they would have lived for ever sounds pretty much like they had a lifespan in the garden regardless of eating the forbidden fruit or not
But if they had not eaten would they still be alive today?

We know they did, if so then we must assume God knew they would.

Question: "What does the Bible say about holiness? What does it mean to be holy?"

Answer:
In 1 Peter 1:13-16, Peter writes to believers, "Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance, but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, 'You shall be holy, for I am holy.'" Peter is quoting from Leviticus 11:44 and Leviticus 19:2.

Then read what the Bible says

“Who is like Thee among the gods, O LORD? Who is like Thee, majestic in holiness, Awesome in praises, working wonders? (Exodus 15:11).

“There is no one holy like the LORD, Indeed, there is no one besides Thee, Nor is there any rock like our God (1 Samuel 2:2).

There is no one like Thee among the gods, O Lord; Nor are there any works like Thine. 9 All nations whom Thou hast made shall come and worship before Thee, O Lord; And they shall glorify Thy name. 10 For Thou art great and doest wondrous deeds; Thou alone art God.
(Psalms 86:8-10;

see also Psalm 99:1-3; Isaiah 40:25; 57:15).
These verses are irrelevant to your assertion, "Adam was flesh and eventually all flesh sins."

God said they could eat of every tree in the garden EXCEPT ONE.....included within the acceptable trees WAS the tree of LIFE.....the implication was clear....the inly reason they were drove out was to exclude them from the tree of life AFTER eating from the tree of the knowledge of GOOD and EVIL......

Interesting to note that that tree ALSO contained the KNOWLEDGE of what was GOOD!

Was Adam made Holy and did he live there in Holiness. We know Adam fell, but did he live in holiness before his fall
Holiness is SEPARATION from sin and evil. Since there was no sin and evil in the world before the Fall, then the issue is TOTALLY IRRElEVANT.

God created Adam and Eve as perfect and innocent creatures. But He put a test before them. And they failed that test miserably.

I agree Nehem, but people have asked me and it may worthwhile
to teach scripture so that they can learn. If they disregard scripture
then it is on their heads.

No one is saying we can be like God in holiness
but we can and are considered holy by God by faith
in repentance, and Christ died for us so we may
see God.

Considering all the many verse indicating we are a Holy people
then it should be a blessing to all who worship the Lamb.

Thank you for your posts.

There have been some really excellent posts from scripture,
you people know so much and are educated. Marvellous posts.

The strange thing is I feel most of you agree in the basics
that God made Adam and Eve holy so they could commune with their maker.

After Adam fell all creation fell with him as Federal head and although
Adam fell he still spoke with God.

Can you imagine all the things Adam spoke about with God
and how he related these conversations with his family so that
they were carried on amongst them; a peculiar people set aside
until the whole of mankind was called to worship their creator.

And we are a special people, set aside from the world, and we must love one another
and not fight, we must share each other's witness, we must seek unity in Christ.
We should worship God in our conversations wishing only the best on each other
like little children, even children know that if the fall out they will have no one
to share with. Let us be then like little children. Amen.

Magenta, be careful with your doctrine. :)
Men has seen Jesus, and Jesus is God. but Jesus is fully man also, they saw the Man Jesus
the Bible states no man has seen God.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son,
which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (KJV)
Who did Jacob wrestle with?

So Jacob named the place Peniel, for he said, "I have seen God face to face, yet my life has been preserved."
Gensis 32:30

"He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me."
John 12:45

In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord sitting on a throne,
lofty and exalted, with the train of His robe filling the temple

Isaiah 6:1

Then I said, "Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man
of unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts."

Isaiah 6:5

Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.
Psalm 63:2

"I have heard of You by the hearing of the ear; But now my eye sees You;
Job 42:5

I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and He said,
"Smite the capitals so that the thresholds will shake,
And break them on the heads of them all! Then I will
slay the rest of them with the sword; They will not have
a fugitive who will flee, Or a refugee who will escape.

Amos 9:1

Then she called the name of the LORD who spoke to her, "You are a God
who sees"; for she said, "Have I even remained alive here after seeing Him?"

Genesis 16:13

and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a
pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. and they saw the God of Israel;
Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel;
and they saw God, and they ate and drank.

Exodus 24:10-11

So Manoah said to his wife, "We will surely die, for we have seen God."
Judges 13:22

"If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also;
from now on you know Him, and have seen Him."

John 14:7

Jesus said to him, "Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know
Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?"

John 14:9

Very good bible quotations Magenta, excellent.
These are true, however the Word says explicitly no man has seen God at any time.

So we have to reconcile these biblical statement so that they agree.

In the OT God met with men many times it is true, but this was not with the Father
it was with the pre-incarnate God - the Logos - Jesus Christ - the Angel of the Lord (who is God himself)

No man has seen the Father only Jesus Christ.
The only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the WORD
The Word spoke let there be light and there was Light
It is Jesus who made the world, yet all three are involved. :)

Many times the OT saint speak of seeing God, but in visions and dreams,
sometimes as Angels look at the account of the Tree of Marme
they were three angels representing the Trinity.

I hope I haven't offended you by disagreeing.

It is very important to understand this, Jesus is our intermediately,
He represents us to the throne of God.

He is God and He is our Redeemer,
He is our high priest
If we wish to see the Father we must look at HIM (Jesus)

Jesus is there in the beginning, Let us make man in our own image.

The fullness of the deity is seen bodily in Him (Jesus)

blessings. :)

He didn't block the way to the tree for life until there was death in them. the key to this is asking what's different about eating from the tree of life after you've been poisoned by the other tree, as opposed to eating from it when you haven't been poisoned with death? there's no record of being forbidden from the tree of life before they ate that fruit.

That is out of context, when Jesus said that he was speaking about earth lightning falling from the sky the first heaven the earths atmosphere why because he said see he had given them power to tread on snakes and scorpions and the power of the enemy, he saw satan power fall like lighting meaning real quick.

Luke 10
19See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will harm you.

they ate food the knowledge tree wasn’t the only food source.

The universe is still around, nothing says they would have lived in human form beyond the universe the universe has a lifespan. I’m not saying it would of been that long but it could have very well could been that long.

No he did not but it’s clear in scripture that in order for a human to live for ever takes both trees being eaten from.
