Hey Umzza, still feeling down? You know there was a man named Solomon who asked these kind of questions. He was battling with some hard times that had him discouraged it seems. I totally think sometimes life is painful and quite arduous but He is our hope.

. The name of his book is Ecclesiastes. It is filled with words of a man struggling with what sounds like depression. This was his drawn conclusion...

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.
Ecclesiastes 12:13‭-‬14 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/ecc.12.13-14.KJV

Why do we do this practically beyond the truth of what's to come? Why do we concern ourselves with the negative or good consequences of our choices made today that won't be known until another day, possibly way on down the road?

I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

What is the point?
Hi Umzza, decay/death was not part of God's original design for Creation.

........."Through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin" .. Romans 5:12

There's much more. Gotta go right now though, but I'll be back (Dv).

Each morning when I get out of bed to go to work I look forward to the evening when I go back to bed.

I suggest you read up on the angelic conflict. A good book is "The Invisible War" by Dr. Donald Grey Barnhouse which is available through Amazon.

What is the point?
But not everything nor everyone is going to die.
Remember the purpose of salvation …
plus there is a millennium of Godly government yet to come, plus
a new Earth and living into the eternities.

Why nor desire to be part of this - choose life, not death.

What is the point?
Everything is NOT going to die. The children of God will have eternal life, and glorious resurrected, and immortal bodies.

Also, after the Second Coming of Christ, everything will be put in order, following which a New Heavens and a New Earth will come into existence, and all sin and evil will be banished from the universe.

Come unto Me (is meant by Jesus to reveal Himself as the Giver of Salvation), all you who labor and are heavy laden (trying to earn Salvation by works), and I will give you rest (this "rest" can only be found by placing one's Faith in Christ and what He has done for us at the Cross [Gal. 5:1-6]).

Take My yoke upon you (the "yoke" of the "Cross" [Lk. 9:23]), and learn of Me (learn of His Sacrifice [Rom. 6:3-5]); for I am meek and lowly in heart (the only thing that our Lord Personally said of Himself): and ye shall find rest unto your souls (the soul can find rest only in the Cross).

For My yoke is easy, and My burden is light (what He requires of us is very little, just to have Faith in Him, and His Sacrificial Atoning Work). Matthew 11:28-30

Let Jesus pull the load!

Finally, the Bible tells us that both the saint .. cf John 3:16, 5:24, 10:27-28, and the reprobate .. cf Daniel 12:2; Matthew 25:46a; Revelation 14:11, 20:10 will lead a conscious existence in the next age/in eternity, the former living forever on the New Earth in the presence of God, and the latter living forevermore in the Lake of Fire, apart from God .

Very sorry, but I got pulled away from my computer and was therefore unable to make the additions/corrections I needed to make in my last post (post #12 above) before the 5 minute editing time was up, so I'll try again here:

Finally, the Bible tells us that both the saint .. cf John 3:16, 5:24, 10:27-28, and the reprobate .. cf Daniel 12:2c; Matthew 25:46a; Revelation 14:11, 20:10, will lead an eternal, conscious existence in the next age, the former living forevermore on the New Earth in the presence of God, and the latter living forever in the Lake of Fire, apart from God .

Where we end up and how we will spend eternity is determined on this side of the grave, but conscious life goes on beyond the grave for all.

What is the point?
The point is expression. God is a designer, an engineer, an.....artist. He creates because He is the Creator. Just like an inventor must invent, and a painter, paint. We are the physical representation of the Almighty’s imagination. This canvass will fade and when it does, He already has the blueprints for His next masterpiece drawn up.

So, you wanna "reason with God?"

Just think, had He not created everything, you wouldn't be around to ask questions such as this..........uh, er, hmm

Joined in 2015, and you barely have any comments? WHAT'S THE POINT?

The point is that the triune God loves within himself, and that God has freely chosen to love us, and reveal the mystery of salvation, which is Christ Jesus, God incarnate, who loved us so much, he went to the cross, and paid the price for our sins.

Or the simple version -God loves you! The Creator of the universe loves you!

PS You sound like you have severe depression. Would you mind if I sent you a pm?

What is the point?
Only the physical body we are born in dies.. We are eternal.. We will never cease to exist..

This life is a time for us to seek God and respond to His will ... Acceptance or Rejection
This life gives us an opportunity to serve Gods eternal plan... To play a part in the defeat of the satanic rebellion..
This life is short... Eternity is forever... And ever. :)

All I can say is that this person truly deserves to be part of the Staff here. Amazingly friendly and godly attitude. I love it. Wish I could be as friendly, often times I come across as unloving.
