Amen. The gospel is simple, repent of our sins, accept Christs forgiveness through the cross and with
the power of the Holy Spirit walk in His ways.

In my experience assurance comes from two realities,
1. How far we are from God, lost in our behaviour
2. How much Christ paid and did through the cross in raw pain, love, sacrifice
It takes time to learn these two realities and how love can grow through every aspect of our lives.
I feel privileged to have seen love in action with my kids and in my church. To grow up with little
support and then to live in a family were we gave all we could was like night and day.
Opening the doors in our hearts, stepping out in faith, taking risks, or apparent ones, begins to lay
the foundations of what life is eternity and with Jesus and how lost the world truly is.

It takes time to learn these two realities and how love can grow through every aspect of our lives.

Jesus the more we are aware our immediate responses are often wrong, distorted, selfish,
defensive and fearful.
In a sense of the Spirit, I feel closer to the Lord than ever before.
But the next steps are always all we know, rather than quite how things will work out.
When you read Pauls letters, he was told he would suffer but not quite how and where.
So rather than this being a sad state of existence, this is where I trust in Him and His ways,
not mine or knowing which outcome will come to the fore except Praise to His glorious Name,
Amen.

defensive and fearful.

AMEN.....can you imagine someone saying you do not need to study....no wonder he is false and spreading a satanic dogma that will not save....
My bible is clear....it is FAITH that has overcome and gotten me the victory....and contrary to his lie....we are saved at the moment of belief....it i NOT SOMETHING we must gain through human effort.....
