Yes, It does not say they stopped those sins, it says they were washed, Justified and sanctified.
Another falsehood..

It does say they stopped. WERE some of you...... do you think Paul is just mouthing off a list saying yeah all the nonbelievers do those they go to hell but you get a free pass since you believe? I see from your avatar talking with you is a waste of time, talking about some amerikkkan soldiers and mentioning them along with Jesus. Borderline blasphemy. Gonna put your wickedness on ignore

You think God is just putting magic covers on people playing peek-aboo with their sins? God has no problem seeing the sins of CHRISTIANS. Read Ephesians 5: written to the CHURCH. Disobedient get wrath. God is HOLY, plays no favorites and is not unfair

All men are liars until they repent

Remember the saved in sin crowd's trick is to say you have to believe but you cant say repentance is required because saying what Jesus and Paul says is works salvation. So its just believe in Jesus and try not to sin or you'll get chastened, but if you commit adultery occasionally its okay, David did it and he was still saved. You can never out sin God's grace after all......... and we sit here wondering why Christianity is at the state that it is when this trash is preached?

1 Cor 6:9-10, Gal 5:19-21, Eph 5:3-6 are explained away or ignored by the go and sin some more crowd. "Jesus paid it all, so you can sin some more"
Sending multitudes to the pits, unfortunately this NEW osas doctrine didnt even exist until lazy comfort loving american rich pastors and theologians got their greasy hands on the Gospel. They twisted it from repentance faith holy living to saved in sins continue in sins make a breakthrough maybe McDonalds christianity.

Unheard of in church history, for a good reason.
Another sinless person who thinks he keeps the law

More pharisees to beat up on Christ and his followers.

You do know that ALL liars will have their part in the proverbial lake-o-fire right.....the above is false......and no one peddles the blather and drivel you are falsely accusing of........I suggest Proverbs 6.....one of the 7 God hates is a lying tongue and the above = a lying tongue
Coming from a guy who just denied verses. "nuh uhh". What a joke

There you go attacking again, Saying someone is doing something they are not doing.

Thats a typical sign man..
We have two of them twisting and embellishing what we say...all the while peddling a losable salvation by sin....their very actions and dogma speaks volumes

No it does not.
It says such were some of you BUT (the reason you are not now) You have been WASHED, Justified and Sanctified

I think what?

I think what John said, A sinner has never seen or known God. One who is born oofGod can not live in sin

You people do not think God can change people so they are no longer sinners. Thats on you my friend Stp attacking us who trust God not only CAN, but WILL change us

We have the same confidence paul had, That God, who started a good work in us WILL complete that work (not might)

Why don't you?

Jesus said the humble sinner went hime justified because he had faith

The prideful pharisee did not because he thought he was righteous because he did not commit certain sins.

No wonder the churches are in a state of ruin and apostasy if this is what is preached.

Here is the biblical way of dealing with alcohol abusers: REPENT or you wont inherit the kingdom. (1 Cor 6:9)

I have yet to see the "I am the righteousness of God in Christ!" work, its repeated and parroted by the pundits everywhere, yet we are seeing absolutely no fruit. We are seeing the opposite, we are seeing a national convention of Christian witches (Thats a real thing) and we are seeing apostasy and iniquity increase.
There are video testimonies available where guys are sharing that they are set free from pornography merely by believing and speaking the words "I am the righteousness of God in Christ!" For you, seems you have already made up your mind that it does not work, so showing you the video testimony will not change your mind towards this.

It takes some time of course, but the point is, they are also repenting. Repenting is saying the same things as God. God sees us as righteous because of Jesus's obedience, and not ours. Only by changing our minds to that truth, can we be truly set free from the power of sin.

Im trying to understand dcon-man's false gospel. He still hasnt shared it. According to him anyone who believes his "true gospel" is saved. Anyone else believes in a false Jesus. He actually said my Jesus is false.

Now according to his statement that leaves the context of his statement very broad and covers even catholics. Because yes they believe in Jesus the one who died on the cross. Have you seen all the crucifixes they adorn their churches with? So that is why it sounds absurd. And his arguement was they dont believe the same gospel as d-conman that is why I find myself understanding that he has a different gospel than everyone else.

He fails to share this gospel which is his obligation as a disciple of Christ to share.

Are you serious? Bro you stated you went to baptist church for years. Just cuz you take someone out the church doesnt mean the person aint indoctrinated. I know plenty of converted catholics who still have same catholic tendancies.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? (Does it say they stopped? Are you serious man?)
2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (not in our same vomit but newness!)
5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: (was his likeness any sin that you can fill in the blank here? NO!)
6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. (Did they stop sinning? Whats this say? Clearly we are not to serve sin!)
7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Dead to sin. Sin no more. Walk like Christ.)
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. (talking to all you posters who say all sins are fine now. We are under grace.)
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. (so you mean we must obey? Not just believe?OFCOURSE!)
18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness. (Does that sound like continuing in your iniquity?)
20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
(No only one sin is unforgiveable right? Unbelief?)
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. (but E.G. told me we start with everlasting life? Isnt that what being saved begins with? Everlasting life?)
23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Bro check out Romans 1-3 Paul speaks pretty clear about sin and how the law is not done away with. Jesus paid for our sins, we must accept this gift and turn from sin. Sin leads to death.

There is no more repentance for that if we die in iniquity. Were still alive so there is still hope and we can turn from sin in repentance and follow Christ. We must be obedient to God.

Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
6 Who will render to every man according to his deeds:

7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified

Romans 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.
28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.

29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also:
30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
