Now your QUESTION DOES NOT COMPUTE. WHY ? ? ? You tied in LOWEST POINT OF TRUST IN GOD, which would NEVER HAPPEN. Did I have bad times, absolutely, BUT I KNEW HE WOULD NOT LET ME GO THRU MORE THAN I COULD BARE. There is NOTHING that happens to a christian that does not prepare him to be a better witness to those going thru that same kind of Problems, and therefore I can be a comfort to the Brethren.
For example the Death of my Wife was a VERY TRYING time for me, but I KNEW I had to speak to the family that were gathered for the Memorial Service. Therefore I spoke on how I knew where my Wife was, with the LORD, and then I told my personal Testimony, because I knew there were several in the family that were YET to know the LORD. I have understood that almost from the beginning, that the LORD allows negative things to happen to us, so that we will be a better witness to others.
YES my Wife's death was a serious GRIEF trip. I cried so much and I even when I got here, I wondered when the GRIEF would end. And posted a Thread about it. And leaned on Brothers and Sister in Christ, who were very kind, and caring, and a comfort to me. But Doubt the LORD would not carry me through, never.
Matthew 6:25-34 (ESV)
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
27 And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?
28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin,
29 yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
32 For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.
33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
34 “Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.
1 Corinthians 10:13 (NJB)
13 None of the trials which have come upon you is more than a human being can stand. You can trust that God will not let you be put to the test beyond your strength, but with any trial will also provide a way out by enabling you to put up with it.
That is why I learned early in my Christian Walk, to TRUST HIM. How long did the Grief last? About a year and a half. HE slowly allowed it to become fond memories, and wanting to go home in heaven, and determined to do what I can to encourage others here.
