A bit off topic, but apropos with just how dramatically faster we are moving toward true persecution: This from a gentleman on Facebook: David Fink
Today we went to minister at the Kentuckiana pride festival. We were spit on and cursed, we had people screaming at us.I got hit in the face with a bag of dog crap that someone threw at me while I was having a conversation with another person. We saw many people with young children going into the festival as well as many men and women who were pretty much naked. We saw 14 or 15 year old boys and girls walking around sucking on rainbow striped lollipops that were shaped like male genitalia. They were also serving corndogs shaped like penises and serving bananas for the children. We saw parents putting rainbow striped dog collars on their infants. We heard stories from young people about how they were sexually abused. We heard people cheer for anal sex while they were given CDC facts about the dangers of HIV in the homosexual community. Among all of this there was a pretty decent sized crowd of people who stayed around and listened to the gospel for quite some time. There were hundreds of tracts given out and gospel conversations had. Christs name was lifted up and hope was offered to the lost who were so obviously straining under the weight of their sin. If you think this pride thing is all about love and that children are not being targeted and indoctrinated with this destructive lifestyle then you are not paying attention. May the Lord have mercy!
(About the cross....
My brother Bryan, was holding the cross at the Louisville Pride Festival, and many individuals came up to the cross to place their LGBTQ stickers on it, to mock him. At first, he started taking them off, but he decided to keep them on. This was symbolic imagery, showing how Christ died for the sin of homosexuality and the lifestyle. When individuals would walk up to the cross, he would tell them "Christ died for the sin of homosexuality and shed his blood for it. Repent and believe.")
