I agreed with you full wholeheartedly until the "what if you're wrong? You've just blasphemed the Holy Spirit." part. Really? You believe you can accidentally comment the unforgivable sin like that? I have to strongly disagree with that, but everything up to that part about a follower of Jesus committing this sin in this way, I agreed with. I think that's way too far.

The worst part I see about this issue is the division and lack of trust in God to lead His children to Himself, I don't believe as I did almost 6 years ago when I was born again, WAY different. We grow and need to leave room and trust in God for that. All we can do is the best we can to live our testimonies every moment, but we only have "right now", it's all about our actions "right now", We share what God has open our eyes to in love and even listen to them. You never know, you may be the one that learns something.
Ok, exclude that last statement.

What is the consequence of finding out you were wrong for believing in cessation?

I never said it wasn’t languages. What are you saying.? You’re not making any sense.
Regardless of any of that, the point of the gifts is being missed by most people. It served its purpose. The bible is quite clear about that.
I was a part of Pentecostal churches for 20 years, I spoke in tongues, which is mindless babble, not an actual language. It’s a joke and demonic. It is Satan laughing at God and His people. It makes me sick to think I was deceived and allowed myself to be fooled into believing that garbage.
Mark 3:22And the teachers of the law who came down from Jerusalem said, “He is possessed by Beelzebul! By the prince of demons he is driving out demons.”
23So Jesus called them over to him and began to speak to them in parables: “How can Satan drive out Satan? 24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand. 26And if Satan opposes himself and is divided, he cannot stand; his end has come. 27In fact, no one can enter a strong man’s house without first tying him up. Then he can plunder the strong man’s house.28Truly I tell you, people can be forgiven all their sins and every slander they utter, 29but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.”
30He said this because they were saying, “He has an impure spirit.”

I would invite you to hold whatever opinion you want to, but never, EVER say that again. It's time to stop soft pedaling and call out the warning. YOU JUST VIOLATED MARK 3. Disagree all you want but I BEG you to never do that again.

Well the bright side is I have learned a lot and now know a lot more truth and understand the bible a lot better than before.
My beliefs are in a very small minority maybe one percent of Christianity. From what I have seen in almost every church is false doctrine upon false doctrine. People accept what they are taught and don’t really study the bible for themselves to find out the truth.
Not only that the English translation of the bible is full of errors which give more cover to some false beliefs.
Your comment about the bible being full of errors that cause people to acquire false beliefs is nonsense. If that statement were so God would be unable to judge people fairly. And God is a just God!

How can someone be judged for rejecting God's word if what we have at our disposal is corrupted?

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak." John 12:48-50

The gifts served their purpose.. it’s over.
And in obedience to 1 Cor 14:

36Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached? 37If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command. 38But if anyone ignores this, they will themselves be ignored.

You are now on ignore

Example one “HELL”. Is not in the original Greek language, the word is Gehenna.
Two, translators use the pronoun He or himself for the Holy Spirit but in the Greek it is neuter.
Three, baptism is transliterated from baptism in Greek, but should be transliterated as “”immersed”
Four, paradise is the same, it is from paradiso in Greek but it means a lush garden or park.
Five, pneuma in Greek and ruach in Hebrew mean breath and wind in the literal sense and spirit in the non literal sense, but translators will almost always use spirit when they translate scripture which can be misleading..
Six, Ecclesiastes 3v18 in the NIV The translators add “like” but again it is not in the original Hebrew.
I also said to myself, “As for humans, God tests them so that they may see that they are [like]the animals
I can go on and on theses a just a few simple examples.

You misunderstand the point of what I said. But look don’t think God is going to condemn someone for grammar mistakes, that would be silly and uncharacteristic of a loving perfect God.

There are so many examples of poorly translated scriptures it is not funny. Here is an other

Here is another example, but understand the list is very extensive, believe me.

The NKJV translates it, “Then they said to Him, "Who are You?" And Jesus said to them, "Just what I have been saying to you from the beginning.”

But the correct translation is as follows:

John 8:25 LGV “Then they said to Him, “Who are you?” And Jesus said to them, “The Beginning, and that which I am saying to you.”

The Douay Rheims version also translates it correctly.
John 8:25 DRV

25 They said therefore to him: Who art thou? Jesus said to them: "The beginning, who also speak unto you."

Regardless of whether the word of God is corrupted, people who reject God are proud and do not want to accept God anyway.
God gives grace to the humble but rejects the proud.
Wicked people all share a common trait, and that is pride. Read through the Psalms and the comparison is always clear.
God destroys the wicked and proud people, but gives eternal life to the righteous, those who are humble and accept God.
You do not have to believe in Jesus or His Father to inherit eternal life [if you are not a believer]. The people who need to be careful are the people who call themselves Christians and go around quoting scripture left right and centre and they do not even understand what the hell they are saying.
Each book of the bible had a specific audience it was addressing with a specific message or point.
The bible is not written to me or you. You can't take the bible and say this is what this scripture means to me. That is ridiculous. That would cause the bible to be an extremely disjointed jumble of scriptures.
The bible is preserved for us to learn from yes, but it is not written to us.

I haven't violated Mark 3. I am not sorry. You quote scripture but do not understand it.

Below is a scripture that fits perfectly with those who speak in tongues, which in the churches of today is mindless blabber, incoherent garbage spouting out of the mouths of the deceived.

Matthew 7v22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’23Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

The holy spirit is ''The Spirit'' of The Father and the people who said those things against His, The Father's Spirit were blasphing because they saw The Father doing the miracles through Jesus and were rejecting Him. The Holy Spirit is not a third person.
There is but One God The Father and One Lord Jesus Christ who is the Son of God, the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of The Father.

It's just like you said earlier; was one's heart right with God. Heart is more important than head.

Where does the bible state that the gifts will cease prior to the fulfillment of the church's ministry? It does not. It states when that which is perfect is come; meaning Jesus. Spiritual gifts will no longer be needed when Jesus returns for the church; His bride.
The bible is clear the gifts were only imparted by the apostles of Christ..so after their deaths the gifts could no longer be imparted.. conclusion it’s over man! Simple. If you’re happy to speak in senseless blabber be my guest, it’s at your peril.

Well I am very sorry to have offended you with that statement you highlighted. So if you have studied so diligently then you cannot get around the fact that the gifts of the spirit were only imparted by the 12 apostles of Christ. The gift of languages was a specific message to the unbelieving Jews in an intelligible language not mindless blabber that I have seen in churches and once also spoke.
Once the apostles died and those they had imparted any gifts also died the gifts were no longer available. The gifts served their purpose.. it’s over.
It is edgy isn’t it! Lol

Yes. In the context of the bible and the supernatural gifts as recorded in the time of Jesus and the apostles in the early congregations of believers, yes they have ceased. However, can God choose to heal a person now? Of course He can. He can do whatever He wants, when He wants. Healing etc is what we will receive in the resurrection. That’s part of our hope as Christians, ever lasting life with perfect health in a perfect new earth, free of evil people.
The truth hurts and is difficult to understand for those that are deceived. Believing in tongues which is always mindless blabber in any church I have attended is a joke...Sad when people do not understand the bible...they quote New Testament scripture completely oblivious to its Old Testament origins..Even if it was still a part of the congregation, the bible makes it clear it is not for every believer and only two or three should speak in turn... but churches today are filled with ridiculous blabbering all at once...unbiblical at every level...
They think of themselves superior to others because the can speak in gibberish. Good luck at judgement when Jesus will say I never knew you.

But that is quite different than requiring tongues for every believer - or saying that you must speak in tongues to be a "real" Christian.
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

to be honest I think Acts 2 does describe what you're saying here. Let's read what it says.

2 When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. 2 And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. 3 And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.

"Praise Jesus!!!"
5 Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven. 6 And at this sound the multitude came together, and they were bewildered, because each one was hearing them speak in his own language. 7 And they were amazed and astonished, saying, “Are not all these who are speaking Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each of us in his own native language? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites and residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya belonging to Cyrene, and visitors from Rome, 11 both Jews and proselytes, Cretans and Arabians—we hear them telling in our own tongues the mighty works of God.”

Now I can see a case being made that maybe different people were speaking in different tongues, like each group had someone speaking in their tongue, but to be honest I think the text supports what he is saying more. I do not believe this 1 event defines completely what tongues is, as in I think in different parts of the Bible tongues is described a bit differently that expands on what tongues is and is used in a believers life.
Atleast someone got it :)
