Yeah, well, you're just a rabid rattle snake with legs. I think we're related. LOL!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe we are just "direct" so it comes off as unloving? I truly dont say what I say in a "negative mindset" if that makes sense. I dont intend for it to be mean or anything.

I really got to work on myself. lol. But I know im in good company, MANY good preachers and teachers were called negative and mean and all kinds of things. Granted, you are the preacher here, not me :D
They said all kinds of things about Jesus too.

Biblically speaking those who profess to being believers, even if they aren't, are to receive the harsher rebukes and correction. Those on the outside are to be treated gently in their opposition; 2 Timothy 2:25 &c. People simply do not know their Bibles, they have an assumptive Christianity so to witness true doctrine in action they are shocked and think it is hate.

Those within the church, involved in "the faith" who are in opposition to truth, who teach false doctrine don't receive the same treatment, biblically. Note Matthew 18, Romans 16:17, 2 Timothy 4, Titus 1:13. 1 Corinthians 5:13 &c. They in fact receive a harsher treatment for their behavior, teachings, error.

Lack of church discipline today shows us why people cannot tolerate these facts -- they believe in coddling the errant person and their doctrines and believe this to be biblical "love." There is no way that these would accept casting a person out of church as demanded by Christ, that would be "unloving."

People can then believe this to be unloving, and until they get on track with Scripture they'll remain this way.

All I can say is that this person truly deserves to be part of the Staff here. Amazingly friendly and godly attitude. I love it. Wish I could be as friendly, often times I come across as unloving.
Thank you, Hevosmies. This person plays only a small role here, but I am so grateful because I really wanted to serve here in some capacity. I prayed about it and Praise be to God, God allowed it. I am so grateful. Anyway, that was a blessing reading, thank you so much. Your comment sure was a loving one that made me smile. Again, thank you, Hev.

What is the point?
is physical life what God calls "life" ?
and is physical death what God calls "death" ?

maybe you're using human perceptions trying to comprehend God's thoughts, and that creates an impasse.
maybe you need to expand your mind about what these things really are

He is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

A believer does not die (sleep) but they are transformed in a twinkling of an eye.

I think direct is good and there is a time for that. Everything about Jesus is direct. So many of you have taught so much to many of us. I learn a great deal reading here. I think it is a matter of balance, that the delivery is a heart matter; I believe it is important in the receiving and in the giving. But standing in His truth also takes His direct strength approach, huh? Hey about working on ourselves, me too. I sure need His grace, desperately, often and regular. We are called to grow, huh? Doggone, it is hard sometimes. Thanks to Him, though, we are not left to do it alone.

Ever read the Walrus and the Carpenter by Lewis Carol?
It seems to me to describe the harvest at the end of the age.

THE WALRUS AND THE CARPENTER BY lEWIS CAROL

The sun was shining on the sea,
Shining with all his might:
He did his very best to make
The billows smooth and bright--
And this was odd, because it was
The middle of the night.

The moon was shining sulkily,
Because she thought the sun
Had got no business to be there
After the day was done--
"It's very rude of him," she said,
"To come and spoil the fun!"

The sea was wet as wet could be,
The sands were dry as dry.
You could not see a cloud, because
No cloud was in the sky:
No birds were flying overhead--
There were no birds to fly.

The Walrus and the Carpenter
Were walking close at hand;
They wept like anything to see
Such quantities of sand:
"If this were only cleared away,"
They said, "it would be grand!"

"If seven maids with seven mops
Swept it for half a year.
Do you suppose," the Walrus said,
"That they could get it clear?"
"I doubt it," said the Carpenter,
And shed a bitter tear.

"O Oysters, come and walk with us!"
The Walrus did beseech.
"A pleasant walk, a pleasant talk,
Along the briny beach:
We cannot do with more than four,
To give a hand to each."

The eldest Oyster looked at him,
But never a word he said:
The eldest Oyster winked his eye,
And shook his heavy head--
Meaning to say he did not choose
To leave the oyster-bed.

But four young Oysters hurried up,
All eager for the treat:
Their coats were brushed, their faces washed,
Their shoes were clean and neat--
And this was odd, because, you know,
They hadn't any feet.

Four other Oysters followed them,
And yet another four;
And thick and fast they came at last,
And more, and more, and more--
All hopping through the frothy waves,
And scrambling to the shore.

The Walrus and the Carpenter
Walked on a mile or so,
And then they rested on a rock
Conveniently low:
And all the little Oysters stood
And waited in a row.

"The time has come," the Walrus said,
"To talk of many things:
Of shoes--and ships--and sealing-wax--
Of cabbages--and kings--
And why the sea is boiling hot--
And whether pigs have wings."

"But wait a bit," the Oysters cried,
"Before we have our chat;
For some of us are out of breath,
And all of us are fat!"
"No hurry!" said the Carpenter.
They thanked him much for that.

"A loaf of bread," the Walrus said,
"Is what we chiefly need:
Pepper and vinegar besides
Are very good indeed--
Now if you're ready, Oysters dear,
We can begin to feed."

"But not on us!" the Oysters cried,
Turning a little blue.
"After such kindness, that would be
A dismal thing to do!"
"The night is fine," the Walrus said.
"Do you admire the view?

"It was so kind of you to come!
And you are very nice!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"Cut us another slice:
I wish you were not quite so deaf--
I've had to ask you twice!"

"It seems a shame," the Walrus said,
"To play them such a trick,
After we've brought them out so far,
And made them trot so quick!"
The Carpenter said nothing but
"The butter's spread too thick!"

"I weep for you," the Walrus said:
"I deeply sympathize."
With sobs and tears he sorted out
Those of the largest size,
Holding his pocket-handkerchief
Before his streaming eyes.

"O Oysters," said the Carpenter,
"You've had a pleasant run!
Shall we be trotting home again?'
But answer came there none--
And this was scarcely odd, because
They'd eaten every one.

Maybe you are going to die but I'm not going to. I've live almost 100 years, I'm 93, and I have been there done that. Seen it, too. I'm having a great time here.

I was there when my Dad went from this life to the next. I was conscious of a presence of two beings who came and helped him make the transition from this life to the next. I'll be following him soon, and according to statistics my leaving here is a bit past due.

Wow. 93!

May I ask you sir, how are you feeling, are you still healthy? Do you feel the world is currently better or worse when you were growing up?
What advice would you give to the next generation growing up now?

But not everything nor everyone is going to die.
Remember the purpose of salvation …
plus there is a millennium of Godly government yet to come, plus
a new Earth and living into the eternities.

Why nor desire to be part of this - choose life, not death.
Right on Waggles, we are not told precisely what happens to the earthly animals after the earth is made over and we are immortalized. Isa. 65 talks of animals during the GWTJ, after the millennium. Some people think the new earth must cause the old one to completely burn up. I don't see that. Why not have some animals on the new earth. Death need only cease to be for humans. :)

What is the point?
I've mentioned in other posts that I've not studied the Bible enough to provide a theological perspective/answer. However, up until my salvation in June of this year I continually asked the same question.

What is the point?

It's a loaded question with approximately 15 gazillion answers. I spent years searching for the answer to this question at the bottom of bottles, in the hazy fog of drug smoke and in my reflection in the mirror I was snorting cocaine off. I tried looking at the blackjack table and on the betting sites. I never found the answer to my question.

The only place I've come close to the answer is in the Bible. The funny thing is I'm still not sure but my perspective has changed and I know that I don't need to know because Jesus has got my back. I hope you work through this period of your life.

God Bless,

Idk I'm drunk right now and I don't understand how people can be so strong to love God and talk about God. I've tried to do the right thing and get someone older to help me stop drinking etc but they don't want to help. They say to go somewhere else and leave. I don't understand. Like life is depressing and doesn't make sense.

As much as you think other people are gonna help you out the only person you can actually trust is yourself. Pull yourself up by your bootstraps. I'm not strong. I'm incredibly weak by myself. It's why I spent nearly 15 years continually drunk and high. I couldn't do this by myself. I got no help from physical people. I trusted in God as the only friend I had. Yeah I've stumbled along the way. I've gone back and got high and got drunk but it's never 'worked'. Once you know there's another way the old way becomes kinda toxic to you. I'm praying for you sister.

I'm so sad that you are feeling so beat down. I am lifting you up to the One who can and will help you if you lean into Him, surrendering your all to Him. We are weak, but that is a blessing because His strength is perfected in our fragile estates. I pray right now, in Jesus name, you find deliverance from all the wounds, and the responses to them. I realize they hurt so much. Please take comfort in this...

He heals the brokenhearted And binds up their wounds.

This is what happens when people attempt to become Christian disciples without the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit.
It takes more than repentance and good intentions; without Christ Jesus and the Father dwelling within you then you can
do nothing … John 15:5

Pentecost is what true Christian discipleship is all about - believe the gospel, repent of your dead works, be baptised in water to
bury your old life and to be forgiven of your past sins, pray to be baptised in the Holy Spirit with the Bible evidence of speaking
in a new tongue.
Praying in the Holy Spirit allows one to utilize the power of God within a believer and thus greater works are done - healings,
miracles and blessings.
This again is why in Pentecost disciples have wonderful testimonies to being transformed and set free from their old lives
and sinful habits and being made new people through the work of the Holy Spirit.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Everything dies
Your right, yet it is written "wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding" [See-Prov 4:7] And thus the principle of the eternal holds that it has always existed, and does not change in nature or form; therefore the eternal is the only living being who could not die, or cease to exist.

In such, any life form or living being which is created or has a beginning is not eternal and thus it is written Jesus taught them, "Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life:" [See: John 5:39] And all one has to do is read what the son of David wrote in Eccelesatics 3:1-2 "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die;"

So yes, everything which is created or has a beginning of existence would not be eternal and therefore if not eternal would have an end of existence.
What's the point?
It is written that the days of man in the flesh one the earth shall be a 120 years but men would rather love and maketh a lie then maybe the transconfiguration is merely the LORD's way of seperating those worship him in spirit and truth from those who left behind the principles of the doctrine of Christ for eternal life in the darkness of falsehood and deceit, or at least until the die.

Wow. 93!

May I ask you sir, how are you feeling, are you still healthy? Do you feel the world is currently better or worse when you were growing up?
What advice would you give to the next generation growing up now?
Do you have a couple of days to read my response?

I have a prayer shawl and it closes out the physical world when I put it around me I can listen to the Lord. If I feel ill, I just let God fill my body and soul. I get a staph infection sometimes, but I have learned to just roll with the punches. There is always beauty no matter what the world is doing. In fact, our God is there with loving care even if the worse happens and we go on in physical death. God even takes care of that.

I'd like to write a book about the changes to our world, even the people have changed. God runs our world, and the Christian church has been a great force for good, but it is more and more off track. It is mostly in the Jew/gentile stuff with the gentiles saying the Jews are all wet, and the Jews retaliating. Church started out with them sharing God. Gentiles had no idea of a Jewish God, God was one and God of all. The Jews have the Talmud and the traditions, but it is nothing to the additions and what is taken away by the Christians.

So todays church is a sort of lame duck in our world, with most people living in God's world oblivious to God power.

But there are wonders! Computers, deep sea scrolls adding to history, medical advances, --I could go on and on.
