I don't know which translation you used, but here is the KJV for Revelation 3:5.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment, and I will not blot his name out of the book of life. But I will confess his name before My Father and before the angels.

You totally missed what I was trying to convey.

One could understand Jesus comment to indicate that there is a possibility that a name could be blotted out.
Rev 3:5
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
KJV
That verse is in reference to books (plural ). to be compared to another. The lambs book of life as all God intended to save from the foundation of the world and the other book, the book of temporal life as in every creature he planned to create. . One book will have all the names the other as many as the father gave to the Son.

There will no blotting out of those in the lambs book of life. They who have not been redeemed by the lamb of God slain from before the foundation simply are not written there.

My view on the book of the living....everyone is written in and only removed and or rather not written in when they deny Christ <---I.E. Not the type of denial like Peter, but rather no saving faith.....the KEY to the quote you reference<---I will not confess his name before My Father and before his angels....

*He that confesses me before men will I confess before my Father <---saving faith-->with the mind man believes unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And where is that scripture?
Once again, you seem to be suggesting that God is a liar and makes mistakes. The book isn't like an appointment book where names can be written down and scribbled out just because they're a no-show for appts..

Exactly. The "gems" of salvation are there for the finding.
But the salvation is already yours, your not trying to earn it.your trying to work out what you already have

Producing fruit is working our your salvation.

Our responsibility is to obey all that is within our ability and to continue walking with our Lord.
What's our ability?
What is our capacity?
Where does it come from and how can it be affected?

Sorry for all the questions.

Please provide the scripture reference.
You are trying to undue a persons eternal salvation, you cannot undue what God has already purposed for each saved individual. True believers are "sealed" for the day of redemption. God has a unique plan for each true born again Christian.

1 Corinthians 2:9
However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived" -- the things God has prepared for those who love him--

Ephesians 4:30
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.

I come from the meanstreets as ive said many times on here. This is relevant because I saw someone in this thread mention the word probation or probationary or something like that, i dont know why i cant find it now that i need to quote it, but nonetheless, here is a story:

I thought "wow, salvation is like a probation to some people, you mess up and you're back in". Before I decided to post this I looked it up and turns out there actually are a TON OF people who in a non-joking way speak of salvation as a probation period! I found a guy on youtube called Kerrigan skelly who called it just that!

Now apply this to real life: is your SENTENCE completed if you are out on parole for example? NO its not.
Are you in possession of eternal life, if you can lose it? NO, not really.

ANYONE who has been locked up knows what its like to be on parole, you are afraid to LIVE, in case you drive over the speed limit, they are OUT TO GET YA.

Not.... He will save

Believers (the justified, regenerated) are eternally saved from the moment they are born again.
...But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body. Philippians 3:20-21

Are you no longer awaiting for a Savior from heaven because you are eternally saved the very moment you believed?
Obedience is not what saves us. Obedience does not garner us salvation, nor keep it or maintain it.

Faith and belief in Jesus is what saves us.
What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge.” Romans 3:3-4

...Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient. Therefore do not be partners with them. Ephesians 5:6-7
